@@jamesgu1755 Hey James, we don't currently have a paid membership or tutoring service. Perhaps sometime in the future we''ll implement something like this, but we just don't have the time right now. You can always comment and let us know which video topics you'd like to see and if we have time and haven't made them yet we'll get to them.
Hi there, thanks for all those videos. really appreciate the effort. I wonder if there is any plan in the future to do a video about seismic concrete design (per CSA A23.3 ) for buildings? thanks
Thanks! Yes we're always considering more videos...right now we're probably going to focus on structural drawings and how to read/assemble them but we'll get there!
His design calls for 8-30M rebar. Each 30M rebar has a diameter close to 30mm. The cross sectional area of each bar is then Pi/4* (30mm)^2 = 700 square millimeters. The area of all 8 of them is the total area of steel, As. The area of steel is then 8 x 700mm^2 = 5600 mm^2. Hope that makes sense.
Hi, not quite sure what you're asking..so given a strip of slab with 2 point loading at equal spacing you need to solve for the thickness of the slab? You can size the slab based.on shear, it's an iterative process.
Stay tuned for more RC column videos, let us know what you want to see next below!
Do you have a website or paied membership? I am struggling with my mechanics courses and really need video help like this.

@@AFMathandEngineeringThank you for your kind reply and I wish you and your channel all the best!
I cannot find any other column videos?
I really appreciate your help, your channel is helping me a lot to get prepared for studying master.
Great, we're glad that you found our videos helpful! Good luck!
Do you have a video comparing slender vs short column, I cannot find it?

sir as per CSA standard, maximum how many times of overall thickness, the column height should be
HOW DID YOU GET AST= 8*700? (EXPLAIN DETAIL ABOUT 700) PLEASE

guys I need help with finding the thickness of the concrete with 2 point loads at a third of the slab. I'm so confused. Help?
