I want to take a minute to commend you on your editing and music man!!! Really enjoying your vids! Thank you!!!!
Thanks homie! Trying to make rc as fun as I can 👍
Thanks for the great content Ryan, you really showcase great stuff and explain everything clearly. Glad to see you on the team as I am also with Trinity, hoping to see you soon in one of my southern trips. Drove with Lee, AJ, and JR my last trip and you happend to be MIA. Great people in the area for sure. Keep on with the content it's greatly appreciated! -Dylan Cote
Sorry I missed you dude! I'm sure we will cross paths soon 👍
That music is so sick. Cars sick too.
Sorry you left AE.... understand the shift.... Have to take care of you and further the hobby/sport. The boy and I are looking at the new RC10b6.2.... can't wait to hit the track. You are one of the main influences on getting us motivated to get into this thing that is RC.
Fantastic build my friend, Love the Song, great video , Buggy Looks AMAZING 😱👌👍👌👍👌
Thanks for the love homie 👍
Ryan Harris , your welcome brother 😊😁😊
About to race my 6.1d for the first time tomorrow!
Neon under lights on the cars!!!!!
Cool wall bracket in the back
Love the old school Plano Phantom, still have mine too! Wish they still made these. Great videos too keep it up!
Those Planos are so awesome! Glad you noticed haha
Great video and great information. Thank you for continuing to provide the hobby and the enthusiast with great content.
Great Job! Would also like to add u have GREAT taste in music!
Thanks man! Definitely fun making edits with different music 😄
Hi from NZ. Great videos Man. Got me hooked. Cheers
Well done Ryan. Thanks for all you do.
Thanks man! Glad to see you're still lurking through the UA-cams haha I think you have been here since like
UA-cam stickers! Thats awesome man.
Gotta rep for the peeps ya feel? haha
I have jdpasl stickers on my RC cars. I think UA-cam sticker is great idea!!!
Also that car looks AMAZING and thanks for putting all the links in the description. Soooo helpful dude!
OK enough is enough. I don"t ever subscribe to anything but you have so much great content I have to! Keep doin it!
Just put a 6.1 together for indoor turf was a nice build basically using ur same esc setup with the hw 7.5 motor
Awesome channel Ryan. Thanks for all the info and posting links.
Trinity is one company I always forget about. I don't race but their motors are reasonably priced.
Maybe you should race soon? lol
Ryan Harris - No I'm nowhere near ready for that. Lol. Thanks for answering my other question. I was thinking the same thing. So far I moved the shocks out one hole & added a little more preloaded to get my height back up. Haven't had a chance to test it yet. 🤙😁
Dude you have really good videos, the links to everything is fabulous!
Great vid, it looks pretty good, i cant say much about your setup Because i am only racing carpet, but i think your buggy sits pretty high, i dont no how low you gotta be on clay, but on carpet we are running our buggys much lower, only 0.5- 1.5 cm max. Over ground
Awesome video Ryan, thanks for sharing the great info 😎👍
Thanks for always stopping in man! Best of luck out there!
You were going to talk about how your car handles on AstroTurf and how to set up a car
Now all u need is some rcspeedsecrets hybrid bearings!
Your having a baby boy!! That's why the blue is there ;)
Owen Altobello Noooo way man! Maybe in the future...but not anytime soon haha
Great video Ryan thx
Hobbywing the new hotness Trinity been doing it well for close to 40 -45 years Ernie p is a boss🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖:-) :-) :-) :-)
He's the OG of OG's for sure!
You make the best damn videos man. Wife and I really like your content.
nice work
Great video! As always..
That buggy looks killer. Liked and subscribed.😎 👍
Thanks dude!
Ryan I love your videos man. I'm totally new to the RC world. I just built a rc106.1. I was going to get the TLR 22 but after watching your videos I went AE. This may be a dumb noob question but how many batteries do you recommend for club racing. I just bought a Ultra Power UP120AC DUO and Im just not sure what to do on batteries. Do you have race batteries and practice batteries or do you just use the same battery for both. How many should I buy? Thanks for the time man and keep up the good work!
