That’s the only way to do it my friend. Seems like you’re on the right track. Consistent and dedicated commitment to getting better everyday. Good luck, rooting for ya.
Hearing this gives me some hope lol; I started playing goalie in 8th grade (I'm in 9th now) we went undefeated and had the least amount of goals scored on us within however long My coach had been coaching middle school. Keep up the content. Big things in the future for you hopefully.
@@AmericanProfessional1 There's a competitive league where I'm at with teams from our state and some other close ones competing it's a tournament team and I was asked to play. This will be my first time in competitive. If you were ever in any tournaments, do you have any tips for preparing?
Bro it seems like we had very similar paths only I quit senior year of high school to focus on academics and it's really been worth it in terms of life, but it's so inspiring to see where you've gotten, even with how late you made your decision. Keep up the hard work brother, MLS coming soon! 🤙🏼
Great Video, no one in my u-18 team want to be a goalkeeper, if we play a match we always bring 2nd senior gk if he not busy, but if he busy we pay gk from another team. Love from Indonesia.
Incredible! Starting so late and becoming pro. You are also example that you don't have to be insanly tall to be goalkeeper (I checked your height and it's just 6'1).
I'm in the same situation, 19 years old, first year of college, I realized I want to go pro, my only problem is that I need a good scholarship in the states, because here in Mexico college soccer doesn't compare with college soccer in the US
I understand that. It about finding the best pathway forward that suits your interest to the fullest. Good luck my friend. The journey is long and hard, but worth it in my opinion.
I’ve definitely modeled many aspects of my game off of ter Stegen. Reaction series starting again this week, I’m sure I’ll get to a vid of reacting to him very soon. Thanks for the support friend.
I started training side volleys at 16 yo. Wouldn’t say I mastered them until about 24/25 yo. It’s a process and I don’t have a simple solution for you other than keep trying to simulate the technique from guys like Ederson, apply what you can to your style and work at it everyday. No other solution. Good luck my friend and thanks for the comment
Short keepers are becoming more relevant year by year. I believe the reason for this is actually a result of advanced ball development. Aka. Because the balls are becoming lighter and more round/better quality, they tend to swerve and move more than an old school leather ball. This is causing trouble for bigger goalkeepers as they can’t make the small adjustments necessary in the air to make some important saves. Thanks for the comment. Hope that answered your question.
The rona hit us all in the soccer world pretty hard. Here’s to hoping things get back to normal sooner rather than later. Thanks for the comment my friend.
love the content but I would suggest using a different intro or maybe no intro at all to make your content look more professional etc. anyways great video!!
I believe that the majority of us start out as “average”, that’s what the word itself means, to be similar to the majority of others and not stand out. I think you will start to stand out and become “not average” once you start training and working to improve on a daily basis. Pro soccer players that experience great careers work all day everyday to get better and improve on their weaknesses. If you do that as well, there is no telling how successful you can become. Hope that helps.
@@AmericanProfessional1 yeah that's a perfectly reasonable proposition and your opinion is very valuable as a professional that's playing at a high level. Keep up the good work!
I was an outlier for sure. Most start around your age committing full time to the position. Definitely have a leg up on me. Thanks for the comment friend.
My transfermarkt profile that states my skills as a goalkeeper are worth 110$k a year, and the subsequent money I’ve been paid as a result over the past 6 years, would beg to differ. But, you’re entitled to your own opinion and that’s cool, so thanks for the comment. All the best my friend.
Imaging being able to play as yourself in FIFA 22
Is a fun concept to imagine. I’m terrible at fifa though, I think I’d rather be an operator in call of duty. Thanks for the comment.
Great video, I’m 14 looking to go pro, grinding everyday and hopefully one day I can achieve my goal, thanks for the video great motivation

Any chance you could do a video of those three drills that your coach gave you to improve every day?
I can. I’ll note it for a future video. Thanks for the love my friend, stay tuned.
12:27 can u make a video on those drills
Yessir. I’ve gotten a bit of interest in those drills in the comments so I’ll definitely note it for a future vid. Thanks for the support.

Glad you enjoyed. Yes, I’ve always had to rely on quickness, and smarts, to outcompete bigger goalkeepers. All the best my friend.
The video I've been waiting for
Appreciate the love. Hope you enjoyed.
A very insightful vid, Mack. All the best to your post-covid journey
Thank you sir. Glad you enjoyed. Appreciate the love.
What a player! Quality content , my man is on the up!!🙌🏽🙌🏽
Correct - that is me beside the famous man ( holding the trophy )
Who is that monster in the gym with the 22 on?
It’s like you’re my boy or something? Weird...
Him: not a clue
Me: this changes everything :D

What is your opinion on short keepers could they make it to A Pro Level ?

You could actually make it to lafc they need a goalie like you or a other really big team your amazing in goal
Humbled by the kind words. No one knows what the future holds, I’m just enjoying the moment. Thanks for the comment, and happy holidays.
Bit late but would a collab with Ben foster (the cycling goal keeper) be possible?
Who knows what the future holds. But I’d absolutely love to do a collab with Ben. Seems like an excellent guy.
i use to play goalkeeper and was good but corona hit and i lost my touch sadly
now i just play mid

What's your opinion on being a teenager that's average in terms of ability? Like do you think they can eventually make it.
