I like your idea of the tire inflation. It reminds me of the German STIS system on the bigger overlanders. I keep wondering if it would be better to run all of the compressors into at least one large air tank (transport truck size) and then plumb a separate regulator for front tires, and another for rear tires, again with four clip on lines? You could have the tank full and ready to go (at max tank pressure, well above expected tire pressure) before you stopped to air up.
@@rodmcisaac3 hey mate yeah I was going to run in to a large tank I just find 12volt compressors struggle when filling tanks as well as large tyres to high PSI. Tank being full to start with would be good however once that air is used the compressors will struggle more trying to fill the tank and the tyres just. If you had a a larger compressor or belt driven compressor that would work very well.
Gday Tyson, Do you have any advice on how to convince the ministers of war and finance that a 2500 or 3500 more suitable for touring full time with the family?
@@matthewduncaniixxgdxt1204 hahahaha hey mate, not really I guess it depends on need as in load/towing weight that’s a good reason being a family, also very comfortable and more room, and if your budget allows for it.
Thanks mate, since seeing your video and asking you the question, we have been away twice! I think I have convinced the minister or war and finance to proceed with upgrading the car. The straw that broke the camels back, we could take the kids bikes because we didn’t have the weight capacity..
You always give us a lot to think about Tyson great build
Great build Tyson. Having the ability to customise to your needs makes all the difference. Given me plenty to think about. Thanks for sharing. Paul.
@@SharkWrangler817 cheers mate, thank you!

@@roamin_in_a_ram Thanks for the clarification.
@@rodmcisaac3 Allgood mate. But yeah if you had larger compressors 24volt or belt driven I would definitely do it the way you described.
Hi Do you interested in adding some LED upgrade or a switch panel to your rig? We hope to do some sponsorship with you!