Welcome to the hobby! Nice choice on the B6.1! As for batteries, I would suggest picking up 2 at the most. I would run one for practice and quals, with the other for the main. I suggest the Lipo Factory 2s shorty battery from Trinity to get started. Lower price point and still great performance.
Thanks so much man!
Such a good car..just built my b6.4..😂
hey Ryan keep up the good work on the vids really informative but I have question can you do a video on sway arms THX
Absolute beautiful car! I would really like to use these colors and design on my car. Is this Tamiya paint? If so can you tell me what colors your using? Love your videos! Thank you for taking the time to make them! 🤘🏼
Ti standoffs are cool. But they are very brittle, so they can break easily from a hard hit.
I might have to buy this car now😯😱
Do it!
Nice info
Ryan will you also drive 1/8 scale buggies and truggies in the future
My wallet is approaching the ability of doing so haha It's the plan to get in them soon!
Hi Ryan, for next video it could be a new body paint with bluuueeee ?
New body design
Bro I just love your channel! Earned a sub for sure! I really want to get into 1/10 scale electric racing. Any thoughts or tips? Thinking about the TLR 22 4.0 or the 22T 4.0
Hello Ryan.Where do you get that fancy customised heat shrink.Another great video.Gave me couple ideas on how to organise my B6.1.
Where do you get the supreme tubing around your motor wires and the white motor sensor wires?
Awesome !!
Can you share my channel please ? I don't have many subscriber
I have a B5m lite , should I switch to the new B6.1or stay with what I have ?
Sweet video. Looking at the factory lite edition. I run on dusty clay or clay. What is the pros and cons of a slipper eliminator for stock ?
Thanks
I believe your next vlog will be about diffs in and outside
Rickard Andersson good guess! I will try to make a video about diffs in the future for sure. Next video will be different though 👍
Hey Ryan I think you are going to change the colors of your body for your cars? From the color that is on your shirt and in the background. Oh and I think your going back to Lake park. Like lake as in BLUE
Mike Strobel that is a great guess and I miss lake park... But the video will have to do with something else 😬
I like it but I was wondering if you are planning to get the 6.1 stadium truck in the near future I'd like to here some opinions on that , thanks for your vids.
Hey Ryan great vids! Did you shorten the black wire from esc to receiver?
I have the same esc and it came with the single capacitor. Thinking of upgrading to the dual cap as it looks easier to place in the car nicely.
Looks like you switched to 12AWG wire also. It was a mission to solder the thicker wire in but worth it aesthetically.
Could use help on changing the shock oil for my b6 not grasping the bleeder screws
what shocks springs color configuration are you runing?
where did you get the supreme band on the wires ????
ok so those rear stand-offs...what are they? They make the short ones for the b6 10mm and rear b6 14mm (the rear have fins)..but your rear ones do not have fins and they do not look like the 14mm b6 ones, i'm guessing medium 12mm (kit for b6.1). However, JC does not list these on their website. So were these given to you personally or are they actually available somewhere?
I’m really considering get a 10 scale team associated buggy but I’m not sure if should I go 2wd or 4wd? Which one is easier to drive and durable ? Assuming both are assembled and setup right.. also which one needs less upgrades ?
Marimil Aguilar depends where you are racing. Most tracks would say to start with 2wd as it usually the more popular class. I started in 2wd mod buggy with a 10.5 and I really like it :)
Next video, Astro set up for b6.1!
Good guess! But not quite...
I can't afford the switch, going to keep on running the B6 haha!
The B6 is still a great car!
Ryan Harris yeah there's no doubt about it. It definitely still holds Its own.
Hey Ryan!! Hope al is about
Do you normally have your ride height that high?
Awesome video as always Ryan. Quick question. Where and how do you route your futaba antenna?
I run an antenna tube! Sorry for the misdirection in the edit portion with it being removed
Just to be clear do you run the b6.1 (not the b6.1d) on carpet and off road? Was wondering how it fared on a loose dirt track versus the b6.1d. It would be nice to have one that did well on both surfaces rather than having to buy both versions.
