you actually made my cry at the end of the vid :( you're going to be such an amazing doctor! sometimes i feel like doctors don't care as much, some of them seem like they don't even want to do the job... it's a terrible feeling when someone who is supposed to help you when you feel the worst, doesn't seem to have any compassion.
It’s sad that I’ve had similar experiences and that’s a main reason why I want to be a doctor someone who can be trusted and ask actual help for it’s sad that I was insecure in my doctors office and I don’t want anyone to think think like that and I’ll be there for them.
I have absolutely zero interest in becoming a doctor, yet I find myself here haha. You make these vlogs so damn interesting and funny! I don’t know how you operate as a person with little sleep, working all day and then coming home to study or do homework. I’m jealous

America, I can understand the anxiety of having to keep it together in front of your patients when inside, you feel like you are not good enough yet. Impostor syndrome is HORRIBLE. I am a surgical nurse student and every day I'm at the hospital it just feels like I am not qualified enough to be there, even though i KNOW I am! You are doing great. You belong where you are. You are the kindest and most uplifting person I have seen on youtube and will make a great doctor. Stay strong and we all know you will be AMAZING! It is all a learning process.

12:50 and on I relate to this so viscerally as I'm sure a lot of other medical students do. sometimes it feels daunting to think 'how will i ever know enough to treat/try to save someone's life'...in situations like this imposter syndrome hits hard... but we'll get there. an International medical student here. step 1 and step 2 CK are going to cost me $940 each, and $1,580 for step 2 CS (fees also increase annually). plus 200$ here and 350$ there... as administrative costs 🤷🏻♂️

When you become a doctor are you ever worried about how you won’t have much time besides work? I know it depends on your speciality but I’m just curious on what you think.
I’m studying for my NS2 block and was losing hope in myself, my abilities, feeling like I’m the biggest idiot in the world, thank you for showing me that 1- I’m not an idiot and it’s all in my head, and 2- I’m not alone, and a lot of other med students have been there before. MS1 here currently on exam countdown (15 hours now) and I just wanted to tell you how inspiring your videos have been this year. Your persistence and dedication to studying is super motivating when I'm exhausted and just want to give up and sleep. Sometimes (a lot of times lol) that's what it takes in med school, and seeing how far you've come is super motivating. Congrats on this milestone, and best of luck for Step 2!
