@0:21 = THANK YOU!!! that phrase you threw in "how to ENABLE sample-tracks in DJ.studio" was perfect - I just updated to a new version of the software, and somehow the Sample Lanes I had enabled a few months ago had disappeared, I totally forgot there was even a switch to enable/disable them :) thanks
We now have 3 sample lanes and one voiceover. The Voice over lane does a volume sidechain on the master volume so everything in that lane ducks the master volume. super cool!
I love the idea, but in the Beta version, there is a severe bug at this point: when you tweak a transition, the one(s) you worked on previously get messed up, whether they are locked or not! Please fix this!
Show stems does not work on samples at the moment. So you need to isolate them from the source track. It will be an audio clip so fine tuning can be done later on the sample lane.

I'm brand new to the software and the training vids and agree, he is very well informed but speaks WAY too fast, without pausing between sentences. Makes it very difficult to follow along.

Je n’ai absolument rien à dire. D’ailleurs je pense l’acquérir incessamment sous peu mais pour l’instant je comptais en apprendre un petit peu plus au travers des vidéos en français. Je vous remercie quand même pour la rapidité de votre réponse à mon message. When i put a sample on the lane this seems to be stuck on the above transitions. When i put the transition on a different place the sample on the lane seems to be magnetic to that transition. Is there any tip to solve this ?

Hi, I love DJ Studio. I have a question. I normally have 12 tracks inserted into my mix and then I click on automix icon, which blocks me from what I can insert at the beginning. How do I insert a jingle at the start and at the end of my mix. Also I would like to insert Voice overs within the mix. I hope this makes sense. Thanks

Samples are only exported in a complete bounced mix.

Love using the app. If you use part of a song as a sample, can it show stems so I can isolate the vocal only for the sample in the mix?

Best thing to do is go in to the UA-cam settings and play it slower. UA-camr trick 👍🏾

the filter knobs under effects sometimes disappears or cant be placed properly fyi please patch

How can I transpose the key of a sample ?
On the effects tab is a pitch automation option to automate the pitch.
When i put a sample on the lane this seems to be stuck on the above transitions.
When i put the transition on a different place the sample on the lane seems to be magnetic to that transition.

It is designed this way. Samples stick to the track where you use them. So, moving the track in the mix brings all edits and samples with it.
Ok so, been messing with this, however the looping arrows don’t work on Mac? No brackets either. I need to shorten a sample

You can copy a part of the first track, making room for a jingle. You can tell Automix that you want to lock the first track in a mix.

Yes you can through the Automation tab.
