    Other than Apu, Skinner was probably the most developed non-Simpson character

      I agree! I also love Krusty's backstory with his dad. If they were gonna reveal someone to be an impostor they should've gone with Bumblebee Man or someone the audience doesn't have as much emotional investment in

    The Family Guy crossover was the last one I checked out, out of mild curiosity. Sigh.

      I think that was technically a Family Guy episode but I agree it was a swing and a miss, it just felt wrong to hear Family Guy's shock humour coming out of Simpsons characters' mouths

    No. The Musk episode/Lisa Goes Gaga is when the Simpsons inevitably died. The Principal episode was just them fiddling around.
