It sounds like the Playlist Ryder and Loudness Meter should go on the main outs. How would you use them with OBS since they don't have main out-that I've seen
You're right! In OBS, you can add the Playlist Ryder and Loudness Meter as filters to your microphone input. This way, you can achieve similar effects even without a main out.
Ok, I don't get it. You keep showing new tools to use to develop better audio. In fact, on the SAME EXACT DAY, you released two videos (Waves Audio & Mike Russel channels) promoting different tools for podcasts. -NS1 Noise Suppressor -VoiceCentric plugin -Playlist Rider -WLM Plus Loudness Meter -Waves Content Creator Audio Toolkit -MRC Audio Presets Previous video walked me through different ways to use Adobe Auditions built in tools to do many of the same things. I'm starting to get the feeling that you the best tool(s) for the job is the one that is currently sponsoring you. What am I missing here? Why promote multiple tools and methods that do the same thing? How do we decide which ones we should be using?
It’s just a demo for the benefit of having it on UA-cam. If someone wants to know how the Waves stuff works it’s here. If they want to use default plug ins, there’s a video for that. Personally, I like seeing what’s out there and hearing how different plug ins sound. I’m demoing the playlist rider right now, and it’s pretty good.
Hey Mike, thanks for this and the Waves tutorial elsewhere. Not sure why people are complaining. That said, legitimate question. Using these plugins in Reaper. Have my next episode sounding great. But obviously I'm not going to be sitting in the same exact position each week, my tonality and volume may be different; same with my remote host. So since you are having to adjust the gain of each track to get to acceptable levels in the plug-in (the green flashing light, for example), how do you get consistency from week to week without doing all these steps over and over? Thanks!
Hi David, you could either normalise the track and run in through match loudness before applying the plug in to get a uniform volume each week before processing further.
@@MikeRussell Thanks for this! By and large, we've just made sure to keep our microphone input levels the same week to week, and that's helped a lot. When we have a guest, I'll make adjustments, but overall, this has helped substantially. Thanks!
what is the difference between the vocal rider and the play list rider?
Thank you for highlighting this pretty awesome bundle, Mike. 😁 👌
Cheers mate! 🍻
👍
Good bundle, really the exact plugins u need for podcast or even voice over generally

Gonna buy this, it looks like it could really help save time. Thanks for the great tutorial Mike.
Hi mike! Could you do a hindenburg journalist tutorial and recommended plugins?
Thanks for the suggestion
Mike. You can also add the Alex Audio Butler Plugin in your next reviews. Hope you are safe. I’m a fan of you and izabela. 😍
Can I put Playlist rider in the Master mix on Logic?

Awesome dude! Ur tips r very handy. Stay blessed! ❤❤❤
does it affect the sound of the vocals
Mike does the Playlist Rider work while recording a podcast, or is it used in post, or both?
Hi Dan, you could use it while recording but depending on your set up it may increase latency so best to use in post.
Can it be used in garageband ios?
You would not be able to install this on an iOS device.
@@MikeRussell thanks for responding bro.👊👊
You’re welcome
awesomeness, Thank you!!
too bad, it came out late. I bought Izotope RX7 standard and Auphonic, and now I am broke.
they helped but FCP messed it up.
I wish it didn’t use the colors to designate whether it was in range. As a screen reader user, those are completely unusable for me.
And for a colourblind like me 😕
Are we live mike
NS1 colours the sound far too much for my like.
I found that too - I was wondering how different the Noise Reduction in Audition is to N1.
Every video is just an add, this shit don't help anyone.
