I’m loving these anti-hauls! I really appreciate that you give your reason as to why it’s not working in a way that is still respectful to the artist ✌️
I'm so enjoying watching all of these anti haul videos, they are so fun 💖 As someone who works alot with the Wildwood Tarot I can definitely confirm that it threw me originally due to the much slower pace that was required to bond with the deck. It's one of those decks that demands you forge your own relationship with the cards as the history and back knowledge isn't there like other tarot systems. But what I've found, is that it is that which has made it so personal to me and I now think of it as my ancestors deck. I feel like it truly has helped me unlearn what I thought I knew about myself, and the world around me, to rebuild a much deeper and more meaningful relationship with all of it. It's an awesome deck for using at the beginning of the year in a wheel of the year spread and having a month to get to know each of those 12 singular energies intimately. It was helpful hearing that you had this struggle with it as I feel so much better that it wasn't just me hahaha.
I love the wild wood tarrot but you are right. My collection is pretty small and I have the time to study the deck a bit more. I love the anti haul videos!!!😍
These videos you made are so helpful. I love how gentle you are and respectful of the ones that you do not choose. You have a more cutesy wootsey taste than I do, but I enjoy expanding my tastes and I seem to agree with almost every one of your choices. Thanks!
You did a very lovely and respectful review. I've enjoyed recently finding you. It's also is helpful to really see so many different decks shown and explained, which you cannot get trying to see a few cards on Amazon. You opened a whole new world of decks, and the why and why not of having them. You work well with the camera, and it is a joy to experience your lilting laughter and light hearted approach to what you love to do. Blessed Be
Lisa: "I hope you have something to do like fold your laundry" Me: *Stares at my intimidating pile of laundry that is yet to be folded* "Uh... dang it, alright"
Excellent Lisa. So helpful for a newbie on a budget. Nice to know even seasoned (sorry) Tarot collectors do not love every deck. And you do keep me awake in the afternoon. I bought Crystal Visions and wanted to like it, but no. It got returned, Felt it was too flat.
This is insanely entertaining. I love how you show the deck you are more drawn to also.. I was very into Tarot in my late teens into my mid twenties. Life took some intense turns and am only now getting back to Tarot and Oracle's after 35+ years. I cannot believe the choices and what's out there and available with the internet. Forty years ago it was difficult to find decks unless you could get to a city. I feel I want everything. How in the world do so many of you afford all these decks? I can maybe afford one every three months so the hardest part is deciding what to get and the order. Anyway, you have lovely energy.. I also enjoy your enthusiasm for the books and reviews on those too. Thanks and will continue to watch.💜🌈
It can be so overwhelming!! I remember what it was like to not have an easy time finding decks or a very good selection. If I could give any advice it would be to go slowwwww. It can be SO tempting to buy all the things... so I"d say give yourself time to savor!! :D
Love this anti-haul video! Like you, Brady tarot has my heart forever - it is such a special deck. It's my soul deck for sure and not one for day to day work for me, and I will never read for others with it - can only use it for myself. BTW, Emi just finished her second kickstarter for a new, borderless (!!) edition in a regular size box, and of course I backed it. In case you didn't know, she also came up with some wonderful extras for that kickstarter, like candles, reading cloth, altar cards and more. I believe she plans on making them available on her website sometime in the spring of 2020. Re: the Space Within tarot - you are so right about it having this wonderful masculine energy in the best possible way. I adore working with it becuase it's so grounded and clear, yet somehow allows my intuition to just fly and deliver some amazing insights. It never lets you down, and it's a great one to use both for yourself and for other people. If you ever change your mind about that deck, you may find it an excellent addition to your collection.
I have and adore Tarot of a Moon Garden because it was the first deck I chose for myself as a child; however, you are spot on with your critiques, and I totally agree with your opinions on it! I only reach for it now because I formed such a bond with it in my early tarot days. I think if U.S. Games decided to reprint in a bordlerless edition, I'd be thrilled, but it's still lacking in some other ways. I really appreciate how you provide an alternative that works for you for each deck. Your video has inspired me to think about my collection, most of which I don't want any more, and think about other decks that can meet my needs. Thank you for this refreshing video. :)
I watched this whole damned video and looooved it! That Art Revival deck really is stunning. Thanks for continuing this series; watching antihauls is so much fun 💖
Hands down Spirit Within over the one you chose. I just love that deck it’s so clean and uncluttered and the messages are so clear. It’s not that costly..... you should definitely get it!!!
