Hearing him talk in a normal voice is so funny
Hear Kev speak full sentence funny.
Why use big word when small word do trick?
Yeah, it’s weird. He sounds like a totally different person. I had no idea he had changed his voice so much.
@@joshuabray37 hes a smart guy, him and andy are alumni at my highschool
@@andrewmeyer169 Nice! My wife interviewed there (Westminster), to teach Chinese. That’s a GREAT school.
What the fuck is this title
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Brian is confirming the reddit theory.
Big fan theory that his character is a secret genius who play dumb to have deceive everyone and he loves the theory and talks about it every now and then on podcasts and interviews etc
Bots
Thank you.
When he said “free throw line extended”, I knew he was legit.
I only liked your comment so it had 69
@@amazingtakesonly thank you for bringing balance to the force
@@amazingtakesonly kind of mad at 26 people rn…
Fr thats some textbook shit😂😭
@@aappcye8869 Ong once it reaches 69 just let it sit at this point we have to get it to 420 now
I love how shows become bigger than life and characters evolve way past what the actor even thought was possible
And then they make him into a moron who doesn't know the ABC's...
@@Butcho22 that's the poi...NVM man...
It’s called good writing
@@Butcho22 I mean he ended with owning a bar. So he's not completely stupid
These characters are deeply imbedded into my DNA at this point lol
The best show wrap up is when Kevin tells the cameras that he has been using "kelevins" to balance the books. He committed fraud for YEARS and that is basically the whole reason the Scranton branch stayed in operation and Michael was treated like such a great boss by corporate.
🤯🤯🤯
i think Óscar was the one that spilled the beans figuratively, while Kevin spills them literally.
Waittt… what?! What episode is this from?
@@BrooklynBoy206 can't remember the exact one. But the op is right. This was part of the show
@@BrooklynBoy206 It was either in the finale, or one of the three episodes in the end where Dwight is manager
Bryan in real life is the opposite of a big dummy
Yeah he's big smartie
@@dfhdf4214 thanks for replying. 392 likes and I had no idea I even got 1 from this comment thanks to UA-cam. You're the first notification I had 🍻
@@agreensubstance you can finally feel liked!
A small genius?
@@agreensubstance wow you’ve improved society
Dude has the voice and cadence of Neil Degrasse Tyson.
No he doesn’t lol
@@loganknox7 he absolutely does..
Wait I'm blind... This isn't Neil Degrasse Tyson?
Completely agree
Where are they from?
I bet he’s a culinary genius too, if only we could have see their reactions to his chili.
I hear he's still cleaning it up to this day.
I was genuinely sad for him when that chilli dropped
Remember “Ultra Feast”
The trick is to undercook the onions
@@Xplora213 same :( I get wayyy too attached to characters haha
I didn’t recognize him because of his voice lmao what an actor
I like people with long brain. I have long amount of disl*kes btw. Why? Maybe people with short brain disl*ke because jealous of my long amount of subscr*bers. Please have long brain, dear matt
@@AxxLAfriku tf are you talking about?
Because Kevin fakes it. He's actually super smart. It is implied many times.
My life is now complete after hearing him talk like a normal person
Why use big word when small word do trick?
@@heathermillsphantomlimb9314 Exactly...He will never be President
@@heathermillsphantomlimb9314 why waste time say lot word when few word do trick** lol sorry don’t mean to be a dick I just seen the show SO many times. It’s honestly a lil embarrassing I could “watch” an episode with my eyes closed and utter damn near every line in unison with the characters 😭😂
Him spilling the entire pot of chili was still the best
WHAT THE WHAT??? i am over 100 years old and still making youtub videos? oh yeah baby. why? because i am the ultimate youtuber. woo woo woo you know it dear cheis
Nah it was the worst
@@AxxLAfriku Why are you the way that you are? I hate so much about the things that you choose to be. You are better than this. Get an education, a job, a family. Don't be a mindless spammer desperately seeking attention.
The turtle 🐢 scene was pretty good too! 😆
It feels weird seeing him talk normal irl. He's totally the opposite of his character in the office.
Watch the bloopers of each season
I only liked your comment so it would be at “69.”
I didn’t like it so it could stay at 96
In the first season he spoke more closely to his natural voice, the “dumb” sounding voice didn’t come until later seasons.
Got be wise enough to play the fool
He also learned how to play drums practically overnight in order to play in the show. Coming from a 35-year drummer, he did a great job. He comes across as a competent amateur drummer.
