Cactus has always been amazing. His work with Highway 101 stands for it all. That was the greatest group from 1987 to 2010. I truly think Highway 101 belongs in the Country Music Hall Of Fame.

Wy is such a strong lady and so glad she has been there with him thru this accident. What a strong love they have for each other. In sickness and in health, they took those vows seriously. My husband, who is not a diabetic, lost his left leg due to infection. Somehow the infection traveled into his neck eating through the spine causing and "internal dicapitation". The next year he lost his other leg. The year after he fell and dislocated his shoulder, it's in such bad shape it dislocated 2 more times within a week. The fall caused an abscess on the right leg (stump) so it had to be opened up again. Leaving him with one prosthetic one the left leg and one good arm on the right. Soon after that healed, he had multiple seizures and had to go on medication, which caused extreme night terrors. Every single night, 2 or 3 times a night. Now the doctors say the right leg may have to come off due to infection. I wish he had the kind of support that Cactus has here. 😥

I mixed monitors for Cactus at Gogebic County fair in Michigan back around 2001 or so, what a great guy he was to work with, that Being said I was really disheartened to hear of his accident but just being around him the very short time I was I knew there's no way in H he wouldn't be back on stage especially with Wynonna behind him....My best wishes go out to the both of them!!!
