I like to smell something first and see if I can identify it !! Even if I have read the notes in the past I Typically I forget them anyway with the exception of what it opens with ! I love Violets and have my whole life . The Tea sounds delicious and the fragrance sounds Devine, I actually love a fragrance that stays close ,sometimes that’s just what we need for certain occasions!! I’m in love with my Insolence EDP that I blind bought because of SMURFYGIRLY and can’t wait to wear it more in the cooler weather Love and hugs Frances 💖💖💖
I absolutely adore this scent. It’s fairy like 🧚♀️ perfume for me. Ethereal, feminine, other worldly. I don’t know how to describe the feeling other than it makes me feel like I’m in a fairy garden! ❤️❤️❤️
@@DaVincisAlchemyst i hear you! Took me 2 months to get some orders from europe. indigo perfumery sells the sampler set, but they're currently sold out. I know they and ZGO sell individual spray samples of their scents though
May I ask whether honey is noticeable in this one and whether the opening made you think of “lime” in any way? When you say it made you think of Anchan drink we (I’m Thai) usually prepare it with lime and honey. And I see honey on note listing and got curious whether the perfumer is looking to create “อัญชันน้ำผึ้งมะนาว” (Anchan Honey Lime drink) accord. Great review. Now I feel interest ed in trying it out.
Hello! I didn't get lime. As for the honey, there is a hint of sweetness that possibly could resemble the honey. I wouldn't say the fragrance smells like the drink. I compared it to Anchan because the fragrance made me think of the color of the drink.
I fricking love Utada Hikaru’s COLORS! Omg. Great piano playing 🙌 . Do you have a URL link with regards to this COLORS piano cover somewhere on the likes of Soundcloud or elsewhere?
I love the carroty iris, but I’m not a real fan of the violet. A lot of iris fragrances feel purple to me, too (Iris Ukiyoé by Hermès is like a translucent purple bubble around me). So while I’m not so sure about the violet, the rest of your review sounds absolutely lovely! I’d also like to be an elegant princess! PS: I really like your top!
I really want to try Iris Ukiyoé! Sounds gorgeous. I love putting Splendiris on when I want to feel like a princess--even when I'm wearing sweatpants 😂 And thank you!
Thank you for introducing me to Dusita, Yve; this one sounds very pretty and feminine. I like violet but kind of in small doses. I really like the Douceur de Siam sample you sent me. Such a pretty floral. Also, I purchased a bottle of the Neroli Blanc Intense; I loved the sample you sent so much and saw it had such limited availability, so I grabbed it up. Thank you for widening my perfume palette! 😊
I really enjoyed this review and learned a lot! I am not sure if this one would be for me as I'm not typically a fan of violet, but because it's not a heady floral I might still like it. Thanks, Yve!
Thanks for watching, Tara! The iris might be more dominant on some people (though I can't really say--I haven't seen a lot of reviews on this one). Definitely more fresh than a lot of violet fragrances I've tried.
Amazing review as always. I've never tried any scents from Dusita but hearing you speak about them makes me want to explore. Seems so elegant. I'm not well versed in iris notes bc I'm not a fan of how powdery it can go but one of my faves has a beautiful iris note that isn't too powdery. Al Oudh by L'artisan Parfumeur. Love that one. And obviously, the Fran B ones.
Al Oudh has been on my to-try list for a long time! I need to get on that. Dusita definitely moves me in an emotional way. Once you move back to the states, I'd love to send you some samples and hear your thoughts (I can't really ship internationally with all the mailing problems now.)
Thanks for the review Yve! I really like Dusita, you've turned me on to this one and Pavillion D'or which are definitely next on my to try list! Cheers :)
I purchased it last Saturday; I tried the sample and loved it! thou the longevity is not very good...but this perfume is so different that I think it is full bottle worthy
It's a delicate tea with slightly woody nuances. But i also tried it with a little bit of honey and citrus juice. Sometimes it comes in flower form (dried or fresh); otherwise, it can come as powder form (similar to matcha).
Nice review! I've always wanted to try this one. I love the smell of violets, I need to try it! Take care, Ginny😘😘😘
I think this is a great one for violet lovers!
This sounds so lovely. I had my eye on it since she was taking suggestions for a name. Great review, Yve 😊
I remember when they had that naming contest! I think Splendiris fits the scent perfectly. Thanks, Justin! 😊

That is a perfect description for this. It is very enchanting and fairy like for sure!
I loved this review! Thanks for breaking it down a couple different ways for those of us that can't always make sense of notes🥰
My pleasure! I felt like i was babbling 😂
I really need to get a discovery set!! I love all the aspects of Orris and from your description I really want to check this out. Wonderful Yve 😊
If you ever try out their fragrances, I'd love to hear your thoughts on them--especially Oudh Infini. Thanks, Brandon!
Yve Spiders Smells I just need to find a retailer that sells the discovery kit, shipping from Europe is painful 😖 😝

Love this classy brand, I look forward to trying them all including this one. Thanks for this review Yve! 💛
Thanks, Gids! 🥰
Great review! I wanna try some of these teas you mention!
Thanks, Bryce! If I remember correctly, the tea has a very delicate taste.

Love carrot seed. Amazing in lddm. Enjoyed a real fragrance review
Thanks, Rich Mitch! Reviews are my favorite videos to do so I'm glad to do this one.

I've wondered how they got those drinks so purple. Great review Yve!
Haha, me too! I used to think it was food coloring. Thanks, Dan!
this one sounds nice :) great review!
Thank you Sal! ❤

Thanks, Ben! That means a lot, coming from a poetic reviewer like yourself. 😊
I need to sniff this and try that tea. Great video Yve!
Thanks, J! 😊
A great review Yve! Something about that "lush" description makes me feel like I'm laying on a mountain of soft pillows. 😁 Mmmm LuSH.
Thank you! Splendiris kind of does feel like lying on soft pillows! 😊
Very pretty fragrance
I think so too 😊
One of the nicest iris fragrances I´ve smelled recently: Givenchy Gentleman EDP and Prada L´Homme Intense
Thanks for sharing those, Raul! It's been awhile since I've smelled the Givenchy one, so I'll need to revisit it.
I purchased it last Saturday; I tried the sample and loved it! thou the longevity is not very good...but this perfume is so different that I think it is full bottle worthy
I agree 100%! It's a unique fragrance. Very enchanting.
what does this tea taste like ?

@@yvespiderssmells9956 i will be getting it thank u!
Does it smell like baby powder?
No, not to me