Loved this video and the whole concept of an anti-haul. Sometimes I think our community gets so caught up in the hauls and buying stuff so it’s a really cool point of view and point of focus. Thank you for talking about the alternatives that work for you and still being totally respectful to creators and artists.
I SO enjoyed this! I especially appreciated the deck alternatives you mentioned, I would love to see more videos of this kind on tarot tube. Thank you 🌿🦄💜🐞
Tarot of Delphi may go for reprint once she's done with Majestic Earth tarot. The creator is incredible and sent me the 7 of Wands when it went missing from my ToD. You should definitely go for it when it comes back! It's my favorite!
I love the artwork of the wildwood tarot. I took out some cards, and since there are key words on them, I use it as an oracle deck, not as a tarot. That works for me. 🌺
I had put the Crystal Visions Tarot on my anti-haul list, but the fact that you described it as “90s fantasy art” may mean it gets moved off of that list back to the to-buy list again. I hadn’t thought of it, but I’m definitely seeing the Mercedes Lackey book cover kind of vibe now 🤣
I've been following your videos since you started posting that you've become apart of the UA-cam community on Instagram. I love your videos. I love that you have a bajillion decks lol I love that you do these particular videos because you not only talk about the decks that don't work with you, but you also do decks that you reach for instead. Like the ones you choose not to buy because you have ones that already fit the bill. You are very gracious on how you go about explaining things, you don't overpower your opinion on others and I love you and your videos for that very reason. Please continue to make more!
Aw thank you so much for commenting and for following my content all this time! ❤ I really appreciate your feedback on how i'm coming across because that is definitely the goal!
Since I began studying Tarot 7 years ago I"ve been searching for a deck that was a full playing cards deck with the Knights and majors included. THANK YOU! I will now purchase the Dead on Paper Arcana Deck. LOVE IT THANK YOU MAA'M! ♥
I love your anti-haul videos. Omg, The Spacious Tarot ...I did that same thing you did with the other deck, I ordered and cancelled. I know I will get it eventually, but I decided to wait to for now.
I really appreciate the honesty and respect you give to decks, even if they are regrettable. Well and mindfully done! I'll be back (with laundry perhaps) to watch the rest later.
Thanks for your kind words about Spirit Within! I love these videos because, like you, I think so much more about what I buy these days. Even if we love something, it doesn’t always get used. And Chris’s tarot is fab too!
Aw! I'm sure I'm going to end up buying it one of these days. I love it every time I handle it, and I've noticed my collection and tastes evolving a lot over the past couple of years. Also, I can't WAIT to buy your Tarot book! I saw it in person recently and it immediately went on to my wishlist. It looks brilliant!
Supportive Tarot with Lisa I’m going through decks to sell at the moment. There are many I like a lot but know I’ll probably not use. I love your idea of passing up a new deck in favour of something you have already. And thanks! I hope you like the book if you get it! I’ve had such lovely feedback about it which is really warming. 😊
Ooohh! Thanks for mentioning the Revival Art Deck! I haven't seen it yet but it looks gorgeous and it should scratch that annoying itch I have for Tarot of Delphi! At one point I thought I would pay OOP price for Delphi but haven't been able to bring myself to do so. It's sooooo expensive! :O
Got up off of the sofa and came to the laptop to let you know how much I love your anti-haul videos. Even though you kept saying it was really long, you kept it moving and I found it very interesting all the way to the end. Also, I've figured out that you and I have very different tastes for the most part in decks. That's helpful to know as I pay attention to your "dislikes". A couple of points: Crystal Tarot - a favorite of mine and if you haven't already, you need to watch Kelly Ferguson's video on Picard minors. The Crystal loosely uses those. Also, I think in this case you did yourself a disservice by trimming as that deck needs the borders to create space between cards in a spread. Healing Light Tarot and Spirit Within Tarot - also two favorites that I own and use quite a lot. Spirit Within has a very different energy and feel to Healing Light. As the name implies, I use Healing Light for shadow work and other healing applications with clients while Spirit Within is more of a relaxed everyday, general reader. Hope this helps. Thanks for all of your work; it's much appreciated!
