That would be a type 6 engine Great apparatuses We have them at the FDs I volunteered for in AZ one station called them Atrack units. we used them for wildland medical and( MVC) motor vehicle collisions. The other station we called them brush units used them for a variety of calls, mostly wildland and MVC . They are used in the other state I'm at for the moment they are great and depends on set up but can also fight structure fires and have hydrant connections. Tanks can vary from 150 to 350 gal.most of our type 6's was 300 one was 250. I really enjoyed the work we can do and rescue ops very monuvrabel in traffic and small tight areas. I never understood and still don't know why staes like NY don't use them more in Manhattan or Buffalo for medical calls ? Or small fires. It's 2022, NY. Wake up lol 😆 hell even LA has them, and smaller rigs like the Quint.
Gotta love the navigator lightbar!
