In this video we will be doing our first air suspension install on a 5th gen camaro SS. The air suspension bags are from maxlord but the managment and wiring is from airlift airsuspension. Airlift also sells the complete kit and installation is exactly the same!

Thank you for this detailed video. If this existed when i got my bags 3 years ago i wouldn't have paid an installer lol. I have a 2013 Camaro 2SS. My bags are the Airlift performance series and i went with two 444C compressors. Dual compressors cut the fill time tremendously.
Also, for anyone reading, I'd suggest purchasing SMC check valves. They can be disassembled and cleaned vs having to buy new ones when the stock viair valves go out. They also fair better in cold weather.
Another recommendation would be to buy an electric drain kit. With my camaro i used to have to climb to my backseat to purge condensation from the tank and water trap. That got old fast.
The drain kit allows you to purge with a push of a button at anytime. You connect it to the bottom of tour tank, then to a 12v source. Run the supplied airhose from the device to the outside of the car to dump the water out. Also makes a cool sound louder than airing out.
Sometimes i get a kick out of pressing the button in parking lots and watching people jump and/or turn their heads at the sound 😅After adding the kit ,whenever I check my water trap its bone dry.

Would you happen to know how much weight this system adds to this platform?
Not much at all. I have a 2013 Camaro 2SS, and the air suspension struts are lighter than stock struts. I mean, waaaay lighter.
The bags also weigh less than the springs. So that's weight reduction right there. I have a 4 gallon air tank that weighs about 5 lbs. I do have two 444c viair compressors. They are approximately 42 lbs together. The manifold/ brain of the system under 5lbs.
Of course the air lines weigh about as much as speaker wire. Your looking at approximately 52 lbs but again with the weight shaved off on all 4 corners, I'd say it either evens out or slightly reduces weight. Though you do lose some trunk space.
Im not a fan of sound systems, but if you want one, 12" subs are out of the question with a camaro trunk on airlift. You'd have to get 8" or 10" subs in single boxes.