Thank you SO much for taking the time to leave this comment! I love getting this kind of feedback. I totally agree about the trim on the Crystal Tarot - it definitely needs borders, and I will look up Picard minors - thanks for the tip! I may one day get the Spirit Within - it is so lovely. And EXACTLY!!! I love finding people with opposite tastes for the same reason! Much love.
Surprised you have not spoken about the Voyager tarot. I have the old school second edition and its astounding. Really good for journey readings and with meditation is so image rich. It can be overwhelming and chaotic for some.
The Voyager Tarot is really a cool and unique deck. The reason I never picked it up is that I associate that deck with the first ever Tarot reading I received, which was given to me by a dear friend who passed away a year or two later, very unexpectedly. I simply see it as HER deck, and I'm cool with that! It is really special though and it's so cool that it can still be purchased easily! It really has stood the test of time.
I watch to the end. Love seeing all of them. Haven't even heard of half of them. Probably because I purchase most of mine from local metaphysical shops. I spend hours in them. I love being in the energy. Lol. Gonna start looking at kickstarter now, though.
I love your videos! The worst decks that I regret buying are indeed the notorious Mystic Monday (which I'd rather refer to it as the "Freaky Friday" deck) and the Radiant Rider Waite Smith tarot. The artwork on the Mystic Monday is gorgeous. However, the mass market production quality is abysmal. Both the front and the back of the most cards got these spotty print stains all over. The only way to make this deck work for me is to close my eyes, shuffle it and pick the cards, all while closing my eyes, of course. I only looked at this deck once after I unboxed it. Then, I just put it away (for good). As for the Radiant Rider Waite Smith, I bought it as my very first deck because I thought the color might be bright. Until later on, somebody pointed out to me that I need to look at the faces and facial expression of the people depicted in the cards. Only then, I realized I don't like the faces of people on every single card, especially all the majors. The faces somehow were re-drawn. I hate those faces. I don't want to say that they are ugly. I just find them very distracting and not to my taste. So, instead, I bought the Radiant Wise Spirit, which I love so much. I also love the "Sun & Moon" tarot. I feel really happy whenever I look at the images on those cards. It radiates such positive energy to me.
the Z tarot is on my wish list XD and I also thought about getting the Zombie deck because it looks fun :D but it's a collage deck and I'm not the biggest fun of those. I also have the Wildwood tarot but I haven't used it yet. I want to be familiar enough with the RW style of reading before attempting using it. Shamanism was one of my favorite subjects in Uni (because the professor was awesome) so the fact that it works with those elements makes it special. I'm really hoping I'll connect nicely with it :D
I like both Tarot of Delphi and the Revival Art Tarot. But I wouldn't pay an arm and a leg for either of them. The Rakham Tarot is not on my wishlist but his oracle deck is ...although I still haven't decided to pull the trigger and buy it.Thank you for sharing,Lisa! :)
Just gotta say I really really like this hair length for you - so pretty 😍 so yeah now to watching the video 😂 I trimmed of the borders of my moon garden and made it a tiny mini bookmark deck and I like it 😅 Indi decks I'm not gonna buy - ALL OF THEM 💸💸💸 Imsi decks I wish for when ppl ask - Brady tarot, El Goliath, illuminated tarot and true black. Indi decks I really wish I didn't buy Pegan otherworlds, crow tarot and white sage tarot.. Crow tarot because the mass produced box and deck are so much better in quality and would have cost me 1:4 of the price due to import tax and shipping 😒 Pegan otherworlds - I really don't like that linnen finish. White sage tarot love it, just never use it 😅
Aw thanks Jezebel! :) As for Indie Decks - agree that they are so expensive and if you're dealing with customs/import fees that can make them really prohibitive so I get it. Thankfully we have some WONDERFUL mass market publishers out there who are starting to bring on more and more indie decks to their catalogues so that more people can have access to them.
I had the Tarot De La Nuit, but I sold it. It felt immature to me somehow. The imagery used on some of the cards also baffled me, as it made no sense in relation to the meaning. I have the Mystic Monday tarot. I LOVE it, I love the minimalist feel but with vibrant colour. One thing I will say though is that the holographic gilding doesn't hold up too well.
I really enjoyed this! Just what I needed today ☺️ I have the Tarot of Delphi but I really like the look of the deck you use in its place - typical! 😂 Loved seeing your picks and hearing your thoughts on each deck. You made me laugh with your comments about the borders on Tarot of the Moon Garden - I get that way about some of my decks, too! 💗
Oh yes the Revival Art Tarot is SO lovely. How have you enjoyed (or not) working with the Tarot of Delphi? Some folks have weighed in to say it has underwhelmed them so I'd be curious about your thoughts?
