He had a wonderful life when he came to you and he was LOVED and that's most important. I am certain he is up in kitty heaven zooming around with Finn Finn, Callie Rae, Petunia and all the others who were waiting for him 😻 Tears are good, don't be embarrassed, they cleanse the soul and prove that where there's grief there was great love. You have to stop acknowledging these trolls or ignorant people that criticize you and your sanctuary. They dont deserve to be acknowledged. You and all the people that work with you are truly amazing and beautiful people with incredible hearts.

Awwww this is fantastic thanks!! I have been saving kitties since I moved up north! It’s freezing here in the winter and unfortunately people around here have to many feral cats due to all the farms. I now have four kitties and the humane society has been very helpful with taking the kittens and getting them adopted. I had help getting them all fixed as well. Please support the animal shelters!!! I also was a volunteer for two years at a horse rescue unfortunately this is a huge problem and with the garbage economy it will probably get worse. 🙏❤️
Most people owning Horses will find a way to feed them before themselves ! Our Economy isn't the problem. Plenty of Jobs. Its people who will Abuse an animal no matter what circumstances. I see it often, at a rescue farm up the road here.

I love that these cats are so healthy and happy. I have 16 cats and just recently retired. My cats love me being home with them, to stoke the wood stove and feed them so well. I homemake some of their diet, and they are so grateful. ❤ I have to keep a record book of when they were dewormed, flea meds, ears cleaned and claws trimmed. Otherwise there’s no way I could keep up.

Some people who say animals don't have souls are wrong in their thinking, of course. They're usually the same people who say, "It was ONLY a cat/dog/"etc. when someone is in grief at an animal companion passing. There is no such animal as ONLY a cat or ONLY a dog.......etc....
As a recuer care taker,i know how much this little guys suffer out side they in the street they figth for food,for shelter, ect un less they related, by commun living, from the begining, or by blood. This cats are so well be have to each other .something posible only by the security of knowing that they get hungry they will get food ,and if it get could they whont got to worry. So like you said i to think they are very happy/grampa you will live in the harts of every que cat lover, untill the day comes were all our questions will be answer, as we hope.

We lost Romeow suddenly age 6 to a saddle clot. His soul mate Tortie was depressed and so were we. Well from the same shelter a few months later. I spot his mirror image! Hibou fell for him immediately and they were joined at the hip till we lost her at age 18. Martin who replaced Romeow was hyper T and I crushed his Methamazole tab and he ate it in his wet food.
I had a freckled guy friend we called the spotted b s trd. Mike Snow is his real name. He was skinny and after 3 drinks...what an idiot! obie wan noxious
Cats are not pack animals, but are extremely territorial and tend to be more solitary by nature, which goes a long way to explaining the general sense of guarded uneasiness and malcontent expressed in the body language and temperament of most of the cats seen in this video clip. While they may accept the fact they don't need to worry about food, shelter, and litter boxes, the truth is that the vast majority of these cats secretly wish that most of their fellow "tenants" weren't there. Cats will tolerate the presence of one "playmate", and perhaps up to three additional playmates if the living space is large enough to be shared between them, but the mass residency seen in the video above is generally not their idea of a 'good time'. That is simply how cats think and act, by nature. That said, however, it is still great to see this cat sanctuary in operation so as to offer these felines a safe place to live and a good second chance at life. Hopefully these cats will all find good homes.
I wish SOMEONE would answer Mary's question here - it's an excellent question! Mary, if you haven't gotten an answer, do a search for a no-kill rescue facility near you that takes in older pets that may never be adopted. We recently got one in my area (St. Louis) called 2nd Chance Ranch. It is comforting for anyone at ANY age to know that if they are unable to care for their pets, they will still be looked after and safe❤️🐾
Rufus the cat/his eye crust /just take a pot of water and boil it then cool down and have a herbal tea bag or any and dip it into the warm water and swipe his eye from the inside of the corner of his eyes to the outside /do both eyes the same way every day at least morning and night /my cat got better in two days when her eyes started getting some liquid matting going on as if she was starting to get sick,she got well in two days and to beat it all she stays outside everyday and just comes in to eat,so I never know when I have a chance to help her on occasions like her eyes,she is a beautiful girl with swirls on her fur and tabby look,she is the neighborhood cat but she is our cat from the shelter.And for the antibiotics we use the garlic capsules in her food one 2 x a day.
