It is truly heartbreaking to read comments that instead of applauding our achievements, saying " well done" , does the opposite and cuts a person down. Are we going forward as a species or backwards? What is the logic when we speak up against a good deed, a kind act? If we speak up against good, surely we are speaking for evil. It is nothing new that us humans are more often than not in-human, cruel, merciless and evil. Back in time a kind-soul preached in order to help humanity. For his efforts he was imprisoned, beaten, made to drink vinegar, mocked, made to wear a crown of thorns, bear a heavy cross while being dragged through the streets. He met a tragic end after being nailed to that cross and so the story goes. What did he do that was so wrong that deserved such cruelty? I can clearly see the cruelty of us. What I don't understand was where we're the good people to stop this, even speak up against this. Do you have any idea of the cost of the Starship program? Do you understand the logistics involved to keep such a program alive. Do you know what the goal and purpose of such a mammoth undertaking is. Before you go an shoot the good guy down understand this. Nobody has the power, money or time to invest all they have into an almost impossible illusive goal. That has no possible monetory returns other than that of making humanity a multiplanetory species in order for us to stand a fighting chance should an unfortunate catostrophe befall planet earth. Perhaps our children's children will have the gratitude that we lack.
There aren't "good" & "bad" people, we all have "good" & "bad" in us & I put those words in quotation marks because very often they aren't objectively defined. The reason Yeshua was tortured & murdered by the Jews was because they misinterpreted his claim to be "the son of God" as claiming be their god Yahweh. What he did was "bad" & what they did in retaliation was "good", in their eyes.
For the booster, they determined it wasn't within safe parameters. At risk of destroying the launchpad which they only have one of. As for the ship, it doesn't have the catch points. So they wouldn't be able to. Instead they removed heat tiles where the catch points would be to see if it could survive reentry with those tiles gone
In-orbit engine relight and attempting reentry with less heat shielding in certain areas. While they didn't manage to catch the booster this time, everything else was a success.
Here's one for you: If you watch the entire video above, you will see numerous different onboard camera angles several of which show different amounts of curve on the horizon in the background. Why do they not all show the same amount of curve?
Low cost access to space. Rockets are expensive, reusing them makes them less expensive. If you can make a fully reusable rocket, like what they’re trying to do with starship, you can launch a lot of stuff to orbit for relatively cheap.

They need the data, it's more valuable than the ship
Why do they destroy perfectly good cars to test safety features? 😂
Nice thumbnail 😂😂
Keep distroying good fellas,
Someone may have missed the 360+ successful landing.
Put it under a full load and see what happens.
One's again aliens showed us there sense for timing, look at 4:20 on the right screen...
you mean the peice of ice that broke off?
"Aliens" aren't physical bro, & no-ones really going into space.

you should retrieve the ship and the buster ..
it´s actually sick that you don´t ..
please make a plan to retrieve the ship and buster every time !!!!
land them on something, use something inflatable, dive for it , do something please .
this is not Ok !!
Make a raft and try and land it !!!!
No catch and more pollution in the oceans...
Look at the World’s top twenty commercial passenger airlines. Each and every single one of them pollutes more in one single day, than this one single launch.
Per weight, just two larger passenger jets pollute more than this
What a GREAT splashdown again😂
Go Elon and the team ❤
Жалко у нас космонавтика в опе
They could at least have shown the dramatic explosions after touching down in the ocean. We didn't get to see a catch so we at least deserved to see explosions instead!
where is the Earth shattering KABOOM?
I witnessed the explosion i caught it on camera
@@andyman8630 I wouldn't say it was "earth-shattering" - nonetheless, the booster exploded quite spectacularly shortly after landing in the Gulf of Mexico - an event that is sadly absent from this video.
They are dumping the rocket in the ocean? That‘s so disrespectful. These are our oceans. Don‘t let billionaires pollute them.
Could we give the engineers the credits please snd lets not forget that billions of tax money goes to support it
The audio from the staff is very annoying!
Wats that big round thing ant earth flat
For all the haters out there, you cant put brains in statues. 😏
@@SazzbinnSmutzthat's like saying a water leak is toxic
The applause track is annoying
it's the control room
Why didn’t they catch? What’s the point of this test?
To ditch this version for more space for the v2 starship.
That is great all people will happy now you see
Dude…SPEAK ENGLISH
To far away to see the landing take place
am waiting for Flatbrain comments🍿🍿
Here's one for you:
If you watch the entire video above, you will see numerous different onboard camera angles several of which show different amounts of curve on the horizon in the background.
Why do they not all show the same amount of curve?
What's the point in all this just wandering
Low cost access to space. Rockets are expensive, reusing them makes them less expensive. If you can make a fully reusable rocket, like what they’re trying to do with starship, you can launch a lot of stuff to orbit for relatively cheap.
I’m only here to see if the earth is flat or not so I can prove it.
your ambitions are very limited. By the way, that's been proven in many ways. Surveyors for example can tell if the land is flat or bulging
@ lmao.. Ambitions? I don’t care that much. I just want to show this someone I know who think Earth is flat and laugh at him.
Don't forget to tell him it's been 84 years 😂
You need to find a video showing earth's curve that isn't shot with a fisheye lens first. @@starsuper5053

So starship can land horizontally! More stable than vertical landing.
No it cannot. It can only land vertically. It comes down horizontally to provide as much aerodynamic resistance.
to land horizontally you have to redesign the whole starship but talking to efficiency vertical is the best
DOGE 👍
Another big achievement of Elon is to drive Trump's campaign to phenomenal success. There are many great people who failed driving Trump's campaign to failure. Elon deserves to be honored for that.
So when will people step into this thing? Somewhere in 2050 or so, when Elon has passed away?
Prob two years, maybe 3
That's when it gets really interesting. Will they use legit astronauts or will they give astronaut training to celebrities? 😂
Booster 13 the failure
The booster didnt fail, there was a problem with the tower.
My pet peeve: "vehicle is pitching downrange". Duh!
Of course it is, but that's like that's like saying, the vehicle pointy end is up and flamey end down. NOT newsworthy. If it does something it's not supposed to do, then tell me.