Lisa, this is one of my most favorite series of yours. I always value your opinion and for some reason, I enjoy listening to you either while cooking or doing laundry! I feel you get me tarot when I am not handling it myself! Edit: I feel the same about the El Goliath tarot. It’s not really hitting the spot for me. I am yet to find my animal tarot deck. It’s annoying to me because there is many amazing ones but nothing yet speaks to me. I love how you are scared of the zombie tarot! I feel the same about my tarot of the vampyre. I purchased this deck in shop while on vacation. Was always one of those decks I wanted to explore but never did. I am looking forward seeing that Z tarot. I just would never get it. Now the spacious tarot isn’t for me yet. I just bought it because I thought I’d regret not giving a shot. Now, have you looked at the cosmic tarot on kickstarter? I am on edge of backing and not backing that. Another deck I am wondering about is the lucky potion oracle? Let me know how you see these two decks?
I so enjoyed this. Whether I agree or disagree it provides a wonderful look at decks and the reasoning behind enjoying them, or not. Fab - keep decluttering. x (found you via the recent vr top 5).
I saw your first anti-haul and had to come see the second. Now I'm in the reverse position with the Tyldwick because that deck look gorgeous and it's not available anywhere, so trying to figure out what could scratch that itch! In the meantime, subbing to your channel. :D
Thisbe's Nemesis Oracle is an Art History deck similar to Tarot of Delphi. It's independent published by Bridgett Trejo. You can find it on Etsy. 😊 I agree with most of your choices here. Loved this video.
Loved this Lisa! I would do a review to it but I quickly get rid of the decks that I regret buying so don't really own any anymore :) Really enjoyed your thoughts though!
And that's exactly why I passed my Wildwood deck to my daughter. Can't handle different systems. She only has a couple of decks so she can spend the time learning it
Great video. I also have a deck or two that continue to bleed after edging. Some permanent sharpie markers just bleed, like yellow. I don't recommend yellow, LOL.
I have to say first, I love your videos as always. Secondly, I love the El Goliath tarot deck. I don't do black and white decks usually and I don't care for the strange plastic insert in the box (these are not things I'm inclined to notice either but it is somehow rather obvious every time I use the deck). But this deck really speaks to me and does so that I even forget that it's black and white. I love the extra cards (like you. I enjoy the shake up). I do get that it can feel a bit shadowy and I absolutely love your process of elimination with decks. In fact, it's helping me make smarter choices with my own collection, which is not huge but which is growing rather rapidly for the health of my pocket book. I just had to give some love the El Goliath--it is such a clear speaker to me without being so heavy handed I am uncomfortable with using it, if you know what I mean. I didn't know he was planning to update it, I'll be interested to see what that looks like! I also loveeee the Brady Tarot.
Hi Lisa, I had the Tarot of Delphi and I swapped it. Although I loved the art they used, I found the deck quite disjointed. The photo manipulation of the paintings made the image to card meaning... at best contrived, at worst, completely off. It didn't read well for me at all.
I just discovered your channel and I love your videos! I have the Crystal Visions Tarot and it is my favorite deck. Have you heard of the Prisma Visions Tarot Deck? That is the next deck I am going to buy.
Great great great video! I've watched your 3 videos and i looove! Please continue! lol It's a very instructive, smart! (even if i continue to buy decks that look the same than another one :D) For 2020 i want to calm down so it will be an alternative to think your way! Thank you! xoxo from Belgium! Steph
Hi Lisa I was interested to hear your thoughts on Australian decks Here in Australia we also have huge shipping costs 😟 I would love for you to do video on favourite Ozzie decks ❤️ You present so well with so much info
I too decided against the Tarot of Magical Correspondences. Beautiful but I probably won't use it for reading. I backed a kickstarter deck and the creator was great while the campaign was going on but now I've only had ONE email and it's been over for over 2 months now. Not cool.
I’m new to your channel and thoroughly enjoyed this video. I love the Peggy bags 💼. Your reasons are very clear and I relate to them as well. The Lightseers Tarot is on my maybe list but with the quality issues etc I’m not certain I will buy this either.
