this is your best paintjob yet Mark, and id love a clear coat tutorial
same, I think even if you do everything else perfectly, the clear coat is a make or break it situation
I honestly thought the red/white and blue would look tacky but DAMN it turned out amazing! badass build as always!
One of the sickest guitar refurbishes you've done yet! The camera probably doesn't do the blue undercoat justice. I'd love to see one where the undercoat is like a neon color, almost glowing through (alien blue?). This guitar is truly a work of art!

man i just wanna say i found this channel today! i love it so much not only cause the content is awesome and i love watching sick guitars or old guitars get restored, but that the production value is so much higher then any other type of similar guitar content on youtube... it feels like im watching the history channel!! this is a badass fn guitar man, ive seen the other splatter n crackles u did but this body shape and adding the stop bar makes it fn insane.... id be scared to ask how much it would cost to buy a similar one ahaha but man ur custom work is no joke, so its worth whatever price u got!!! cheers from canada brother

The headstock looks awesome!
the only thing I'd change is the strap button near the neck. the angle in which the guitar rests makes it likely it will get loose from the strap, unless there's some update (strap locks)
I'm on guitiar #42, last two were Dimebag Razorbacks. Rust and an 06 stealth sorta paint job with the black and gray. Great guitars. I have been doing kind of what you do. I just don't record it but a nice channel to run into

Have you ever tried ebonizing rosewood? I would love to see a tutorial about this
I asked Mark this question actually before but got no answer. I don't remember him dyeing a fretboard and in some cases the guitar would definitely benefit from it. Maybe no one just haven't asked for that mod before. I had a good result in one my jacksons with fiebings leather dye!
Mark can you do a video on how to sand the clear coat level I could really use cuse Inspired me to get into custom door building and I kind of need some pointers so I’d really appreciate it if you did make a video on that

I just Holoflashed my guitar and i want a black crackle effect on it.
After the holoflash coat i will spray a water based clear coat (2k spraymax will destroy the holoflash effect). Then the crackle paint and the 2k at the end.
Do you think the montana will crackle as well over the duplicolor aqua ?

Would had love to had seen it routed for a flyod an the neck set but understand not wanting to get that deep into it. I’ve got a couple I’ve built myself but I’ve got one ML in particular I would like to see completed I may email you about, seriously I assure you you haven’t even seen anything like what I have done to it on any other guitar I have an epoxy resin diorama with a real stiletto switchblade a zippo rosary and real ammunition in the epoxy resin diorama. As well as fractal burned an the burns filled with a metallic flake glow in the dark epoxy resin. Description dosent even begin to really explain how bad ass it is but I can’t figure which way I want to finish it out

Dig everything except I think A v string thru plate and a truss rod cover would have looked better personally

Hi, From dayton ohio, I was wondering if you do anything with guitar cabinets? I have a peavey 6505+ 112 combo. Its in great shape beside the speaker which iam going to upgrade. Hey man, I hope you or someone sees this that may be able to help. I have a couple scratchy frets, they're jumbo stainless and fanned.
its my 2 and 3 frets.
I was thinking a fresh string change obviously, while they;re off maybe polish those with a green brillo pad if anything? (taping off the fretboard of course)
IM currently not in a place where I can take it in, Im handy, but just want some advice from someone who would know a possible home remedy
