RNG is involved in this. They could've got to floor 10 with a lot of k.o's and without being targeted much. Another thing, TL rank does not fully represent general skill because Quick Play isn't the same as 1v1.
How did you get so much more climb speed than me when I tried this? A 49 spike increased your climb speed from around 6.25 to 9, but a 43 spike only took me from 6.25 to 7.95. (Replay ID: R:85f6e2a21eb0)
I'm still trying to analyze the problem here... It looks like the longer you spend in a run the less contribution to climb speed your attacks have. I mean, the trick to trigger hyperspeed is still not easy, my case is probably the bare minimum.
I was just able to start hyperspeed, by sending 37 lines at 2:32 with a climb speed of 6.90 (Replay: R:ebacaf6f21d6). I was thinking that your climb speed increase was doubled since there was garbage to cancel, but I didn't have any garbage and still got a larger increase this time.
@@HuyTheKillerGaming volatile does not affect climb rate, it just lets you CANCEL twice the garbage. Canceled garbage doesn’t count towards the spike, so for my strat volatile is detrimental

One time I very briefly got into hyperspeed by 4-widing a bunch (no mods / tarot cards)
combo is more efficient at increasing climb speed than regular b2b attacks (outside releasing a big surge)
i really need a quick play guide on this, it’s hard when i see S- players make it to floor 10 when i’m S+ and i’ve only ever made it to floor 8 twice

the thing is, volatile gives very clean garbage, allowing you to keep hyperspeed for the long run