Welcome!! So glad you enjoyed! I'm working on Anti-Haul 4 so hopefully will have that one out soon! I do end up changing my minds on some things but not others... it's been a journey!
Thanks for sharing! I do have the Spirit Within + like it a lot (only thing I don't love is the cardstock); I wouldn't like Healing Light -- while I can appreciate it, it feels too photoshopped for me, which just isn't my style. I'm not getting El Goliath, Tarot de la Nuit, Tarot of Magical Correspondences, Z Tarot, or Whispering Spirits Tarot either - none of them appeal to me (can't remember if there were others you mentioned, but probably - I have almost none you mention in this video... except Pagan Otherworlds and I did back Spacious). Rackham I'm up in the air with only because decks of pre-existing art so often don't work for me. I really wish I could get the Brady Tarot because I love *almost* everything about it... but, like some others, those impossible-to-trim-off keywords are just a deal-breaker for me, unfortunately.
Love your new hairstyle 😘 There are decks I absolutely cannot stand-but I would never say that and the name of the deck in the same sentence because, yes, not respectful of others creativity. Mostly though it is about connection and sometimes it’s just not there even though I wish it were. When I was divesting my decks, #tombenjamin , I too chose the druid craft over the wildwood. Sometimes you’ve got to choose 🤷♀️ I tend to buy animal decks and love them but I don’t connect with them on the level I would like.
I love the way you've trimmed the Sun & Moon Desk. Gorgeous. I feel the same way about Tarot de la Nuit (and the Quantum Oracle), all the characters are young and gorgeous with a Photoshop gloss. All due respect to the artists, that's my personal response only. I had both the Healing Light and Quantum 2.0 tarot and gifted both .The use of only silhouettes and shadows threw me off. I'm a newbie, found them hard to interpret and they were so dark. Not "evil" dark but lacking in light. I felt like I needed to squint to make out the imagery. They are beautiful but didn't click for me.
I feel the same way about the indie version of the Light Seer's Tarot! I want that deck SOOOOO Bad!! But the only one I can find is on ebay for 600 USD..... In no way can I spend that money😱💰😭
I've looked at that deck TWICE since you left this comment (in stores) - it's really lovely! I'm not sure if I'll ever pick it up, but I keep thinking about it!
Thanks for sharing. I didn't buy the Wildwood Tarot or the Druidcraft Tarot ... I'm quite sure they won't work for me. It's not so much about the artwork (the Druid Animal Oracle is wonderful) even though I'm not so much a fan of Worthington's style. With the Wildwood it's that I like "the original" (The Greenwood Tarot) a lot better ... and the Druidcraft is a very very binary gendered deck, that's quite close to the Rider-Waite-Smith (a system that barely works for me) - it also mixes druidry and wicca (generally not my favourite branch of witchcraft) too much. A deck that works very well for me is the Celtic Wisdom Tarot. With Animal Tarot Cards ... The Tarot Fauna ... is beautiful, yet I wouldn't connect either. I suppose The Badgers Forest Tarot will do it for me. The adventures of the animals in the minors seem to really grasp the meaning of the cards in a vivid, very unpathetic and natural way. (Badgers go thru sword meanings, Foxes thru wands, Hares thru cups and crows thru coins). The naked heart tarot ... is nice. I like the minimalism and the images ... Chris Butler ... I love him as a tarot teacher and his YT channel. Not so sure about the decks he produced. I do value them. They are powerful and special ... and in a good way not deviating much from the RWS. Yet, they just seem to be not for me. Maybe it's otherwise with his books. El Goliath. Hmm. My feelings about the deck are quite similar. However ... because I like the intention of it being a shadow work tarot, the Brady Tarot won't be a substitute.
I tend to avoid a lot of decks because they're too.... I tend to use Barbie tbh. Too perfect in a white, almost plasticky way. They're good looking decks, but it just doesn't appeal to me.
Also, with as many people as have praised with Wildwood deck, I'm relieved to find I'm not the only one who can't work with it for whatever reason. In my case, I just don't resonate too well with strong nature, outdoorsy decks because I'm a city pagan and it just doesn't click with me. Conversely, I also tend to avoid super stylized/vetctor-y type decks simply because they don't appeal to me visually. But guess who just ordered Spirit Within because it sang to me immediately? I've been craving a simple, straightforward modern/masculine deck to balance out how flowery and soft spoken my shadowscapes deck tends to be. Between Spirit Within and the Urban Tarot I hope one of them fills that itch I've been trying to scratch for ages.
