Great move, I am surprised at how many people are saying the Knicks gave up too much? but they are the same people who were ready to trade 5 or more picks plus Randle, McBride and others for an over the hill Paul George whos 34 and always injured? the best moves are the ones you dont see coming, thank goodness the Knicks didn't trade for PG. Leon Rose is doing a great job building this team methodically.

I'm not so sure. I tend to be a bit of a pragmatist when it comes to trades so my takes tend to be a little stingy. hear me out though.
The Net/Net is Bridges is replacing D Vincenzo on the floor.
Thinking back on how good Ragu was in that spot it's really hard to imagine someone being that much of an improvement.
If IHart doesn't return we weakened the center postion considerably.
So in effect Bridges woul be compensating for the production of Both IHart and Ragu
Making his (Ihart's) replacement the x-factor as to whether this was a net positive.
I totally get the fact that this move makes the bench incredibly strong, but that advantage is mitigated a bit because of the way Thibs tends to use them.
My take comes from the perspective that you can only have five guys on the floor at the same time. So my robot brain says we replaced the production of one guy with another guy and removed the center entirely.
Adam and Doug will probably hate me for jumping ship. Ever since the Sonics were disbanded in 08 I've never really had a favourite team. I've just followed my favourite player in terms of which team I follow. A little embarrassing to admit, but still suprisingly easy to do when you live in another country. Being an Aussie, I followed Patty Mills from San Antonio to Brooklyn, but he's finished now. Mikal became my favourite player whilst following Brooklyn, so.....I'm now a Knicks fan, and a new subscriber here.
I will say this though. You guys have a lot to live up to after watching Adam and Doug for last couple years. They really know their stuff. So much so that I will continue to watch Locked On Nets, and follow Brooklyn. But I'll now be rooting for the cross town rival. 😂 Always loved watching Brunson. Love Josh Hart's obvious passion for the game. But now Mikal is there......let's go Knicks.

IMHO the Knicks gave 1 too many unprotected picks. They still need to make OG their priority who made everyone around him (especially Julius Randall) better and hope Isaiah is more interested in winning a title with the Knicks than getting paid elsewhere‼️🤟🏽😎🏀
The problem was Bridges was desperately wanted by other contending teams , Knicks had to pay what they paid to get him.

My $.02‐-I specifically watched Bridges after his superior performance. At World practice games last summer. I thought Bridges perf declined as year wore on. To point at end of yr--were is he. Bridges is a little weak and tends to disappear. I would have made this trade, but I am a bit more wary. Don't and hart might be better players.

It's mostly draft picks and don't belittle Bogie. He averaged the same amount as Bridges at 19 per.

Not even close. Mikal is overrated and not a star. If he is your 2nd best player, you’re not winning anything. He is the 3rd best player on a good team and the 4th best player on a true contender. 5 picks is wild.
