What an awesome job in CAD. I have a formal education and a working experience, I could probably repeat this, but still, standing ovation

@@geode_rc I use NX, which is one of the best, I think. Can I ask how you've made the fuselage? Especially the wing blend

@@Zoey_the_Rat I use “sweep 2 rail” …. Treat wing and fuselage as one piece. See video in CAD section for details.

@@geode_rc I am just planning to buy a 3d printer - main objective should be printing of rc-models... as i still need some time for flying ... i would not like to go to deep into the printing itself (if not needed...) - currently i am considering a ender 3 s1 pro or an elegoo neptune 4 pro ( open source klipper os - of any help ?) - would you mind to share a quick opinion / recommondation on a beginners printer for mainly rc models ?

@@slofly I'm probably not the most qualified person to answer your questions. But, following are the questions I'll ask myself before my next 3d printer purchase..... 1) Slicer: open source (Cura, Prusa, etc) or proprietary (Bambulab); 2) RC model: make sure the 3d print file formats are compatible with your preferred slicer (for example some slicer do not support thin-wall designs), 3) Filament: if you want to print TPU or LW-PLA, better with direct drive extruder. If you want to print less common materials (CF enforced filament, Nylon, etc.) make sure the print bed & hot end can support the temperature needed, 4) Spare part source/support, 5) User group - where you get help from... ==> hope these help 🙂

@@sloflyI started with the same intentions as yours, My advice is, if you really love this hobby and you are sure you will use the printer to fully get the most of it for RC Hobby, do yourself a favor, save money and get a proper printer. I Bought a Prusa MK3s+ years ago, it costs me twice as an Ender but It was just like a plug and play experience for me, many 3D printed RC models Companies out there use mostly Prusa printers and often they provide ready made G-Codes for them. Now If would start again I will consider Bambu Labs printers. I Know many would disagre with what I told but this is my opinion and I don't wont to offend anyone. I know ender printer and many like it can get the job done but the cheapest ones have to go through to a lot of calibration etc, Yes..I the end you will be an accomplished 3D printer Guru because you will learn a lot of things this way, but for me I prefer to print, assemble, and get to flying with minimal fuss as possible.