I got the Spirit within Tarot a while ago but have not reached for it once. As soon as I had it in my hands there was something that just didn't speak to me anymore. They always looked so good in videos. I don't understand that phenomenon. I am going back and forth on whether or not to buy the Rackham Ring Cycle Tarot. There are just some cards that I don't really agree with for some positions and the deck is quite pricey. But I love Opera and I know the Ring Cycle really well so I really don't know which way to go with that one. And I would love to get my hands on the Tyldwick, but not for just any amount of money, some prices are redicoluos.
I've had that happen before - sometimes video does make them pop more or just looks different/better somehow. I haven't seen the Rakham Ring Cycle Tarot.
We're still waiting for the Majestic Earth Tarot (from the Tarot of Delphi creator). It was due in March initially, and granted a lot of these campaigns run late, but we still have no real idea of when the cards will ship. Also, most of us are still waiting on the Lightseer's and the Muse Tarot. She also went "radio silent" while she was hammering out her deal with Hay House. I'm pretty much done with backing decks on Kickstarter at this point. I decided against the El Goliath based more on comments from the creator in one of his videos than anything.
Sorry to hear about your experience with Majestic Earth, your comments echo others I've heard. I actually found my experience with Lightseer's to be the best of all the decks I've backed on crowdfunding with regard to transparency, communication and updates - but we all have different expectations with these sort of experiences, and like to see different things. I do believe in her last update from Chris-Anne yesterday that all decks have shipped to backers, now! I would say I'm still open to backing Kickstarters, however I'm MUCH more hesitant, these days, to back projects where the art is not completed (or very near completion) at the time the campaign launches as, in my experience so far, the time it takes to complete the artwork can vary *wildly*.
I also want to ask you about your opinion on more modern tarot decks like the next world tarot or the urban tarot? I just love listening to you ... so I thought I’d ask :)
Hi there! :) I like some modern decks but I can be very picky! I love Poppy Palin's Everyday Enchantments Tarot, the Sasuraibito and the Light Seer's which all have a modern vibe. I also really love the Fountain Tarot. I haven't felt particularly drawn to the Urban or Next World but I am EAGERLY anticipating the This Might Hurt Tarot!
Okay, I avoided the mandorla one, because I think it's ugly. I had the Spirit Within (I adore Steven Bright) and ended up giving it to my adult daughter because I think it's magnificent for beginner tarot readers AND I think it's nice for her husband because of the, yes, masculine style. I just bought Tom Benjamin's Brady tarot, I am thrilled to be getting it because I bought other stuff when it came out, and I have been trying to catch up with all the stinking decks that came out this last year or so...so many PRETTY DECKS. Ugh, my pockets hurt!
Are you happy with your purchase of Tarot of Delphi or is it a regret? I have books for all my decks. One of these days I need to make up a proper trade/sale list - but... well... lazy! LOL
@@Lisa_Papez yes, I am happy I got it. It's not just the artwork. The way she's matched up the art and myth and tarot is different and inspiring. (Also I made the purchase from Wild Moon Woman before she left.)
Fantastic series - I love these anti-hauls! Honestly, I love all your videos. Your friendliness and enthusiasm are so refreshing.
Thank you so much!
I’m loving these anti-hauls! I really appreciate that you give your reason as to why it’s not working in a way that is still respectful to the artist ✌️
I'm so enjoying watching all of these anti haul videos, they are so fun 💖
As someone who works alot with the Wildwood Tarot I can definitely confirm that it threw me originally due to the much slower pace that was required to bond with the deck.
Yesss! Having or making the time to really get to know a deck makes ALL the difference! Thank you for sharing your experience!
I love the wild wood tarrot but you are right. My collection is pretty small and I have the time to study the deck a bit more. I love the anti haul videos!!!😍
Yay! New one will be coming this month!
These videos you made are so helpful. I love how gentle you are and respectful of the ones that you do not choose. You have a more cutesy wootsey taste than I do, but I enjoy expanding my tastes and I seem to agree with almost every one of your choices. Thanks!
I really enjoyed this video. Thank you. It’s so fun to see which decks you reach for. I’ve purchased a couple that you show. Thank you!!
I discovered your channel just a couple of days ago and I can already tell these anti-hauls are my favourite videos!
I LOVE making them!! :) And welcome!!