Kevins acting is amazing, he sounds like a normal dude in this interview!!
lol
hearing him talk like this really shows a lot more behind his eyes
The writing of the show was amazing. Good writing is so underrated.
@RealSweetKid fair point
@RealSweetKid that's every single show that doesnt start out with a finale already written. 99% of successful shows turn into cash grabs
Good writing is literally the least underrated thing ever.
@@FPSBuzz Sometimes, but I feel like it’s more that people give a pass to bad writing a lot of the time these days
@@donsolos what shows had the finale already written? I really liked the internal consistency & foreshadowing in The Mentalist but RJ was really anticlimactic with the story kind of wandering after his arc ended.
Kevin is a great actor too, playing this Brian guy.
THE DRUMS set the rythm
The Vocals set the pace
TO DO THIS BY YOURSELF WOULD BE INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT
As someone who's tried, it is indeed stupid hard to do by yourself
He really put a voice on for the show. Especially the beginning
Well he’s an actor, it’s kinda what they do… develop a character
@@davidvied2507 I know but he does have that look. I’ve never seen him in anything else so it was just unexpected
In the beginning his voice is somewhat normal, it gets more and more weird for every season
I did not think that was his voice lol.
Anderson paak: "hold my beer"
Every drummer who’s watched the office: “Yeah we got that”
Nice try Ashton Kutcher
His real voice and character shows just how much acting goes into Kevin.
Kevin’s childlike smile after cracking a joke is the most endearing thing ever.
Levon Helm did that too. He’s a legend
I also immediately thought of levon helm!
One of the best performances on any sitcom. It's hard to pull off a character like Kevin. Well done!
playing drums and singing together when they are in the same time signature is hard enough, kevin really is a musical mastermind
He has an incredible and natural radio voice.
It is so cool to hear this guy talk
The little insider nuggets from these interviews about the show is great to see. The literal jokes behind each characters story is absolutely hilarious, especially the 'Kevin the musical savant'
His real voice is so incredibly different I'm having a hard time seeing the same person! Underrated performance
Phil Collins is one.
The police lead and bass player is sting, drum player is Stewart Copeland.
Stewart’s a god
I can’t remember his name, but the drummer/singer from the Eagles too
@@orangutanxremix510 I love the eagles too so many classics❤️
@@orangutanxremix510 don henley
I love early Kevin as I also played poker very heavily during that time the show was going. So as seasons wore on n they made the character dumber I'd be like he can't be that stupid AND have a world series bracelet lol.
He got it for high card low card though.
@@wuddup321 I thought it was Omaha hi lo
@@AA-wq5sm Him having women be strangely attracted to him was funny once. When it became a pattern it was just weird.
His voice!!
I actually really like listening to him talk, he keeps me interested in what he’s saying.
do u have adhd?
@@OneofOne316 not that I know of lol
Levon helm sang and drummed at the same time
Dave grohl: hold my beervana
This is the first time I've actually heard his real voice like wtf 😭
As a drummer and a singer that people ask to drum and sing all the time, this couldn’t be more true. The music feels so much better when the singing is just *slightly* behind the beat, it’s so incredibly difficult to sing like that and stay on beat. THAT is why watching Anderson .Paak live is so damn impressive
Levon helm
And that is why Levon Helm is a musical savant
Michael: “How about no arms? No arms and no legs is basically how you live right now, Kevin. You don’t do anything.”
Kevin: 👁👄👁
I love this show even more
I'm just thankful that Brian found the reddit.
If 1 guy could perform Stewart Copeland and Sting’s roles in The Police at the same time, that person would be the greatest musician of all time
"Call It"
Anderson Paak! Musical Genius!!
First guy I thought of lol
Drumming and singing in general takes a really intelligent and talented musician. As a drummer (who can’t sing at the same time) when I saw that on the office I instant knew Kevin was actually really smart.
His voice just gave me a heart attack
you mean he caused your heart to attack you
He’s a hell of an actor ❤
Same with math. He was a genius if you used pies but it doesn't work with salads lol
“Free throw line extended” that’s when I knew he actually did play ball. Most probably organized ball.
Bring The Office back, we miss you ❤️
Phil Collins is a good example.
Seeing Kevin being so well-spoken is fucking with my brain lmao
Kevin!!!!! My favorite character!
