    Honestly, can someone explain why the landing was cut off? and also, in 12:57, what is the flying piece on the left going so fast?

    • @masterchief416
      @masterchief416 4 роки тому +2

      I can explain:
      During landing, the droneship shakes so much, that the antenna and satellite dish that streams the images to us in real time using satellite internet loses its connection briefly, once the shaking stops (rocket engine shuts off) we can get a signal back. The ship is in the middle of the ocean, there's no way to route the signal for a live stream in any other ways.
      SpaceX of course records the imagery on board the drone ship, the footage exists, just not on the livestreams.

      It's truly amazing and I'm glad there's more competition in spaceflight, but for the foreseeable future, spaceflight will still be government sponsored. Remember that SpaceX is just like a contractor to NASA. The difference between then and now is the more efficient use of resources, but the cost is still beyond reach of commercialization, until maybe we start using renewable nuclear engine powered rockets

    Hey guys, take a closer look on 6:57 at the left picture. Put the screen on max size. You will see the first animal who can live and breath in total vakuum.( A mouse). They are tripping you with this footage xD.

    I think, other than being cheaper, the best part about us using falcon 9 as a launch vehicle for launching astronauts is that it's arguably safer than the Russian rocket, as it has less points of failure and better redundancy.
