Haha this is nothing like it was mate. Still got a heap of snakes and lizards not in this room. Oh and the frog! I think my most mouths was around 170 give or take. That was just ludicrous.
Just found your channel. UA-cam chose it for me so maybe your algorithm is working 😮 beautiful enclosures and animals. Are those fake rocks in the enclosure with Mrs. wiggles? They obviously love it…crawling all over the place. ❤ can’t wait to watch more of your older vlogs to catch up!
I’m glad you’ve found my channel :) yes all the rocks In my enclosures are hand made in this room. I have plenty of videos on building out all of these enclosures. Thanks for watching!
I don’t sorry mate. But I’d suggest checking out varanibae’s video on them. It’s very in depth and a great video. ua-cam.com/video/4rfK7PD2ZDc/v-deo.htmlsi=kk7NFsImzUt4jOid
Thank you! I have kept loads in the past. Recently I owned som nephrurus cinctus and had them in a lovely viv. I have a video on the channel probably in the last year of them.
@BeachesScalyBeasts just watched it , I love your content , aussie reptiles are the best 👌 in my collection I have northern blue tongues , alpine blotched blue tongues, pink tongues and kimberly rock monitor!! I'd love to get a pilbara rock monitor someday however the price Is quite high here in canada , I'm considering picking up some n Levis levis and n amyae , buy I usually prefer diurnal animals that aren't hiding all the time
@@BeachesScalyBeasts oh no!! i just came off your video about it a long while back. i hope you get them again!! but i would love to see the magnificent tree frog setup as well
Great video, what wattage lamps are using in the monitor enclosures 120 x120x60’s? I live on the Gold Coast and have use to heat sources 2 x 150w halogens in winter and only get 24 degrees at the bottom so I am trying to work out how you can can get 28 in the rest of the enclosure with only one heat source with the same enclosure? Great channel I have learnt a lot.
Thanks mate. They are usually 75 or 100 watts. Depending on the time of the year. Keep in mind with the amount of enclosures in a small room it holds heat very well. Also our home is well insulated. Barely drops below 20c in this room on a cold winters day. If I added more heat I’d cook the lizards.
Ok that makes sense being insulated then, I do get a coastal breeze everyday up here. Obviously I have the opposite effect in summer having to half the wattage or the dimmer turns them off on the scorching days. Thanks again for all your great vids and experience with multiple reptiles, may have to get me a gillens monitor later this year too
Hi Hayden, I run a small business called From Bush To Box where i sell custom prints from. The images are all mine in my room and I have a stack from all different habitats. You can search from Bush to box on google and Instagram as well to see more. Cheers!
