Make no mistake, this game was interminably captivating. Everything about it was amazing. There was something mystical about it, seriously, I can't explain it, but it was, is, and will always be absolutely class
we organized a stunts tournament couple of years ago. just picked some quality track, decided which car must be used and then everyone had one week to make a good time and send a replay. great game.
my favorite racing game of all fuxxxing time! i remember building tracks for my best friend with a lot of ways to decide. most of them ended in either endless side-tracks or brutal traps :D only one way from start to finish was the right one... precious memories..
Wow, we used to have this game on our first (and perhaps also second) computer, I was very fond of it! I would love to play this game again, but in that case I would have to be able to run it on my Mac...
Is this ROLAND sound? Thx for the video upload. This game will always induce crazy nostalgic feelings in me. I used to spend hours making tracks and racing them with my uncle.
Absolutely wonderful game and very satisfying to play. I think most of you will agree with me that the 1980's actually didn't end on December 31, 1989. The 80's carried over somewhat until about 1992, maybe even the beginning of 1993. I remember being a child around that time and things still had this 80's feel to them, I can't explain it... Anyways, this game definitely has an 80's feel to it, utilizing the latest technology that was available at the time.
Davide Orlando I used a DOS COM file (it came along with my compressed copy of the game) back in the day to launch the game, which basically bypasses the game prompt.
xD WOWOW MEU DEUS!! Before 4D Sports Driving i recall that, all i used to play were Accolade's Grand Prix Circuit and Test Drive 1 ... and and this was a game i never forgot, the more volumetric sensation of it was asnotishing back in the old days, and it was so fun fun! I remember creating weird tracks and getting stressed up cuz i wanted to try em out ASAP!! I feel old xP
My friends and I spent hours playing this game as kids, we used to build crazy tracks just to launch the cars into space and would pretend we were taking drivers tests :P
I have the button problem. I can not find any pieces that it would open a security system or putting a seat belt attached. What shall I do? please help me find the damn button!
when i try to play i select lets drive then it ask something from the manual i drive for 5 seconds and my window cracks and i cant drive help plz? how can i play
+Aleksandar Zivanovic same here! same age as well! Only recently however did I learned you can actually change the geography of the scenarios (add mountains, etc) and not only the roads. :)
Back then my pc had so little memory that most of the times it would crash. The few times I managed to play it at the lowest resolution CGI I felt blessed.
Hi! I am searching for audio files of the soundtrack in this game. Does anybody know a place where I can find it? I've recorded wave files when running the game in DOSbox but the quality becomes rather crappy. Thanks in advance!
I had this on my 286. Had to turn the graphics down to the lowest settings to make it playable. I had EGA 16 color 320x200 (if I remember right) graphics and PC speaker sound. Oh I loved this game.
I really hated that Lancia Delta HF integrale had the wrong cockpit: the one they used is from a Lancia Thema 8.32 Ferrari, not a Lancia Delta ones! Plus when you are playing lights of the delta were not visible :(
Also, are you aware that there is a "live racing" scene in the community too? We meet in the chat room and race live on new tracks with minimum replay handling.
Not only is the music bloody awesome. But look at that menu, its simple and yet it tells you everything you need to know, about what the game is. Instead of the shitty menu in most games today, oh we are playing a movie, Tell you what i wanna play a game. :D
@karebeari Yes I played that game on my Tulip/pentium 284. I had black/white monitor and pc speaker only. Spend like few years at this game making custom maps and playing with friends:P
Goddamn the memories. I constantly abused the bug where blocked the opponent's car for a bit, and then moved out of the way. His car would launch like a fucking space rocket.
Why did I youtubed for "Stunts 4D"? LOL Cause I used to love this game and spend hours and hours of the day making tracks. I was just 6 and I remember I used to play it in a monochrome monitor until it exploded.
You know, this plays well with Dosbox. I have Dosbox for my original Xbox. I don't use it much because I would have to map keys to the xbox controller. Strangely enough I've beaten King's Quest 6 with the xbox controller. The talkie one too, ahh. I guess I never thought about it though, Stunts really can be controlled with just a few keys. I'm going to get it up and running on the xbox.
Make no mistake, this game was interminably captivating. Everything about it was amazing. There was something mystical about it, seriously, I can't explain it, but it was, is, and will always be absolutely class
Call me crazy, but to this day, this is one of my favourite racing game. Along with GTR 2 and Richard Burns rally.
Richard Burns Rally is getting better and better...
I played 4d Drive today on Win 10 with DosBox, no problem at all.
I love the music and i got good memory's of this game.
The level editor was probably the best part - the true ancestor of Trackmania for sure
One of my favorite games... Simple is beautiful.
Man... this helped me survive college! GREAT game! It was like playing with legos!
omg this game takes me back! i was playing this in about 1994 when i was like 8 or 9 years old!!
Watching these old games brings back some good memories
Finally i got my rtx 3090. Time to play some Stunts.
we organized a stunts tournament couple of years ago. just picked some quality track, decided which car must be used and then everyone had one week to make a good time and send a replay.
great game.

Thanks for leaving the full intro theme to play! So many memories...
I logged a shit ton of hours on this game! Best music riff on permanent repeat ever...

