NBC inside look at Super Nintendo World
• Inside look at Univers... - Ігри
To anyone concerned, the toontuber isn't gonna overtake all salts. It'll mostly be to get some videos out faster and save the animation for standalone videos or bigger salts
I wanna be able to upload more frequently while still being able to socialize and have free time
That's cool! It's a nice change to have the toontuber sometimes, and it gives you more time to touch grass!
I think the Toontuber is cute. And it emotes perfectly alongside you.
I don’t mind it.
even if it did, im sure most wouldnt mind. its literally so cute
Im not just saying this, the Toontuber aspect works very well!
Your the only one im aware that does it in video format so who knows, could be a semi-new genre you to lead :)
The benefits of being a nice person in line, you get to walk away knowing you weren’t an asshole to the people working
I actually work at Universal and thank you for people who aren't mean. It can't be that hard to do, right?
@@JoshuaDiaz You'd think so. It feels so easy to those of us that do it, yet so many struggle with the practice of common decency.
So wild that people immediately got mad, at disney world we were left in line for two hours and not a soul left. Guess that’s the disney magic of people putting up with stuff.
TRUE
@@astrowolvez last winter, my mom and my sister waited in line for around 3 hours to get on the Ratatouille ride at Epcot. Not me, I don’t wait longer than half an hour. Unless it’s something I REALLY want, then I can give up to two hours if I’ve gone to the bathroom recently.
Now that I know it has achievements, I keep imagining people doing 100% speed runs of the park.
The most expensive speedrun in a long while
I think I remember Alpharad doing that with riding all the rides in one day in Disneyland
Oh my god
I may not have a brain fellas, but I do have an idea
@@pressed_stone skipping the lines requires you to be violent,so the most expensive and violent speedrun
The real villain for Super Nintendo World isn’t Bowser…
It’s American Airlines.
American Airlines stole the real cupcakes and replaced them with shit ones, prove me wrong!
The true final boss is Karen and her son
@@MadWeegee *Gasp!* Karen Jr.?!
you are saying that in front of someone who lives 2 states away and can drive there. yes, i live in utah.
so technically i can just drive there but i wont asap.
No dude, trust me. the fact that you went without any VIP privileges is great! You set a a more realistic expectations unlike all the theme park influencers who show an unrealistic experience without crowds and lines. I thank you for this lol
Yea now that I think about it, it does add to the realism that people would expect
As a normal persona who is just finishing high school with no real big deals, it helped me plan out a future trip to this place
Wow sometimes being not sponsored actually can be a plus😮
Forgot to mention that the restrooms are themed to the ocean levels of Mario games.
I feel bad for the cheep cheeps.
@@11clocky i mean they got them thicc lips tho~ 😏

Well now I wanna see American Airlines with a side of salt
More like a ton of salt
It can't be with a side of salt because the whole thing is made of salt
American airlines straight from the salt factory
"American Airlines with enough salt to give a blue whale a heart attack"
@@Hiro101american airlines but its only salt
At first I was wondering where the side of salt was, then Scott mentioned the airlines and everything made complete and total sense. At least you didn't have to go through *_customs_* . . .
What we all dread.
What’s that?
The side of salt was the misbehaving children, Karens, maintenance, and Peach cake.... you sure you watched the video?
@@nomoretwitterhandles r/whoosh
@@aegisScale you consider that a woosh? the only joke in your comment was the part where you didnt realize where the “salt” was until the end. and they just told you where the rest of it was.
one thing you should have totally mentioned was the Pikmin hidden around the park! Literally the most substantial thing Pikmin got until Pikmin 4 of course!
Oh shit fr gotta look out for them
My favorite part of my trip was when my little brother appeared face to face in front of Doug Bowser and stood frozen for a good 5 seconds. Then he kept stuttering his words trying to ask for a picture, which then my mom had to get in and ask him if he was able to, and he was happy to
Then the both of them got a good picture together and my little brother just stayed flabbergasted throughout the whole day
I find it interesting that the bands are amiibo and also you can find secrets. Truly a wonderful park I would love to go to either!
I find it neat that they accidentally referenced Newer Super Mario Bros Wii by putting in a Cactus that resembles a background object from that hack.
