YO GIRL IS FINALLY BRAIDED UP! YASSSS! and we did passion twists!
So this is my first style in my 6 months protective style challenge! I know many of you are already braided up because you sent me pictures! I love to see it!

I had 2 packs originally and got scared so I went out and picked up a third back. I had a LOT of hair left over. I used all the 10/12'inches in two of the packs and one 10in in the third pack. I only cut one bundle of the 14in for the back because I though it would give a shorter look but my hair is getting too long for that now. Depending on the length that you want, you won't have to cut it and I think 2 packs will be enough.

Hey Jenn! I’ve noticed with our kinkier texture of 4C, when doing passion twists, using marley or afro kinky hair extensions to do passion twists is a better option so it won’t be so “wonky” and the twists are more springy 😂💀 but it still looks cute tho 🥰👏🏾
I’ve noticed that too which is why I used the shine & Jam all over my hair. I still loved the results though. It’s a different look ❤️

I'm joining the challenge, don't have 4c but I do want to see what my hair can do.
I've trimmed the ends before braiding my hair. At the moment my hair is in mini braids without extensions. Those mini braids I've braided up again into one cornrow and tucked the ends away. It has been like that for the past 2/2,5 weeks. I'll keep this in till the end of dec.
My goal is growing my hair out. I feel like it is healthy enough to focus on length now.

I thought I was late as I twisted up my hair on 2nd December...but I saw you were...umm...not prompt with it lol, so I stopped feeling bad. I did mini twists (been dying to try them out after I saw your previous quarantine/lockdown mini twists video). My hair is fine and not very dense so...they don't look as good as yours, but now they're in, they're not coming out for a good 2 weeks (until my birthday). My go to is protective styling throughout the year anyway, but I'm glad I get to share the joys! I'm done rambling now. Your passion twists look super cute!

How will you moisturize it? I had problems keeping my hair moisturized when I had them in only for 3 weeks. I wanted to leave them in longer but it seemed that as soon as I moisturized it that it the fake hair dried it out really quickly.

Love the passion twists! I know that you said that we can do this style but I don't know 😕. I'm not good at braiding or doing my 4c hair. I can flat twists my hair but it is not the best because either I'm doing wrap or wigs 😅
Girl if you can flat twists, you can do anything 🙃. You just have to practice 🙌🏽