Brings back a lot of memories. Awesome game and I still lobe the intro music.
Is this ROLAND sound?
Thx for the video upload. This game will always induce crazy nostalgic feelings in me.
I used to spend hours making tracks and racing them with my uncle.
Im back after all this time! Thanks again.

lol, nearly a tear dropped from my eye when I heard the title theme :D
Thanks for letting the music run, great stuff. :)
To think that these glitchy graphics were the most realistic ones on its time makes me shiver. At least the music was very well done.
I have 3.5" disks of this game, I just played it a few weeks ago
This game is so fun & addictive
I was just thinking of this game! Thank you for posting it!! I loved the Audi Quattro Sport, and I thought Helen Wheels was hott!
lol remember this game. I made the most awesome maps with the map editor, full of traps, short paths, secret roads and stuff.
The game that teached me, that in 4D, everything looks like 3D, but if you crash at the end of a bridge at high speed, you will fly up.
Well, I am 21 and tried to play it for old times sake. It is still AWESOME!!!
The music from this is just unforgettable 8-)
one of the funniest games ever created! Played it over years!
Ah man... I still have the floppy I was given this on all the way back in 1995... I spent waaay too many hours over the years playing.
This and stunt track racer really nailed a good feel for a stunt driving game. (My Tandy 1000 couldn't run this one though)
What is the key of the keyboard to disable The car's security system first in this game? Thanks
Davide Orlando I used a DOS COM file (it came along with my compressed copy of the game) back in the day to launch the game, which basically bypasses the game prompt.
@@GlauberLimaBR what is Dos com?Thanks
@@GlauberLimaBR Which Key of The keyboard should I use to disable The car's security system first while I Player with this game? Thanks
Reminds me of my kid times :)

Ohhhhhhhhh man, I love the main menu music. This brings back memories.
Oh god, it still does it.
@jazzpsalti I relly don´t now about the vga, but I remember has a 16 colors ega monitor
I always wanted to drive into the cities in the background. I was raised in a small town.
I have the button problem. I can not find any pieces that it would open a security system or putting a seat belt attached. What shall I do? please help me find the damn button!

Loopings yeah!
+Aleksandar Zivanovic same here! same age as well! Only recently however did I learned you can actually change the geography of the scenarios (add mountains, etc) and not only the roads. :)
Marcos Marin i know that. :")
Back then my pc had so little memory that most of the times it would crash. The few times I managed to play it at the lowest resolution CGI I felt blessed.
The music in this game rocked so hard. I want some tablature for this.
@karebeari Yeah! Until recently I only knew the pc speaker version... How the old programmers were able to do such a feat?!
Hi! I am searching for audio files of the soundtrack in this game. Does anybody know a place where I can find it? I've recorded wave files when running the game in DOSbox but the quality becomes rather crappy. Thanks in advance!
This game just has a charm to it that modern video games can't match.
I played this awesome game on a powerful 386 SX!!!!!! Good times...
this game is awesome,i had 7 years old when i played it
I pity every single person that didn't have a SoundBlaster card on their PC and couldn't listen to the fucking awesome title screen/track editor song
What? Imo Distinctive Software Inc. made awesome music into their games. Especially the intro of this and 4d sports boxing are legendary...
The cool thing is that the music is extremely awesome even when playing from the PC Speaker.
Best game ever. I remember playing it on an older pc. The music was not this good! But the game was greaaaaatttt!
The both 1.0 and 1.1 versions were released.
My. god!!! does anybody knows where can I find this game? this was one of my first pc games in the ega mode hehehe.
I remember playing this game as a kid. Then one day, we got a SOUND BLASTER card - wow, now it was with music and all! hahha...
I used to love to play Stunts :PP
There's a freeware game called Tile Racer which is a lot like Stunts with modern 3D graphics and arcade physics.
This game was one of the reason I became game developer.

Well ,cant agree more ,this was the legend !
Also, are you aware that there is a "live racing" scene in the community too? We meet in the chat room and race live on new tracks with minimum replay handling.
I spent YEARS.
@efrainc23 maybe you could run it in EGA, but this is clearly the mode I'm talkin, 320x200x256
Not only is the music bloody awesome. But look at that menu, its simple and yet it tells you everything you need to know, about what the game is.
Instead of the shitty menu in most games today, oh we are playing a movie, Tell you what i wanna play a game. :D
The main menu song would be awesome in Rock Band/GHWT. Truly awesome music.
One of my favorites...
omfg I remember playing this when I was 3-4 years old
ah... one of my favourite games :)
I always wanted to drive all the way out to the city in the skyline.
thanks for uploaaaaad, the musiiiic!!!!

I want Stunts with today's graphics!
I love the music! Great stuff.
That music, awesome!
Recuerdos de la infancia y el juego que me hizo aficionarme al coche

this game was awesome!
the best racing game on earth!
those hours slowly turned into weeks and months ... for me.
oh, man this reminds me on bleifuss fun!!! loved this game!
currently working on an ultimate remake of it, one that mixes this marvel with "terep 2".
I was 7 years old when I got an old 8088 for free(still own it), it has this game on :-)
sound comes out of the pc speaker though, no midi lol
@karebeari Yes I played that game on my Tulip/pentium 284. I had black/white monitor and pc speaker only. Spend like few years at this game making custom maps and playing with friends:P
Goddamn the memories. I constantly abused the bug where blocked the opponent's car for a bit, and then moved out of the way. His car would launch like a fucking space rocket.

So awsome!
@efrainc23 hahaha I bet abandonia net has it... and if I'm not mistaken, this is VGA, mode 13h

high density y0. i never had the double ones
I spent HOURS making tracks in this game.
Guys, if you really like this game, play it. There is a living, albeit small, Stunts community with online competitions.
GOG.com needs this game on there library now!
OMG!!!! Too memories....
And the music!! I FUCKIN' LOVE THIS GAME!
