Lighthouse one. I think James is dead that's why he's been very "quiet" maybe that's why Williams (a marine tough guy) was crying too. 2 of 3 life vests missing means 2 men left with it. The storm was just a cover up, didn't happened. Theory is they murdered James, dumped him somewhere and escaped. Question is why?

You know that they don't have the worlds crappiest camera, but the person who is capturing the footage zoomed all the way in to try to get a picture of what the UFO would look like. This is stupid because the UFO can speed away easily. So the blame is not on the camera, but the person who is taking the footage.
The lighthouse story is very likely to be because of mercury poisoning due to large amounts of it being in the light mechanism itself. It used to be a big problem, people becoming very ill both mentally and physical. Alot of lighthouse keepers ended ut getting mercury in their food and tobacco after coming in contact with large amounts of it, and lack of hygiene.
Not sure if this is the case, but compared to what I have read about light house keepers in the past, it might explain the imagination on the one writing the diary.
Agreed, if not specifically mercury (but I do agree that's most likely) there was some other agent that likely caused hallucinations, etc. and caused them to act out unnaturally, likely causing them to walk into the ocean, etc.

There is a huge military antenna receiver near Chernobyl which was used in the 80's. Its transmitter made a sound and was called, which is also the nickname for the phenomenon, the woodpecker. It was used to scan for incoming missiles (if missiles were spotted, they couldn't defend against them, but they could choose to launch a counter-attack).
I think this buzzer thingy is a similar construction

The buzzer part is almost certainly used to keep the channel open for them only, so that no one else can broadcast on it. By continually transmitting the buzz they can then switch to the likely coded messages that are sent to people out in the field. The buzz isn't the mystery, the "why" is.

The light house incident isn't exactly true. An investigation revealed the logs were a fictional addition to the actual story. More over at the time of this incident, when the relief party arrived on the eastern side of island everything seemed normal but the western side was completely destroyed by extremely strong winds. Unfortunately the lighthouses supply rail came through from the western side and all of that was utterly destroyed. By destroyed I mean, the rails were bent. If the wind was strong enough to bend steel then it could definitely blow people away.
There is a lot more proof pointing towards there being really bad weather, a steamer passing through the area on 15th December 1900 noticed the lighthouse wasn't operational. They docked at the nearest port on the 18th and reported the incident. The relief ship that was supposed to leave by the 20th couldn't do so because the weather was exceptionally bad and they only reached on the 26th.

I first saw this and part 2 nearly 5 years ago, and I still like watching them every few weeks or so. Lemmino’s slightly more ominous voice in both of them is mesmerizing. Thanks for the years of entertainment, Lemmino. From your top 10 lists to your fantastic mini documentaries, and even your music, the quality has always been top notch.
I’m rewatching some of Lemmino’s old vids cause I love every vid he makes, hence the late comment. For anyone that is interested in the lighthouse story, there’s a 2019 movie out with Gerard Butler called The Vanishing that’s about the story. It’s fiction cause no one knows what really happened, but it’s a decent watch if you want to check it out.

My theory about number 6: tom may have wrote about the storm as a means of a cover up or maybe a reference to his insanity or anger due to minimum communication. "James have been very quiet" maybe this means James died, by fault of himself or Tom. William may have been crying because of his dead friend. Both men grabbed a jacket for themselves, left the lighthouse, James wrote in his journal (storm is over. God is all over" as a refreshing to drowning themselves taking James' body with them. They may have committed this act because of little communication, making them mildly insane or depressed and the loss of their friend. This is not my theory, I saw a comment and just added to it.

Maddie MBX The remarks about James and Tom were actually fake. The actual log says nothing of the sort. And truth be told, there actually were a storm which is why rescue took so long to arrive. What’s believed to happened is that perhaps two of the three men were investigating a part of the island but unbeknownst to them, there was a large wave incoming. The third guy who was alone inside of the lighthouse (as the policy dictated that at least one person must remain in the lighthouse), was probably eating a meal but then noticed the incoming wave and rushed out to warn the other two. In the process knocking over the chair and grabbing one of the rain coats. However he failed to warn the two others in the time and the wave then consumed all 3 of them.

Idk it seemed sort of obvious that the lighthouse thing was simply one of the guys murdering the other 2, if their truly was no storms in the area, most likely one of the 3 murdered the other two, faking this out with writing things like "there is a storm" then getting rid of the lifevests in an attempt to have it look like the storm had perhaps killed them, but later committed suicide due to the fear of being accused, i mean there is seriously little to no way a lone person with 2 others would not be prosecuted for murder considering these 3 mens experience (that they wouldn't possible die/casted in to the ocean) stupididly due to the storm.

I went to the Medical school and we had one of that "dolls" for practicing CPR. Every "doll" in the world is named Anne, after little girl who drowned in Sena river in Paris, and first CPR is tried on her in order to save her life. Supposedly, after this, CPR tehnic started to develop. This is the story that we heard from our professors.

I think I know what the lighthouse one is. One lifeguard(whatever they were) was drowning, so the other 2 went out to save him, hence the two missing life jackets. On lifeguard was eating and rushed out for the drowning one, knocking over the chair on his way. They all died trying to save the drowning one.

It's not uncommon for people to put on a shell or mask for others to see, only to 'take it off' in private (or when they think no one is around) and possibly break down a little. Meanwhile the storm may have been due to microclimates? It's not impossible for a localised storm to occur. I've heard of the mystery of the Flannan Isles, and let me tell you now, they are remote like fuck. About 20 miles at high tide between the islands and the Outer Herbrides, even further to the coast of Scotland.

Sorry if this is confusing, Russian is very hard to translate. The people in the video seem worried because they found an intruder in their system(?) if thats a way to put it. This isn't very threathening though because the operators are just very confused about what to do. You would expect people working in the military to know how to deal with pirates. I am far from an expert, but I don't think it takes a lot of power to transmit a radio signal. I remember learning about a guy in the 1920s who ran a radiostation all across the states from his garage (The station was called 8XK if you want to research it). I might have ruined the fun but thats just my theory ^-^

Some professor at oxford I think actually translated the majority of the book. I don’t remember exactly how he did it but basically he found letters from various other ancient languages throughout the text and used those to translate. So it was kind of like an amalgamation of various languages. It ended up being an ancient medical/agricultural guide of sorts.
