Immortal child just wants his freaking mom back but I'm sadistic and everyone around him will die so haha. Yes I'm actually going to finish this one. This was just an update video to tell everyone I'm not dead! It just takes a while for me to animate. TToTT

So because I'm procrastinating on my homework and I've gotten a lot of comments wanting to know more about this character I'm just gonna put a little description of him here.
His name is Toro and he's "10" years old. His real name is long forgotten and he just calls himself the first thing that comes to his head. He's been alive since the 10th century and doesn't know how or why he's suddenly lost his mortality. He believes that his immortality was some kind of Divine Punishment, so he roamed the world in search of any religion that could cure him. He's experienced or witnessed almost every major event in human history and supernatural history. He's been used for war, he's been used for terror attacks, and he's been tortured and experimented on like an animal. All he wants is to go home and die. Now, after a thousand years of bullshit, he's dead inside and is saltier than the Dead Sea. He doesn't try to make friends unless they can benefit him somehow; he takes whatever he wants and doesn't care about who or what it could hurt. He's come to the conclusion that there is no God and his immortality puts him on a higher level than everyone else. So he's a narcissistic bastard who does whatever he wants at the expense of any physical pain to himself or others. It gets worse when he realized that if he dies in a way that destroys his brain, he can come back with amnesia and forget about the hundreds of years of pain and loss he's suffered. He can start over. So if he finds himself in another dead end situation with a family he doesn't like then he'll "reset" himself and just run off to start over brand new.
fun right? There are reasons why I enjoy torturing him so much, it's because he deserves it and he's a horrible person. A lot went down in those thousand years and he isn't the innocent boy you see above.

@@blank7146 He can't catch it, the butterfly is like death because if you see the eyes at 0:15 you see 2 are blue because they are mortals and the last one is immortal (btw it's her mother), and he got "cursed" by her mother and now is alive and can't die but just reset

I’ve seen a lot of good animations in my time, but none of them.
I repeat.
None of them are close to being as good as this one.
I’m not even sure why this one fills me with an emotion with no word. I...i can’t seem to understand that this is really happening before my eyes. I feel his pain, his innocence wavering before draining down until he’s a broken being. And just how he’s trying to find religions, how he was switching, and the war helmet at the last one, and the blue butterfly..
And his friends he had to let go because life would not allow them to continue their journey with him...
And I feel so heartbroken. I really want UA-cam to watch this, so they can SEE the freaking effort put into this. I can only imagine how your stylus scribbles across the tablet. I can’t stop watching this. Like I literally can not. And I’m never like this with videos, i tell you.
I need...I really really need to see the rest of the animation! I just want to see where this boy goes okay, it’s like you left me on a cliffhanger ;-;...
Could you...maybe try and continue it? Like some people suggested making playlists on auto play, I think that’s a good idea. Some editing might be needed but I think it’s worth it. Someone with this much talent held in their fingers like sand from the ocean can’t be turned down by UA-cam.

Ik you said this 6 months ago but I just want to say he is immortal and that blue butterfly is meant to symbolise death (I think) and when he sees those people transforming into others, the last person who is a woman, he says mommy. She died like the rest of them. I can't remember where I saw the proper explanation but yeah :P

I have come to the conclusion that the butterfly you see above is some sort of metaphor for morality or something. You see as he chases after it but never lands on it but the other figure you see in the video has the butterfly land of their fingers (they are actually touching it) and you see that the butterfly go towards them, (meaning it was time for them to go??) And avoids Toro, not giving him the mortality he wants

I know Im late but may I just say that this tells so much story in so little time its breath taking. I admire the detail and subtlety you put into this. And the animation tops it off so nicely. Its really crappy that such detailed and fine videos like this dont get recognized, and honestly my video doesnt need as much attention as it has and if I could I'd have this one be viewed more because it truly deserves it. Hopefully this does get attention soon. It really needs it.

Even though Toro is described as bad person by the author I think that after so many centuries we all would turn into monsters. I think it's tragic that so many of us lust for immortality while not knowing what hell would await us.
Since I turned 13 this year, I've started to have these "Visions" of a story. It formulates heavily whenever I listen to music, and it just brings this purpose to my life. I have never told anyone about these so called "Visions" so congratulations! You're the first people to learn about them, even if it means pretty much nothing to you.
I hope I can bring the story to everyone one day, and inspire others. To do it, like I was inspired by this video right here to tell you all. I will stop at nothing to bring these Visions to the books, and along the way even learn how to draw. It's a dream, but every dream is a start.

I’ve had the same thing since I was little, whenever I find a song I like these uncontrollable little videos of stories I create in the moment appear and so I write stories about the characters and dive into their life for a while. It’s really exciting whenever I get one because it’s a whole new story

Thank you ;o; aaah the butterfly is a metaphor for what Toro (the boy) wants most. It varies at different points of his immortality and it's always just out of reach. It's the same concept in my Hot Milk video~

making an animation is hard. Animators have to draw it frame by frame from scratch. So it isn't fair that you said "finally a real animation that doesn't repeat every 5 secs".
