Good video … I particularly like how authoritative the police officers on horseback are … get them horses galloping towards them shouting get off the road will get them moving back on the pavement pretty sharply for sure ..
@@charlottecunningham2141 it’s called the sidewalk in your neck of the woods yes ? This why it’s very important for our American friends ..when visiting the UK to do your homework and learn the different terms to avoid getting shouted at by the police …😀
The band played for the old guard marching back from Buckingham Palace to barracks. Hence the bands duty is over and they march back to I think Wellington Barracks. They would have earlier accompanied the new guard up the Mall to BP. Meanwhile another band and soldiers would have done the same from WBarracks. To BP with new and return with old guards💂
So, what is going on here? They march from point A to point B while playing; they stand around point B for several minutes, then march back toward point A not playing. What was the point/occasion?
Changing of the guards at St James Palace. The band leads the new guard to st James from Buckingham palace. They stand around until the guards and officers do their thing then the band marches back to Wellington barracks silently
Oh my goodness those Guards only just moved through the green light and the light changed as the last Guards moved through. So many Police around to arrest them for going through a red light if they had not moved so fast.

As an American, I find it amusing when they tell people to get on the pavement only because here, pavement and road/street are the same things.

The horse was only trotting not galloping.
