When people say Bruce Lee was just a actor? Their ignorance humor's me every time.....the man was a true legend that broke stereotypes and use martial arts as a ideal of expressing the human soul and train of thought. Also, as a unification of race and different cultures.

🙏👊👊 ❤❤ Absolutely. Where his own community would much rather kept knowledge hoarded among themselves, among their own tribesmen, he shattered that mode of thinking, he broke barriers, shared and exchanged knowledge and philosophies inclusive of everyone in the entire the world. To a big degree, the thoughts of his contemporary Khrishnamurti molded his outlook and development of jkd🙏
Films and documentaries till this very day haven't done him justice.
Edit : UFC MMA evolved from this creedo

I guess we will never know how good the late great Bruce Lee was as he only competed in one public fight in Hong Kong it was a boxing match and he won. but the late great Jim Kelly said that in real life fighting that the late great Bruce Lee was untouchable. It's just up to the individuals viewpoint of Bruce Lee's fighting abilities. But l think it's safe to say that he could beat up most people.

I could really tell how happy doing martial arts made bruce lee from experimenting while making jeet kune do to teach and showing others his vision of it he would smile just see the progress people would make while training them in jeet kune do while also being firm enough to show what they are doing wrong and right. He had a way of moving during training where you could see how fluid he was compared to someone he was teaching but also the potential of the student as well no mater the size difference which is one thing he was great at. I am learning more about martial arts and bruce lee just by watching this and feel graced to have found this video.

    Sifu Lee... 1940 to 1973.
    Once in a lifetime person...
You will never have another person like him...
His philosophy transcended race...colour and creed..
JKD is intended to be constantly evolving .
In many facets. Spiritually and physically...
It is also an unspoken metaphor against racial prejudice... how???
Because of the amalgamation of different combat arts..
It wasn't just the so called "China mans way" as the elders in seattle thought it was...
In so much as other arts aren't merely isolated to the race of people it was created by ...
Bruce took the so called mysterious arts and made them accessible to all people...
    Therefore ending racial hate...
OK it didn't but it could be taken as such...
Thank you Bruce for underpinning my life ...
    Oss...

To become a master martial artist one must make their body do anything their mind can comprehend is possible based on what they know about their own body and their own mind.
The keys to becoming a master martial artist are
    Awareness
    Focus
    Power
    Speed
    Agility
    Stamina
    Balance
    and Meditation.

Hey Bruce Lee fans, I am now watching "The Legend Of Bruce Lee" on netflix on episodes 8. Omg, this actor Danny Chan's looks, acts, fight so much like Bruce. Great story about Bruce, 50 episodes, but have to read the subtitle tho.. However, I found on amazon and walmart sell this dvd, I found some are dubbed in English, and do a search for Spanish, etc. I am getting an English for my own collection.

Ya, Bruce was so expressed in life he to show who he really was and his fighting skills, he really an inspiration. Bruce opened up kung fu and martial arts to the world and people follows his fighting skills and philosophy. People will do anything just to be in the movies, get paid and put food on the table. But Bruce rather starved if he can't express himself in the movies. Now how many people in this world will do that (zero)?

    • @xyon9090

Jimmy C People comment that the Netflix series drives away so much of what REALLY happened in reality in Bruce's life.

Entrepreneurship!!!!!!! Dreamer!! In life no one plans to fail but too many take things for granted so they fail to plan!! Entrepreneurs work hard and Bruce proved it 100%!!! Jobs are hard to come by! It's proven back then and still true!! If you have a job now.. start planning ahead !! Be water by leveraging shopping as supplemental income to carry you on when your job becomes extinct!!! Prescription drugs don't work!! The toxin will kill you before you know it!!!

the fluidity and performance of this art requires a higher conciousness and can be acquired by anyone. we are all the same wether we measure one , two , or all . i think bruce utilized an underlying energetic feild that is formless and what we would call our reality, it is the air you are breathing the air that resists your movements and the air you need . think of yourself punching underwater . the water will resist strongly on a fist but resist less for a sleeker open palm punch. now that is left right up and down much like this physical reality is and behaves like except with air perhaps. and energetically theres is a capability you can acquire in martial arts where the speed is like splitting an atom or creating a vaccum. you cannot mentally decide to strike and acquire this because this is a try and when you try you do not use your energetic influence. thats where the physical controls your mind. there is no mind and you control the physical. eat high vibrational foods drink non flouridated or any non chemical high ph water you can find, meditate, wake up energetically and see for yourself.

the great mistake is to anticipate the outcome of the engagement. you ought not to be thinking... of whether it ends in victory or defeat; but let nature take its course... and your tools will strike at the right moment. the consciousness of self is the greatest hindrance... to the proper execution of all- the knowledge and skill you have achieved are meant to be forgotten. so you can float- to obtain enlightenment in martial art... means the extinction of everything which- the way to transcend karma lies in the proper use of the mind and the will. jeet kune do is not to hurt... but is one of the avenues through which life opens its secrets to us. relaxation is essential... for faster and more powerful punching. let your lead punch shoot up "loosely and easily." do not tighten up or clench your fists... until the moment of impact. all punches should end with a snap several inches... behind the target. the art of jeet kune do is simply to simplify. It favors formlessness so that it can assume all forms. kung fu, karate, tae kwan do. all the classical styles are attempts... to arrest the flux of conflict. but in actual combat, the opponent doesn't wait for formalities. he's not a robot, but a human being, fluid and alive. for instance- for instance! like a sculptor who doesn't keep adding clay to a statue... but strips away the inessentials until the truth is revealed. I have developed a way of fighting with no fixed positions... with no set movements. the fancy mess of martial arts... solidifies what was once fluid. It is nothing but blind devotion to the systematic uselessness... of routines that lead nowhere.
    - Bruce Lee

Would it be possible to translate the documentary into Italian?

Hi Francis, on settings of the video you have the possibility to auto-generate Italian automatic subtitles. At this moment there are no custom Italian subtitles for this video. I hope it helps.
