Thank you! You saved me
Worked like a charm on my G1 90Hp Etec
Did my 150HP Etec. Easy stuff.
Great video
You dont need to change lower unit gear oil?
@atlanticoutboard I have different gauges, does it matter or should I follow the same sequence? Thank you.
Depends on what gauges. Let us know which ones we can try and help!
Just asking... why not just hook a hose to the hose intake on the engine, like the manual says to do?
In our experience it does not provide enough water to the water pump, thus causing the impeller to weaken and shorten it's usable life.
Does what stay in the pump and power head? I live in northern Michigan. Don’t want water to freeze and crack everything.
@@brentwilson2264 Just raise and lower the engine a few times and all remaining water will siphon out. I live in Canada where it goes down to -25C and never had any issues at all.
Does it matter if the engine has been running before you do this? Also why remove the intake screens?
What does it mean when the side control button won’t allow me to go to full throttle neutral?
Does this also fog the cylinders?
yes
Does it empty the system for fuel?
