Just in case you’re still wondering if there’s an official list of gobots that were made for the suits: The gobots that we’re made for the power suits are Turbo, Scooter, Pathfinder, Royal T / Cy-Kill, Crain Brain, Screw Head, Tank.
Here are some Courageous facts. :) - The toy was first released in Machine Robo in this color scheme as "Battle Armor 5." - A second set of combining armor/vehicle pieces was released in Machine Robo with the central piece being a ground vehicle. This "Land Commander 5" wasn't issued in Gobots, although a prototype with the name "Nemesis" was shown in a Tonka catalog. (It is possible that Tonka issued Grungy instead of Land Commander as a cost-saving measure.) - The armor pieces and the Courageous/Grungy gift set came with charts showing which Gobots could fit in which power suit. Somewhere, somebody has scanned this. - The holes in the feet were for launching missiles. These were removed from the Tonka version, probably for safety reasons. - A couple shots of the TV commercial you showed were from the Battle Armor 5 commercial, which is a GORGEOUSLY animated 3-minute short. It's on UA-cam as well: v=nXEZfUGZ524
WOW! That animated short was pretty damn awesome!! Now I want to pull courageous out and see if the fists and weapons fit where it shows in the animated bit!
Those holes in the feet are for missile launchers. Sadly they were removed from the US releases from Tonka because of safety concerns, leaving holes. If you happen to own the original package for Courageous or Grungy you may notice there is an empty slot in the Styrofoam next to the guns, and that's where they would pack the plastic missiles in the Japanese release.
There needs to be a good, modern update to the Gobot Powersuit. Interestingly, Hasbro will be releasing the Cyberverse Bumblebee battle suit and Optimus Maximus battle suit.
I've always wondered why Puzzler was a Renegade combiner. He seems more like a Guardian because of the colors and because the Renegades already have more combiners.
Cool, the concept is different from the normal transformers or even go bot. To bad all go bots couldn't work with the courageous. I kind of wish did we bring something like this out for transformers, but if not maybe something like power rangers carrier zord
I agree!! but Hasbro owns the rights to the show and the names, unfortunately I think Bandai still owns the rights to the toys. Though I suppose hasbro could do something with slight changes.
FOr sure!!! But I find myself more interested with those guys being different characters.. I would be more likely to buy it if it wasn't prime or bee..

Yup, the powersuits are quite cool actually.

Luke Jones There’s a tank type power suit too! 👍

It's be awesome if Hasbro did classics versions of Gobots since they own the Tonka line of toys. Masterpiece Leader-1.
jerman2003 they have the equivalent of a leader 1 masterpiece its called falcon 1 i think $50 at amazon

the animated part of the commercial was made in japan, as part of the "machine robo power suit sistem" commercial

Yup, Courageous is taller than predaking, I put a link in the description, he's got about the same height as scorponok
yesterday I got the Grungy version at a convection.
I never begged for power suits, but are these the Gobots version of Pretenders?
Take care and God bless
Mostly it was the Gobots version of a combiner (Though I'm not sure if it came out before or after monsterous and puzzler)
If I remember correctly the gobot power suit combiners came out first

Are the gobots figures required for the combination?
Nope. It might look a little silly though without them because there isn't much to the power suits. It kinda looks silly with them too though.. so..
WHAT KIND A MUSIC IS THAT?!
I didn't see in UA-cam.
do you know to buy a small foot.
You can get that lubricant off ebay for about $3
that ok because once I went into a flea market I saw a small foot moc.
please review van guard and smallfoot.
I'm sure I can make that happen!
T2rx6 thanks and do you know were to buy a smallfoot and van guard.
science and stuff reviews Outside of ebay, I've got no idea. Sorry I can't help there!
that's ok but do you have a tail pipe and major mo?
science and stuff reviews I know I have a major Mo, but I don't think i've got a tailpipe.
for sure it would look a lot cooler if it were a modern show and toys
How does he scale with CW Devastator?
He is quite a bit smaller than cw devy
@@T2rx6 Ah, I see.
I'm not 100% positive, but I think the power suit is taller but predaking is definitely more bulky. I can check later on.

oh yeh do you have sparky.
I do but i'm uncertain how her (I think it was a her) tires have faired.
T2rx6 yes it is a female gobot with a weird face in toy form.
You can put some G.I. Joe figures in the power suits. 😊
mechanical symbiotes. Man I wish a third party picks this up and produces it.
Gobota was better than transformers
Too bad the articulation isn't that much great.
