You gotta be kiddin’ me! I’m gonna say this is probably one of the most important videos about trading I’ve seen. Thank you John Boik for sharing your experience. The moral of the story here is “Don’t re-invent the wheel!” Talk about a jump start… My Kindle is being filled as I watch this. Unbelievably great! Thank you for having John on!

John Boik is absolutely right about "The Perfect Speculator" by Brad Koteshwar. That little book helped me better understand the importance of staying out of bad trading environments.
@@TraderLion I know you guys put alot of work into this, but wouldnt it be awesome to add a big chart with historic events, that we can frame on our wall. Boik said Roppel had it, and pointed out how good it is to have. It's actually also a sentence in HTMMIS where O'Neil also mention this.
Jon has the absolute best books in the business. no contest. thx for amazing content Richard, u doing a great job but i just wish u d be a bit more of a conversationalist, bouncing off what these legends say, being a bit less robotic (especially the head nodding lol). i know it s not easy and i can tell u are constantly thinking of the next questions, being a pro and smooth transitioning, still, it s good to get fan's honest feedback to improve. keep it up and good luck
When looking at the comments on any video for financial advice...NEVER consider taking advice from a profile with NO CONTENT, less than 5 subscribers, and NO track record. ANYONE pitching a person should be able to show a track record of something.
Yeah, all those types of comments are bots and scams, and unfortunately any financial channel is plagued with that crap. UA-cam does a terrible job at cleaning up the garbage.
This is just a general gripe - nothing personal as this guy and most of the guests here are amazing....but personally I switch off when traders start talking about what it was like when they started - I've heard hundreds of older guys explain how trading was before everything was online. Just a suggestion but maybe ask for just a super brief background - like 30 seconds.
Ah darn, I love hearing about their backgrounds, but I get it's not for everyone. We try to add detailed chapters so you can skip ahead to the parts that most peak your interest.
useless, this guy do not have any experience, why you post it? just to feed you subscribers with any talk about stock and make money on yourtube views? Unsubscribing

How many times of 100 have you heard “dad…” as the response to “how did you get started”?
At 1:18.09 John mentions a trader called Eve, does anyone know of her?
Yes, Eve Boboch
@@TraderLion Thanks I'll do some research.

For several years we have seen spammers pumping up Bitcoin in comments section also