I should have clarified this in the video! Sorry! I got the B6.1 and grabbed a layback case to go with it in case I wanted a B6.1D! I had plenty of extra idler gears and ball diffs to swap out the gear diff if needed so it was an easy transition.
Ryan Harris ok nice! No big deal thanks! Another question.. I am building the B6.1 and have heard that some are using green slime instead of black grease for the gear diff O rings. What are your thoughts on that?
Super nice vid. So no TLR in your future?😃
Ryan, when your running on the indoor clay tracks what weight diff oil is your go to?
Thanks for all the great videos.
I use ball diffs on dirt tracks. Gear diff gets thrown in for carpet and astro
Ok, have you tried the gear diff on the higher grip dirt? I have a HB D216 with a gear diff and a B6 with a both. In the B6 I have only run the ball diff, but have heard others are starting to use gear diffs on the clay tracks. Thanks.
Awesome vids as always what kind of 2wd buggy kit (that is not very expensive) would you recomend for a beginner trying to get into offroad.
Maybe a used B6? They are probably pretty cheap now!
Any thing else I am only 14 and have two slashes that i could sell ,what kind of hobby wing esc and motor would you reccomend.
Spur/piñon setup? I understand this changes a bit depending on the track but for tight, blue groove any advice with your exact setup?
I notice that you do not have a fan to cool your motor. How so?
Does the Supreme shrink tubing make the car go faster? It has to add at least 12-15 hp
No doubt homie! Haha
What gauge wire do you use on your speed controller? Love the channel!
Do you have a video of boost timing and turbo timing
You have a setup sheet of your own for indoor high bite tracks???
Would you recommend 2wd buggy for a beginner? Or is it too difficult compared to 4wd buggy?
Ryan who does your paint work body looks awesome😊😊😊😊😊
Me! haha It's a fun part of the hobby that I wish more people enjoyed
I just ordered a B6.1D, I’m curious if the lay back is better than a lay down transmission. Also, what wheel bearings do you use?
Very subjective to the type of track . For bearings I use the kit bearings at the moment!
Ryan, when will be the next time you come to Savannah? I may need some beginner advice on my 1/10th sct ... river hobby rh1035 coyote.
I'm not sure... Hopefully the next time Supercup goes!
UA-cam
I Follow Your Heartbeat (Ahlstrom Remix) - Kevin Andersson [2010s Pop Music]
Hmmmm Astroturf racing I reckon
Good guess! But not quite ;)
WHERE can I get that supreme shrink wrap??
Where do you got the supreme shrinking tube from?
La and ocean or something like that idk
I wish! Good guess, but not quite
ITS A BOY!
Hey! Where did u get the Supreme shrinking tube?
Please dear ihs the best and powerful tool for motor model
Buggy 2wd schumacher kd
What do you want to tell me?
What hobby wing esc will be good for. Runing 17.5 class on budget build on b6. 1
Hobbywing Quicrun-10BL120-Sensored HW30125000
Will you ever get into 1/8 Racing?
It's the plan! Hoping before the year is out to be in 1/8 family
Ryan Harris Hope to see running a rc8b3.1 or rc8b3.1e then!👌
Trinity monster motors
How would you go about getting less weight transfer? I loose to much steering when I roll on the throttle. I know it varies on different vehicles I'm just wondering what you would do.
Hmm without seeing the car... the first thing I would try is springs. Maybe go stiffer in the rear?
Mike Burgess RC thicker read sway bar or pin angles.
Painting a new body
You are going to the beach
Are you running anti sway bars on the 6.1?
What mount do you use for your fan motor?
What wing do u run
Next video about tire inserts? :)
Try again ;)
What’s the song
A new color of M&M??
Do you know if the b6.1 Shock towers will work on the b6?
The front one does. I swapped mine.
How do I get some Ryan Harris rc stickers?
We're do you race
Anodizing?
