We are losing one of the greats. Halo Canon is one of the best Halo-based channels around, has been for years. While I support him and his decision, it's still a damn shame. Now we're left with copycat channels all posting videos with clickbait thumbnails, misleading video titles, and constant repetition. Halo Canon wouldn't ramble on for 15-30+ minutes in every video repeating himself over and over again trying to squeeze in as much revenue as possible, he just made quality content. He cared about the universe and the Lore, not the views. He wasn't overly biased, he didn't just shit on 343 over and over again, he simply made..content. What a concept, right?

*sigh* We'll all miss Halo Canon, he was a great Halo UA-camr, he was an amazing UA-camr on it's own. He now walks his own Great Journey, and now we must walk our own Great Journey. Things will never be the same, but even Chief changed during Halo, so we must change and adapt like the Flood. This is a big change for us, but like water we ebb and flow. The loss of Halo Canon hits us hard, but we live on. And we'll carry the buring embers of his channel forever more. Long live the community and may we carry the light of Halo for many years to come.
And like the Gravemind we shall listen through rock and metal and time, until he returns xD

Although sad to see Halo Canon stepping down I'll never forget the videos he made for the Lore both the games and books to collaboration with other Halo UA-camrs.

I’m fairly new to Halo as a fan. But Halo Canon has always been a huge help in understanding throw wider universe (along with a few others.) with parts I didn’t quite understand I sometimes have a hard time processing information and your videos have always been easy to understand.
You take care of you man. Whatever the future holds for you I wish you the best.

I think everyone right now who has a passion for a franchise is being let down. Not only are people dealing with internal/external obstacles of daily life, but now having our means of escape becoming a let down as well can be very taxing on one's mental stability. These companies are so invested in the bottom line that they forget the people who gave them their power to be where they are at right now and the companies continue to push out nonsensical ideas and straight garbage. With no means of escape for anyone these days, it's difficult to push through the mud.
Halo is no different, especially looking at the TV series. The community used to be so involved and united, now it's disputes and divided from the believers of what halo can become and those who follow what the companies have tarnished and now push forward. One day I hope the series will get back on it's feet, one day I hope halo canon will return. I didn't get to enjoy the time with HC much since I only came to UA-cam since 2019. But I've loved every bit of the deep dives into lore outside of the games and since I haven't played a game since halo 4, I've only had the videos and other media recommended by HC to keep me going.
I hope HC can find comfort and relief in whatever new beginnings may present themselves in the future and I hope this will one day rejuvenate the spirit and allow HC to once more become a voice for the halo community.

Again I’m hoping everyone takes this as to heart. 344 has another victim. I really think the other creators should move on and talk about a game that actually matters now. Halo is gone we aren’t getting it back and in the coming years everything we love about halo will torn apart.
