I think the best line from the movie is in the next scene where Liam is torturing the guy for information and the guy is kind of crying saying "I don't know". Then Liam tells him, "I believe you" (pause) "but it won't save you"..... (Turns on the electricity and walks out of the room)
Especially talking about torturing people in countries where the power cuts on and off for hours at a time and in these big nice countries you turn it on and it stays on there until lack of payment
this is the scariest line. Talking to a dad half the world away thinking he's full of it is one thing; then having two days latter, having him standing right next to you and telling you "i told you i'd find you". It's when you know you're FKed up and it's too late.
Only in Hollywood can a man enter a room with half a dozen hardened, violent criminals and “assess” the room and the moods in a form and fashion that makes anyone believe he’s not completely f*cked. A team of trained Navy SEALs could breach and take that room in reality, sure, but in Hollywood, Liam, Denzel, and Keanu can take them all out with a look and a pencil…Some of these franchises, I just can’t understand their popularity. Well, I can in a facetious manner, as in the Wick franchise they don’t seem to take themselves too seriously. The choreography is also fantastic and Reeves does train legitimately in Jiu-Jitsu and with firearms, which give his look and movement some sense of legitimacy in reality. This movie went into La-La Land after this scene and into the next two films. Denzel and his magic watch was stupid from jump.
*Over the phone* "I will find you and I will kill you." *Thinking* "Yeah, whatever. He's on the other side of the world. He can't touch me. Nothing worth remembering here..." *Two days later...* ^ ^ ^ ^ ^
Remind me of an incident happened in my province where a teenage daughter of a middle age man got kidnapped, raped and killed. The culprit got sentenced life term and he got parole after few months. Devastated father shoot the guy in parole with a shotgun and killed him. Due to a huge support from the public and the sentiments against the judiciary for giving parole in few months, court had let him go. He is seen as a hero in the public.
I swear to God. A huge chill ran down my spine at this moment when Liam said those words and that Villain finally realized who Liam was and what situation he was in.
To those who don’t know the meaning behind this, the man who handed the other man the papers daughter was kidnapped by the man who was given the paper. Before his daughter was kidnapped the kidnapper called the man and said “you won’t find me, goodluck” and in order to find the kidnapper the father would have to trick the kidnapper into saying goodluck in order to confirm it was him. You should watch the movie, it’s really good Rated : PG-13 (I’m not very good at explaining)
Honestly, this scene in combination with that song gave me goosebumps! He talked to everyone in the table to hear their voice, and the only person who didn't speak was Marco. So, Liam gave to him to translate. His intelligence, his bravery, his skills and devotion leave me speechless every time!

The best part of this movie was when he plunged the metal spikes into the guys thighs, attached the battery cables, switched on the electrical current and after the guy started screaming in agony said it'll continue until the power company discontinues service due to lack of payment.
“We spoke on the phone 2 days ago”. “Look, I’m having a cash flow problem right now. I’ll pay my phone bill next week”. “No! I’m the guy who threatened to brutally murder you”. “Sorry pal, I don’t remember”.

The first Taken was an amazing watch. Most men loved it simply because it scratched the itch we all have for being protectors of our families.
Absolutely right!
This is a fact
Liam's eyes sell the scene. He accesses the room after he knows its him. He quickly checks everyone's distance and demeanor.
this movie is agreat action movie... Liam is great

The scene was cut short, but basically he says, “I told you I would find you”, and then hilarity ensues.
Yeah, that was a truly great prank. Got em!
Yeah they also show the flashbacks where he said "good luck" on the phone right after he says it to Mills.
And then he opens up a can of Whoop Ass!
Gotta love it when Hilarity and Suz get there! Those b*tchəz know how to party!
