Im a little confused about VTB. I thought it was similar to Seller financing and one of the points of it was that its like getting a loan but from the owner instead of a bank. The point is they have a free and clear property and you are just giving them a down payment for terms but in this example he had to bring in another investor to foot the remaining 200k in the end anyway. So it sounds like it was in reverse and the seller financed the 25% down portion (65k @ 0%) and he had to come up with the 75% cash from his investor, is really how a VTB works??? Help me understand please?
