It's amazing that this show worked. Some of the actors (Jim, Phyllis, Pam, Oscar) were exaggerated versions of themselves. But Brian (Kevin) and others (Meredith, Dwight, Angela) created entire characters for the show. Fucking impressive on both ends.
Note to Jay: When a guest is telling a story, let them finish.

What's great about the office is, yes there are story arcs that stretch through the entire show, but they aren't so complicated and super deep that if you miss an episode you're completely lost. You can watch any random episode, without context and still totally enjoy it. It's such a great show

One scene with Kevin that doesn’t get much discussion is the photocopier when Angela and Darryl are reading out the code, and he’s thanking them for their help whilst doing it. “Thank you” “Nice”

Brian pulled off Kevin's character flawlessly. I just arrived at season 5 and Dwight's "haze" of Holly is one of the funniest running jokes I have ever seen. It's a testament to Brian's skills that he made the character so believable that viewers assume that he has to be like Kevin when that is not the case at all.

When I started watching the office, it took me at least 4/5 episodes to actually "get it" like the dry humour but I absolutely LOVE it now!!!!!
