In this video, Dr. Mike explains how the cell membrane maintains relatively stable internal conditions via the process of active transport of a named substance against a concentration gradient.
"Fats like mixing with other fats. They don't like mixing with anything associated with a charge". This is the best things I've discovered and I'll never forget it.
OMG! Dr. MIke, I can not thank you enough. I have not taken A&P 1/2 in 18 years. I am so grateful for your help please continue to teach your method of teaching is the only method I have been able to understand and retain!!!!!
Another fantastic job by the best teacher on the net! How about a video on channelopathies since most if not all diseases and symptoms are associated with these channels not working efficiently or not at all. So, of course, we know about genetic channelopathies such as cystic fibrosis, but not much in the literature about acquired channelopathies from drugs, chemicals, and metals that either block the channels or damage the cell membrane affecting the channels. Thank you, Dr. Mike, for making learning fun and exciting; you are the best...
I wish dr Mike was my teacher during nursing school …his explanation is clear, simple, short ..thank you dr Mike …
You are going to save me getting through my degree - THANK YOU!!!
