do you suggest buying wave clarity vx pro or whats the difference between waves vx and waves vx pro. Going to buy one of them after watching your video
The openvino effects are extremely good for Noise Reduction but when will I be able to preview VST effect in audacity so that I can change settings and then render because it’s extremely annoying
clarity VX is definitely much speedier, and good if you need your workflow to be quick, but to my hearing the isotope plug-in suite sounds a little bit better with less artifacting.
@@blindelectron the more I live, the more I realize this world is small, SPYW, remember that? I bet you probably do, I mean having a general predisposition for audio production/mixing/whatever doesn’t hurt, but still, pretty weird coincidence.
Clarity VX is great for quick results, especially when you’re trying to minimize time spent processing, think batch processing, doing some intensive editing , etc., while if you have one file and one file only, and you wanna get it perfect, I think dialogue isolate does the job 30 to 40% better.
Nobody would spend what RX costs just for noise reduction. That only makes sense for anyone wanting a serious audio restoration tool (not "noise reduction as your life"). Learned a lot from your videos Mike but the way you worded the outro there did seem like you were pushing the sponsor's product a bit. Clarity clearly appears to be a good tool for NR, based on your video - but it's not a comparable product to RX. I also have a de-reverb tool which I prefer to de-reverb in RX - but I wouldn't try and compare the 2 as products. Ideally people would demo the plugins over a few different use cases to make an informed opinion, not just 2 short samples of audio.
@@MikeRussell Why don't you compare it with RX 11? The Voice Isolate works without delay and as a standalone. It is also so much better than RX 10 and Clarity. Your comparison is total nonsense. It's obvious you want to push Wave. So you're not neutral. Well, RX has the Voice Denoise for real time live streaming. It works so much better than Clarity.
It's not really even close to my ear. You can hear artifacts and a doubling of the voice in the barber clip, like a slap-delay underneath the voice with the waves plugin.
Thanks for pointing that out! Audio quality can be tricky, and I appreciate your insights on the artifacts and doubling effects. I'll keep that in mind for future edits!
Sticking with Clarity Vx. After recording and editing the last thing I want to do is to tinker around with a plugin.
Totally get it, sometimes simplicity and ease of use trump all the extra features!
Do you do the noise removal before the ENCNL? Is it the first step? Thank you, Mike!!
Yep, noise reduction first always.

Waves noise reduction plugins are super easy and good to use.

Sorry to hear about that. Hope the experience gets better!
Clicked for the bright popping visuals, left pretty quickly because I already know these plug-ins pretty well.
Glad you enjoyed the visuals and thanks for stopping by even if the content wasn't new to you!
Why Adobe Audition not have 'Track Select Forward' tool for moving multiple clips in multitrack?
That's a great question! Adobe Audition has its own set of tools, and sometimes it can be confusing why certain features are missing.
Would either of these work for streaming purposes? As in real time voice analysis?
Clarity vx from Waves could do this.

Thanks for sharing your comparison experience, it's super helpful to know!
@@blindelectron wait… Electron 72?
@@meow_meow_J one in the same, why?

@@meow_meow_J yes I remember sbyw, but I still don’t know who you are.

Thanks for sharing your workflow and experience with Clarity VX and Dialogue Isolate, super helpful for anyone deciding between the two!
How about the Boris FX CrumplePop Complete??
I've used it too. Pretty good.
HI i love your videos!
Appreciate you!
Thank you for this.
You're welcome, glad you found it helpful!
IMHO, you should've used Spectral De-Noise in iZotope RX, doing the full procedure of "sampling" the noise first so RX can "learn".
Thanks for the tip, I'll definitely look into using Spectral De-Noise in iZotope RX for future noise reduction projects!
Can you make a video of Tracktion Waveform free daw
Thanks for the suggestion!
you should try these two tools emmy award winning dxrevive pro and supertone clear, are much better than those two in the video
Thanks for the recommendation!

I appreciate your honest feedback and totally agree that demoing plugins with different use cases is the best way to make an informed decision.
RX11????
I'm so glad you're excited about the RX11!

I would compare it to RX 11 and not RX 10. They had a massive upgrade to Dialogue Isolate and this comparison doesn't make sense otherwise
I completely understand. Thanks for the tip!
Thanks!
🔴In my opinion, voice isolation from Davinci resolve studio 19 seems to provide the best performance on the market in this sector.
Thanks for sharing your experience with DaVinci Resolve Studio 19, it's always great to hear about the tools that work best for creators.
