    The Light up ball inside the gem is perfect. I love it when the simple dumb idea works out so well. And having it work by slamming the staff down feels very Gandalf

  • @glennwelsh9784
    @glennwelsh9784 4 роки тому +119

    The light-up ball inside the Phoenix Gem is honestly genius. Amazing how well that worked out, and it wasn't even your initial plan. It was just happenstance that you came across a light-up ball that fit your mold and shined through the resin. And the fact that you can activate it by striking the floor with the end up the staff adds to the "authenticity" of the light-up effect. Reminds me of Galdalf striking his staff to the ground when casting a spell.

    • @OdinMakes

      Right? I was not expecting it to work out THAT well. and banging the staff on the ground to make it work is really silly, but fun!

    I love love love how this project really breaks Odin from the usual serious delivery he puts into the editing and voiceovers of his videos. Made me smile especially when he started laughing about how well the concept of the ball worked. Here I thought all that was gonna happen was some drilling to hollow out the resin gem but nope, gotta remember to have fun with your creations / projects and this video says that through and through.