Blessed Be
Thank you so much!! 😘
I really enjoyed this vid. It was great that you gave alternates for the ones that you decided that you didn't want or were passing on.
I DID sit through all of that and I loved every minute of it. This mindful approach is really refreshing, so please keep making these!
Will do!!! And thanks for watching the whole thing!
Your anti-haul videos are my fave! It helps me decide on decks.
Lisa: "I hope you have something to do like fold your laundry"
Me: *Stares at my intimidating pile of laundry that is yet to be folded* "Uh... dang it, alright"
This comment cracked me the heck up.... LOL
Gorgeous decks!!!!!! I just love Joanna Nelson's work. I have her CatLand oracle and so want the monstarot!!!!!!
yes, I watched to the end. Love to hear what you have to say. You have great energy. Thanks for sharing your light. xo
Lisa I love the Anti Haul series. It is fun and helpful. Thank you
Love this anti-haul video!
I backed the second edition Brady also! :) As for Steven Bright's deck, I'm definitely feeling super tempted!!!!
I just got the Wildwood a couple of weeks ago and have also trimmed it but still can't connect... Ordered the Druid Craft later and OMG! In love!
Yayy I was dying for pt.2! I love this series so much, especially the way you explain the reasoning behind your thoughts!
You are so welcome!
Your anti-haul videos are awesome. I look forward to these! 😊
I love your anti-haul videos. Thanks for your sincerity and honesty! I want that Monstarot so much 🙈
The spirit within is a great read. Super clear.
And, this video was incredibly fun to watch!
So funny I knew which decks that you were going to pick as alternatives :) I would guess them as you were talking about the anti-decks lol
Oooh fun! LOL
Since I began studying Tarot 7 years ago I"ve been searching for a deck that was a full playing cards deck with the Knights and majors included. THANK YOU! I will now purchase the Dead on Paper Arcana Deck. LOVE IT THANK YOU MAA'M! ♥
Yay!!
Where's #5? I thought I heard you say that you had made a #5??? Love these! Just got healing light, it really doesn't get enough love
I love your anti-haul videos. Omg, The Spacious Tarot ...I did that same thing you did with the other deck, I ordered and cancelled. I know I will get it eventually, but I decided to wait to for now.
It looks gorgeous - but I also partly wonder if it may get picked up for mass market given the overwhelmingly positive reaction to it!
@@Lisa_Papez That's what I'm hoping and praying for. 😛
@@stevenbrightuk It's so hard to not buy all the pretty new things that come out - that's for surrrre!
I like astrology so I really liked the FateShifters.
I normally get bored with UA-cam videos after about 20mins but this kept me engaged all the way to the end. Great honest video. :)
Ooooh that's a great compliment! Thanks! #3 is due out SOON!
This has been very interesting. Your collection is wonderful. Love your point of views! Thank you for sharing!
I love these anti-hauls. I have learned about so many decks from these videos.... although my husband would say that's not a Pro. hahaha
Bahaha I'm sure Peggy would sympathize with your hubby! 🤣
It really is! And I would kick myself if I spent that money and then it got reprinted, too!
This was great !! Your anti-hauls are really informative !!
@@Lisa_Papez I get that - how nice that you are respecting both your friend and intro to something that is such a meaningful part of your life.
Loved this video! I did read somewhere that Tarot of Delphi might be printed again in 2020!
The Rakham Oracle is on my wishlist too!
Xoxxo love that u make it ok changing your mind even after trimming and edging etc xoxo
Just gotta say I really really like this hair length for you - so pretty 😍 so yeah now to watching the video 😂
I trimmed of the borders of my moon garden and made it a tiny mini bookmark deck and I like it 😅
Indi decks I'm not gonna buy - ALL OF THEM 💸💸💸 Imsi decks I wish for when ppl ask - Brady tarot, El Goliath, illuminated tarot and true black.
Ive watched them all more than once. Waiting for #5! ☺
My go to deck is Tarot de la Nuit , I freakin LOVE it!!!! Lol. But I love the deck you chose over it too!!
Love this anti-haul series and all of those wonderful decks. I have to go and find the first one. 😂
Lisa, this is one of my most favorite series of yours. I always value your opinion and for some reason, I enjoy listening to you either while cooking or doing laundry! I feel you get me tarot when I am not handling it myself!
Edit:
I feel the same about the El Goliath tarot.
