Great review Anthony! I have always liked the 4Runner a lot. There are for sure better alternatives out there but the 4Runner really is legend. I've heard that here it is hard to find a new one that is not marked up over the sticker price which would not work for me. Hope that you are doing great and happy Friday eve to you!
They don’t have any markups here but I’m sure others have them which is crazy on something that depreciates. I almost bought a 4Runner a couple times but ended up with a Jeep for a while than Lincoln and Infiniti now for the third time. Everything is great and now starting to wear a hat as the sun is out. Thanks James
what alternatives?
I own a 2017 Toyota 4Runner, and I just love it. I haven't had any real problems with it yet, and ir drives superb.I will probably get 1 million miles on it before i get rid of it, or before it gets rid of me.
@@IrvingHeidt that’s awesome congratulations and thanks for sharing
I just went on a road trip with my new 2024 limited. On I-90 for 250 miles I averaged 20.5 mpg
Nice comfortable ride. My only issue was returning on the same freeway it got real windy and the ride felt unstable at 70 mph so I had to slow down
But other than that I loved it, plus it’s a Toyota
Thank you for sharing
I just bought a blue one. They're very nice.
@@jackd6148 thanks for sharing and congratulations
Have a 2020 Limited. Highly recommended!
They are awesome congratulations and thanks for sharing
I wouldn't say the TRD Pro is the top of the line 4Runner, depends on what you want out of your 4Runner. The Limited has full-time 4wd with a locking center diff, heated and cooled seats, and that redwood leather interior is only available on the Limited. My daughter has a TRD ORP in Lunar Rock, my wife has a RAV4 XLE in Lunar Rock, and the black interior in both cars looks kind of boring. I saw that redwood leather interior in the Limited and thought it looked great, a very nice-looking alternative to black.
@@robertbrooks1598 thanks for your insight 👍
I absolutely love my 04 with the V8. 160k miles. Runs like new.
@@stephenfitzsimmons8837 thanks for the insight
V8 2004 with 230,000 miles...runs great unfortunately the frame is rusted and I feel unsafe....too bad because I love this vehicle.
Do you have to use the USB cable to utilize CarPlay? I have to in my 2023. Are the cameras more high def, or the same as 2023?
Wire and the same camera
take this over the 2025.
@@georgioantoine4194 they are both nice but this one is awesome
How does it not have a power lift gate at that price and trim?
You have to go up another trim with Toyota they have a lot of different trims but you can add features to each trim level.
I asked that same question of the dealer that I got my '23 Limited from. I traded in a '22 Explorer ST that had a power lift gate, and the dealer told me that because the back window of the Toyota can go up and down, it weighs too much to be powered.
@@robertbrooks1598 They seem to have figured it out for that 2025 4 Runner. It can be had with a power lift gate.
Because the rear window is powered in the back. It was one or the other at first. Nothing special about a power trunk for me because its a utility vehicle, NOT A VAN. Also that feature was one of the first on a van to begin with. Useless to me.
It sad the new 2025 gonna lost the V6
@@gamelauncher9821 I agree
Impressive off-roading abilities
Lots of cargo room
Long list of standard features
Cons
Outdated interior
Poor on-road ride and handling
Subpar fuel economy
Unrefined transmission
Good points
You’re going to love the new one then😀😀
why you say the 2024 limited 4 runner is 5000 lbs of towing capacity and the other video dealer guy says is 6300? Who is wrong? you or the other guy or Toyota Specifications Manufacture?
@@geronimopascuale9208 I don’t know what Toyota website your or going to but here it is and I am 100% correct.

@@HawkeyeRides Vagabondbuilds is another dealer person that said that but he corrected because he made a mistake. You got it right. I appreciate your info. Cheers
@@HawkeyeRides Hi. Is @vagabondsbuilds dealer who comented on the towing capacity but he is wrong and you are Right sir. He is apologizing in the mistake he made. we are Humans and we are allow to make them
@@geronimopascuale9208 it’s all good, I gave you a thumb up on the last comment.
@@HawkeyeRides I did not see it. Cheers
I feel the headroom is not enough, you seem pretty tight head wise. Seem like you fit ok, but not super comfortable either in the second row or front. Second row seemed tighter and I wonder were your eye line would be. Front seat ok, acceptable for long trips? Don’t get me wrong this is an amazing car. But is it for tall people between 6-2 and 6-4 not sure
@@sugarkingfpl I’m 6’3 and don’t have a problem with driving and visibly or comfort 👍
Got it, how do you fit on GH and Hylander compared to 4Runner ? Thanks from your feedback
@@sugarkingfpl the GH was a little better than the 4Runner but with Toyota all vehicle the seat has a high position so I put the seat back another inch or two this way I don’t hit the sunvisor. Doing this also helps with having more visibility out of the front windows. The GH has a better seat bottom too.
@@HawkeyeRidesdo you know if limiteds come without sunroof these days ?
