For anybody trying to run some wires through the fire wall where the big red power wire is. No need to drill next to the power wire.There is a rubber grommet about 2 inches above the power wire that you can’t see , you are able to pop it out fairly easy and fish your wires through.

Hey bro when you changed the lower control arm on your FX37, was you getting vibrations at high speeds? I get it at 80 and higher with factory and aftermarket wheels. There's no bumps or thuds going over bumps. I've replaced the sway bar bushings, links and inner and outer tie rods. My next guess is a wheel bearing might be bad.

I just replaced the motor in mine, and the reason why the secretary intake runner screws came a loose and then it adjusted a valve in the number 4 cylinder. I'm thinking that the screw must go first and that's what causes the oil consumption. This happens a lot with Nissan's and their intake runners needing to be loctite. I'm not sure why Nissan just make it a massive recall for all their engines but they should. I just walked in the FX motor which does come with the aluminum for not mistaken valve covers and we took my intake runners off and put on that one and then take one of the valves and locktite all the screws. My car wasn't burning a lot of oil at all until that happened and then the massive failure that happened a couple of months ago and I was at 208k mi... My mileage avg 17-19, hwy 23-25. But I love maleficent and so I went ahead and did what I had to do cuz I'm not ever getting rid of her semicolon she'sobe of my dream cars. Next one will probably be at 09 to 2010 M35, or preferably the q70170L 3.7 XS with sport package and awd. Sorry you're leaving us Chriz.

That's a cool looking mod. I have been looking to upgrade my own shift knob on my 2014 370Z Sport Touring Coupe with an automatic trans in it. I love the automatic and think it actually drives better than the stick shift. I drove both and to me, it just was a little easier to drive and still gave great performance for street use. I never track my Z and only use it as a Grand Tourer (GT) type of car and weekend toy for spirited drives in the Colorado Mountains. The 370Z shines as a GT car and is very comfortable on long drives. My wife and I have been taking weekend trips and day trips in it for years now and it is a fun car for that purpose. I only have 20,000 miles on mine after ten years and the car looks, smells, and drives like a brand new car. It's only been garage kept and well maintained from day one. I still get all kinds of comments on how good it looks, even after ten years which blows me away. I am a detailer so it has always been buffed, polished, waxed, and very well maintained and it is in better than new condition still. I like the stock Z and have never done anything other than the factory Nismo lowering kit from Nissan. The stock Z in automatic trim is a nice car to take on long drives, especially in heavy traffic because you aren't constantly changing gears. I am getting a little older so not having to constantly change gears, but still be able to drive my sports car is a plus for me. And it's a fairly cheap and reliable sports car, especially if you get one on the aftermarket. The problem with the aftermarket Z's, is way too many of them have been THRASHED by the previous owners so you never know if you are getting a zonker/money pit or not. If you get a good one, go for it. They are wonderful cars. Other than the normal routine maintenance, which I have always done on time and at the Nissan dealership, the only thing I have ever had to do maintenance wise is put tires and brake pads on it after ten years. And that was only because I wanted all season tires (I use Continental DWS06+ here in Colorado) because we have crazy weather here in Colorado and you never know if its going to snow, rain, hail, sleet, or everything in between at a moments notice. You have to be prepared in this state. I have been caught several times out with my 370Z on a nice sunny day thinking it was a great day to take the car out on a long drive, only to go places where it's totally different and snowing and icing. The stock Potenza tires were HORRIBLE in the wet weather. Dangerous in fact if you don't know what you are doing with a 370Z. Far too many people wreck their cars here in Colorado because they have no idea how to handle their vehicles in the snow. 99% of them going way too fast for conditions and they lose it smashing up their brand new car! No sir, just get some great all season tires if you live near bad weather. That is the first mod YOU MUST make if you want to be safe. Trust me. Get good all season tires if you plan on ever driving your Z in bad weather, and especially if you are going to daily it, no matter where you live because you need that extra safety measure on slick roads. The back end of the 370Z, being a rear wheel drive car with pretty good power numbers WILL come out on you faster than the Road Runner runs away from Wiley E. Coyote in the cartoons! No joke. That's it's biggest fault probably is the fact that the back end is very squirrely at times, even on dry roads, let alone anything that is wet, slick, black iced over, has leaves all over the macadam in the fall, any kind of ice, snow, etc. YOU NEED GOOD ALL SEASON TIRES! I would recommend either the Continental DSW06+ or Pirelli Cinturato SF3. Unless of course you are going to go with specific summer and winter tires you change by the season. But that's not really an option if you get caught in weather that's gonna bite you which happens a lot here in Colorado because of rapid elevation changes wherever you drive here pretty much. I live at 6,000 feet elevation, but it's not uncommon to wind up at 10,000 to 11,000 feet elevation and it can be perfectly sunny at the bottom of the mountain, and snowing and icing like hell at the top of the mountain. So when you have to go "up and over" the mountain passes, you really need to be prepared for any type of weather. I have seen so many videos on 350/370 owners who wreck during bad weather, most likely because either 1), They didn't know how to handle their Z in the first place, or 2), They have the wrong tires for the weather they are driving in! Trust me, you don't want to get caught in a situation that you can't get back out of. It happened to me once, but thank god I was able to back down the mountain about a a mile VERY slowly backwards on a really steep grade. My car couldn't make it up and over the pass on a super steep grade so I had no choice but to stop, and very gingerly back down the mountain road over a mile to a place I could safely turn around. Again, thankfully no other vehicles were around because it was a state road with tractor trailers using the road, etc. How hard is the stock automatic shifter to remove? I would love to put one of these or even the Nissan Nismo stock automatic transmission boot knob since it has the red leather line going through the middle of it. The only other mod I want to do now is the exhaust and putting JDM style checkerboard floor mats inside it front and rear hatch area.

To remove the filler cap you have to slip a thin flat blade between the metal post and the very thin and shallow plastic latch. Don't be completely on either side of the metal. You have tobe on the inside of the metal and get between the two pieces and lift the plastic piece off of the metal.

Got my JB4 hooked up and feel the difference but can’t get the app to connect to my kit 🤦🏾‍♂️ and yes I have the Bluetooth piece , idk what’s wrong with the app connection 😔

Noticed on the startup. Sounds great, but cranks with a lag. I have an ‘08 M45, changed to an X2 AGM battery in last winter. Consistent EXPLOSIVE start, then purs. Can’t even tell it’s running. Love mine too. Thanks for the video.

Don’t ever use aftermarket parts! They don’t last. The oem will last the life of the car.

I went from a 2017 QX70 to a 2011 FX50S. No comparison. All the Aftermarket support that you need on a FX50 is a rear mount turbo and tune at 9psi for over 700hp

So I don't hear any sounds coming from my car, but there is vibration at 75 and up, and it pulls to the left. Tires has been rebalanced ,still the same problem. Did you experience any of this ? I'm guessing at this point,I'm about to change out the sway bar bushings, tie rods and sway bar links.

You are the only person that primes your oil filter media when changing oil. I wish more people would follow your procedure. Great video with lots of information that answers a lot of questions regarding oil coolers.

I have a 2008 M45 with <90k BUT has valve train or timing chain problem. Prior owner must have run it low on oil or something. Great car, Great condition otherwise. Brand new Goodyears. In Bakersfield CA. Anybody want to tackle rebuild or replacing this engine? I'm too old... For sale.

i wired mine up n everything works except for the controller. it doesn’t turn on when i put the car into accessory mode or fully on but if i plug it in any usb port it turns on. not sure why it doesn’t turn on tho
