Robert California is one of the most insane and outrageous characters ever and James Spader does such an unbelievable job with Robert California’s quirks. The delivery of his lines, the bobble-head schtick, the lip licking, the super intense stares, it’s all gold. I’m sure we’ve all tried to pretend to be the actor playing the character like John Krasinski playing Jim glancing at the camera, but pretending to be Spader playing Robert is impossible. He’s so weird😂 My fav Robert line is 2:40 lmao And why is Phyllis’s cough in the first clip so funny? She’s coughing INTO her desk drawer and holding onto it for leverage? 😂😂😂
