Introducing KEY FX...

- Going down the rabbit hole into our new multi-effect plugin. We have extracted 'Key FX' from Crow Hill instruments, such as Demon Drops, Circuit Drums, and Concussion. We thought this feature was being wasted only on percussion instruments, so we have made it available to use on anything! Working in Cubase, Christian has fun exploring this performance-led plugin, showcasing the many functions, controls, and effects of Glitch, Distort, and Freeze.
NOTE: This is currently only available to those who already own Concussion Drums or those who purchase Concussion Drums before September 1st.

Dude. I need this. This is incredible. Take my money.
06:37 I was wondering about that so it's good to know that it's possible. I must say that I'm really excited about The Crow Hill Company's progressive direction and its potential. I'm a mere hobbyist but I find a lot of inspiration from your products.
I’m loving this concept. Can’t wait to play with it.
Two things interest me about this plugin. One is that much as I am a control freak with the parameters of my effects chains, this seems a cool way to make the process more part of the performance itself.
It seems intuitive, with a human / humanised element to the effects by way of timing and choices, and encouraging quick switching and mixing between very different effects. This doesn’t happen much ordinarily as it’s fiddly to do ‘on the fly’ as a ‘performance’.
The other thing is that this plugging has the potential to drastically increase the variables of your own effects chains and other plugins and maybe add some of these performance or humanised elements to it, with completely different outcomes depending where this plugin is placed on your signal path too. Very cool.👍😎
Wow, that is totally interesting! 👍
Nice! A rate octave below the FX selection octave would be an amazing future feature. Love the keyswitch style FX rack, though. Puts the "automation" in the piano roll.
Would be awesome if you could reconfigure the order in which FX are stacked when using multiple key switches at the same time!
Hello! Is it possible to change currency when buying from your website or pounds are the only way to go? In Brazil things are pretty rough and dollar would be much appreciated. I know that the final price kinda gets compensated, but anyway, we can get a little bit of mercy maybe with dollars conversion. Thanks!
This is so avantgarde ! Love it !
pretty cool, what would be awesome is if you could change the rate with another octave. in combination could create a real performance. ✌😎
I had the same thought @jondis! Seems like a no-brainer. Make it a trifect and have a Mix % mapped to another octave, do it all from MIDI.
@@musicbywalsh good idea, i think the mod wheel might be good for mix. just riffing here ✌😎
I was about to make this same suggestion
5:20 you need to turn the rate into a wammy key, so people can manipulate it with either individual keys, or at an increase or decrease tempo with two keys
Feature request...Different rates in different octaves so no mouse clicks are needed at all?
Hmm.. I got the email about it (having bought Concussion Drums last month) and logged into my account, but don't have it in my Downloads amongst my other owned stuff.
Likewise
bought on August 23, same problem.

Faffing around indeed
Similar to Artillery from sugar bytes. I like the idea
Looks great - will this work with Luna...?
Really good idea! I have previously bought Concussion and have just had a look on the website but can't see where to access KEY FX from. Can you point me in the right direction? Also, I really liked that progression or sequence you were playing Christian. Did you make that up on the hoof for the walkthrough or is it from something you have written previously?

@@paultwist1823 Ah yes! Thank you so much Paul. Found it :)
The whole ‘login and it will be in your downloads’ thing isn’t happening. Concussion drums is in there though.
We’re working on it. Sorry some new code at our end worked for about 80% of you.
@@TheCrowHillCo cheers guys
@@TheCrowHillCo All sorted now thanks again :)
Similar to native instruments The Finger
😂 thought the same!
How do you download this if you already had Concussion Drums installed?

It’s a great concept that I haven’t seen before…squawking brill…thanks 🙏🙏🏿👏👏👍
@@desoconnor7445 Glad to help but I should point out that I don't work for Crow Hill so the praise should be sent to them
It's not that good, all been done before over the years for free
no no, you obviously don't understand. everything they do is the 'BEST EVER'. 😛
I think the compressor is worth the price alone. 😜
@@TheCrowHillCo Fab Filters Comp can't really be beaten
This is also free…for now. It’s a gift for customers of our latest percussion release, utilising a dozen custom made effects processes. 🙌🏻
Overpriced and convoluted and confusing product for I’ve to get their hands on. Good luck! 👎🏻