I backed The Lucky Potion Oracle, but I did not back Cosmic Cycles - just got a funny vibe from the creator.
This is amazing!!! I found some great new decks from this video!
Love your Anti Haul videos your very respective to the creators
If you dont feel you can work with the cards you could still enjoy the artwork of them by using the cards and making a collage with them
I love these!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I will gladly take that Crystal Tarot if you are serious!! I am so drawn to the chaos and busy colors on the cards!
If I offer it up in the future, it would likely be part of a giveaway on the channel, so keep your eyes on this space!
She only has a couple of decks so she can spend the time learning it
You are da bomb! Love this video. Your energy is uplifting.
Great video. I also have a deck or two that continue to bleed after edging. Some permanent sharpie markers just bleed, like yellow. I don't recommend yellow, LOL.
Yikes! Good to know!
I adore The Spacious Tarot. I own 1 st edition also preordered 2nd one too:)
Watched all of it. Very useful.
I keep flipping back and forth on the El Goliath so I'll be interested to see what those changes are with the next edition.
Hi Lisa, I had the Tarot of Delphi and I swapped it. Although I loved the art they used, I found the deck quite disjointed. The photo manipulation of the paintings made the image to card meaning... at best contrived, at worst, completely off. It didn't read well for me at all.
Mary-Grace Fahrun wow that’s great to know, thank you!
Thank you for that feedback!
I just discovered your channel and I love your videos! I have the Crystal Visions Tarot and it is my favorite deck. Have you heard of the Prisma Visions Tarot Deck? That is the next deck I am going to buy.
Welcome!! I have the Prisma Visions..it's really beautiful but I'll admit I've had some trouble bonding with it. Lovvve the panoramic minors!
Great great great video! I've watched your 3 videos and i looove! Please continue! lol
It's a very instructive, smart! (even if i continue to buy decks that look the same than another one :D)
For 2020 i want to calm down so it will be an alternative to think your way! Thank you!
xoxo from Belgium!
Steph
Hi Lisa I was interested to hear your thoughts on Australian decks
Here in Australia we also have huge shipping costs 😟
I would love for you to do video on favourite Ozzie decks ❤️
You present so well with so much info
That's a great idea! I'm not always entirely sure which decks in my collection are from where though... hmm... 🤔
Love your new hairstyle 😘
There are decks I absolutely cannot stand-but I would never say that and the name of the deck in the same sentence because, yes, not respectful of others creativity.
Woooo tempted to follow suit! I loved this video
Yesss! They are gorgeous, but there's something about those plain pips...
"Love enjoying" your tarot anti-hauls!
Just recently discovered your channel and I love your energy!
Thank you so much! And welcome!
This was awesome! Thanks for sharing!
I feel the same way about the indie version of the Light Seer's Tarot! I want that deck SOOOOO Bad!! But the only one I can find is on ebay for 600 USD..... In no way can I spend that money😱💰😭
Oh this is gonna be juicy, I hope Sacred Traveler oracle will never on this list. I feel like I have to defend that deck for eternity 😍
I've looked at that deck TWICE since you left this comment (in stores) - it's really lovely! I'm not sure if I'll ever pick it up, but I keep thinking about it!
Is the Pagan Otherworlds OOP? I can't seem to find it for sale anywhere in the UK. I've been after it for a while.
It's sold directly by UUSI: uusi.us/products/pagan-otherworlds-tarot
@@Lisa_Papez thank you 🙃
If I don't end up selling it before then, will be tossing Spirit Within on the swap table at NWTS next year ;-)
Ooooooooo!
I just love you and your videos...THANKS!!
Love these anti hauls!
@@Lisa_Papez For sure the Majestic Earth process was definitely worse, people were reporting her to Kickstarter for lack of communication.
@@SoulsJourney YIKES!
Supportive Tarot with Lisa I am also excited for that! I have the next world tarot and I love it! Can’t say the same about Urban tarot though.
Has anyone ever told you that you look like Gillian Anderson? X-Phile tarot-phile here! Working my way thru your #antihaul vids. So far entertaining!
Aw thank you! I've never heard that before!
I'll happily relieve you of your Wildwood...already trimmed works for me...if you have the books I would trade or buy the bunch....
I paid 150 bucks for Delphi, I didn't back Majestic Earth...but I might be into it if she has extra...I love Lightseers!!!😛