And he's covering Stewart Copeland. One of the best drummers of all time
This dude has had one cool life, I’m sure he has some really interesting stories
Dude he needs a podcast, that voice is fucking gold
it’s why sting is so impressive, singing while playing some of those bass lines is crazy
Don't forget Paul McCartney too. Like being a vocal and have to play bass with lack of speakers were hard too
This man is a great actor
Kelly Keagy, drummer from Night Ranger, lead sings Sister Christian too. Witnessed that two days ago, absolutely an amazing voice
Don Henley and Phil Collins were lead vocals and drummers. Musical Savants 🤣
I’ve seen a dude live one time. Drum, and sing mother by Danzig. It’s was awesome. The dude was flawless.
And it’s already incredibly difficult to sing and play drums at the same time.
What song is he talking about? I want to know how difficult that song is for myself.
@@DJ-ov2it it’s called “be mine be mine”
@@mitch.sorenstein there is no police song with that name though 🤔
Most of the police songs have that feel that’s what he’s saying in the interview it’s particularly difficult to sing and drum a police song as the singing is off the beat. Try Roxanne or Message in a bottle
I realized Kevin was truly a genius during the Pie episode (forgive me for not remembering the name). He does some arithmetic off the top of his head instantly. After that I started paying attention when watching it through again and again and noticed other things that led me to believe that he was a genius. He plays dumb to go unnoticed and fly under the radar. Dude is smart
Wth that’s an underrated voice
It’s weird to see Kevin talking normally…
He did have decent form & follow thru on those shots!!
Brian baumgartner: I really do that shit.
Anderson Paak.
Don Henley
Why does he have such a good podcast voice
Brian does a podcast. He interviews actors, writers and directors who worked on The Office and elsewhere.
Mans got a jumper fr
Who else expected him to actually talk like Kevin Malone?
Im a musical person and play drums. For those curious, Stu Copeland from The Police playing style in many songs was to play backbeat rhythms and the downbeats werent necessarily where Sting would lay the vocal emphasis. Its a cool little tidbit because playing drums ALONE on Police songs is tough enough but to sing also? 😂😂 Pretty awesome
Don Henley. Drums and lead singing at the same time.
Never thought I’d hear Kevin say free throw line extended hahaha
This is some high quality Title Gore
Is this Kevin? Wow. Great actor. He is on point.
"At least once a year I like to bring in some of my Kevin's Famous Chili. The trick is to undercook the onions. Everybody is going to get to know eachother in the pot. I'm serious about this stuff"
*drops it everywhere and proceeds to scoop it back in off the floor with a clipboard and paper.... Hmmmmm
I knew a friend of a friend in middle school who, let's just say wasn't the brightest person around. But when it came to instruments he was a genius, knew banjo, guitar, bass, piano, flute, drums, sax, lots of stuff, he was just naturally good at them
Hearing Kevin say savant is just too much😂😂😂
Bro he is such a good fucking actor...
Lol soo awesome they filmed it
Me who has played the drums while singing at the same time: am I a musical genius?!?!!
I play many instruments and aside from perhaps strumming basic guitar, ukulele, and mandolin chords in basic rhythmic patterns, drums are by far the easiest instrument to play and sing at the same time. The symmetrical nature of the repeating rhythms during singing parts make it easy to lock in, even if the singing occurs “off the beat”. Police songs are quite easy to play drums and sing at the same time. Bass lines are the most difficult to sing over (except country and bluegrass), because the space between notes is the least repetitive. Police bass lines, although easy on their own, are quite challenging to play while singing, which is part of what makes Sting so impressive. Bass players who sing are very impressive, yet they never get credit from people who’ve never tried it.
He sounds so sharp and well spoken. Lol
Brian's voice is fucking gorgeous hearing him as Kevin and hearing his actual voice is hilarious
Kevin only wears glasses when he gambles
First time EVER seeing this dude out side of The Office EVER. So guess what i was thinking the whole time? 😂😂😂😂😂He knows his topic though. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🎂
Can't believe how smart he is in real life lol
Damn this is such a trip he's making full sentence he feels different lol
I’m convinced there’s aliens out there making these titles
Wow! Had no idea he didn't talk like he sid on the show. Thats crazy! Damn I miss the show. I still liked it even when Steve left.
The drummer for the Romantics had to play the drums left handed (he was right handed) while singing their biggest hit “What I Like About You!”
That's what he actually sounds like 🤯
I remember seeing some post a while ago… don’t remember where. but for some reason, someone made a skill sheet for each of the characters from the office based off of fallouts character sheets.
It was in depth too, showed perks, level, skills. Weirdly detailed.
But leave in was 1 int, 10 luck and had a bunch of perks and skills to back that up like wild wasteland and idiots savant.
Wish I could remember where I saw it but I found it interesting.
Lmfao his voice I love it
Therapist- Smart, articulate Kevin isn't real
