I’ve had a few different cats over the last 50~some years that have taught me to play catch with them too. Every cat was just bored & brought their ball or toy to me and set it between my feet. I ignored this and waited until each kitty picked it up & threw it at me, 😂 I just adore cats!

This is no joke cats are getting smarter, I taught my cat to use the toilet it only took a couple minutes, she actually pushed me off the toilet to use it. And she also loves rock and roll music she loves Van Halen and Metallica she'll jump off my bed when she hears me turn on some Van Halen and come flying into the living room sit right beside me with the ears pointed right at the speakers and When the Music's done she'll walk away. when I turn it back on she comes back over. but she also likes to listen to me practice my guitar and she's an indoor cat but I let her out every once in awhile and all I have to do is ask her to come back in the house and she comes right back in😎

I got my cat a Litter Robot. The manual suggested ways to get him used to it. I just set him in it and he used it immediately. The old box went out to the trash the next day.

I had a cat many years ago that was fascinated with the toilet and flushed it all the time. I was going to "train" him how to use it too, so I'd have less litter box mess. My ex and I decided though, we'd better not, because we only had one toilet and could just see him using it when we needed to (especially potty emergencies lol).
