Thank you for this pattern and video, Janet. I attempted to make a couple of these yesterday and I am having an issue with the wreath wanting to not lay flat - the sides curl up like a bowl. Any suggestions on what I can do to prevent this?
@@suebaker5384 Yes, I had a couple testers run into that problem and the solution was that they needed to add more stitches around the ring for Round 1. You can also try more increases in Round 3 and see if that helps. I also tend to crochet loosely so that may affect things as well.
I have been watching many tutorials for small crochet Christmas wreaths, but none had written instructions. I have never crocheted with beads before. Your tutorial was clear and easy to follow. When I found out there was a pattern for it, I immediately went to your site on Etsy and got not only the wreath, but also the candy cane pattern. Thank you very much! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

@@simplyhookedbyjanet Thank you! I had thought I might need to increase more in the third round - I will try it.
Number of beads times two. That's what I started with. I used 18 beads for the medium sized ring i.e. 36 stitches in the first row,
I am happy to have found you on UA-cam! I don't Instagram or TikTok.
Thank you.
Great tutorial. When I finish the last slipstitch, I chain a hanging loop and sew in the ends.
: ) Perfect, I had testers do that as well.
