I have owned a variety of slings or fanny packs that I use crossbody (in fact I’ve watched many of your guys’ reviews prior to purchasing a majority of them) but thought I would come back to this video to note that this hip pack from Patagonia has been my go-to EDC for the past 2 years, and nothing can get me to change my mind! Yes it has a small capacity at only 1L, but I find that because of the soft material, it can hold nearly as much as thicker bags that are labeled for twice the capacity while still maintaining a sleek profile. The 2 compartments are perfect for my needs, and the padding on the back makes the world of a difference on days where the bag doesn’t leave my body. Especially at only $35, I would recommend this bag to anyone looking for a small EDC!! (For reference, in the front pouch I carry a Tide pen, bandaids, a tampon, Benadryl, ibuprofen, chapstick, utility knife, and a small USB C charger. In the main compartment, I carry my phone, keys, wallet, AirPods, portable charger, and occasionally my sunglasses or a granola bar)
For real. I’m not one of these EDC dorks (still a dork tho), but this thing would be hard pressed to hold the contents of my hip pockets on a daily basis, much less the things I’d want to cram into it on a flight.

I have the old model. They need a 2L model as this can't hold much.
Hey sdnalyam - thanks for sharing your experience with the community. Despite the size, is this hip pack still your current go-to? 😊