Also imagine a Super Smash Bros ride akin to the Funtastic World of Hanna Barbera or Jimmy Neutron’s Nicktoon Blast
which cactus?
That’s only in japan
Can't wait to see the Super Nintendo World speedruns. I'm especially interested in seeing what skips they manage to come up with.
Super Nintendo World: Any% Glitchless
I want to see the 100% NSR route
I work at universal studios the greatest achievement you can unlock is when your nice to the team members we just wanna have a chill day too.
Glad you enjoyed the park Scott we all appreciate you and all the other guests who treat us with respect
Heya, I visited the Japanese park and I think what most people miss about the princess peach cake is that the Japanese version cake is made for like 4 people and it costs pretty expensive like 3,000 yen (probably even more expensive if made in the American parks), it is not a single desert you just throw onto your burger. And I think that is probably why they went with a cupcake here.
Bro I'd spend 20 bones on a cake
Seeing the fanart of you at Nintendo World at the end made me happy, because...
THEY MADE YOU LOTSA SPAGHETTI!
Scott you proved that being being a human being with basic compassion for staff can sometimes reward you with nice things. Best example for me was drive thru at Arby's when I was grabbing my drink the lid popped off and some soda spilled out. The cashier was panicking but I told him not to and I didn't need a refill (it was a large and not much spilled). The guy was so thankful and same with the manager they gave me a free extra sandwich just for not complaining.
Also now I want to go to Nintendo World and see kids fail at the games, can't always be the nice guy.
The land itself is both overwhelming and underwhelming, but still a fun visit. I went for the first time during their technical rehearsal phase and had a pretty good time experiencing it all. One thing that upset me was when I went there was no Yoshi's Adventure ride which I was hoping we would get. To truly get a full experience of the land, people have to buy the Power-Up Bands if they wanna play any of the games or hit the blocks scattered throughout. However; I do like that there's more interactive elements in Super Nintendo World than Hogsmead. Also, I would like to add that Bowser Jr's Challenge is not exclusively to those who have obtained three keys or to those with Power-Up band as I've seen people play the game without a band.
When I go back to Super Nintendo World, it would most likely be on a weekday and during the offseason because it'll get a little too crowded that you'd have to wait long lines just to hit a block.
That ending really has me wanting a “American Airlines with a side of salt” video now. Horrible to hear that happened, and I wanna hear the whole story.
I remember I was there the day you were there. I was looking at the leaderboard and I saw “ScottFalco” and I was like “wait that sounds familiar” then I looked you up on UA-cam and I was like “OH! THATS THE SALT GUY 😂”
I was surprised when he mentioned the kids being so ill behaved. And then I realized a couple minutes later that he didn’t go to Osaka. American children are hellspawn
It was just just a wonderful experience for Scott and I'm glad he had a good time
I really like how he went into detail with a lot of the attractions here. I actually want to check this place out one day.
I honestly love the ToonTuber! It's very neat and it helps Scott make vids faster, it's a win-win! Plus, the salts feel like they get more love and dedication overtime, keep it up!
tbh, as a german it was a whip lash hearing a german word come from Scotts mouth, ah yes Schadensfreude its such a great thing
Scott making the joke about pushing a child is why I got up this morning 😂
Welcome back, Scott!
I’ve been wanting to go to Super Nintendo World for a while, so this’ll help me know what to look out for!
Man, this was a way better breakdown than I've heard from so many others, but American Airlines really can suck it. Glad it didn't taint the experience overall, but God, that would've honestly soured the whole thing for me even if it had nothing to do with Nintendo World. Good on you, Scott.
I love how Scott became a theme park and food reviewer in one video
I went yesterday, and you actually didn't have to reserve to get in. It seems on the least busiest days they're not concerned about reservations. But when it comes to spring, summer break and weekends. Reservations will be a must.
I don’t think I’ve ever been excited for anything Mario related (i didn’t get to grow up with it), but holy shit this looks like so much fun!
That talking toad is going to be the parents hell, that voice is going to make them tear their ears off, i am actually sorry for them
5:27 Bro I feel about that American airlines crap.
My mom was stuck in Vermont for a week after her flight to New York got canceled due to “blizzard like conditions.”
Her luggage also got taken away, along with her phone and wallet, and of course they were always “too busy” for her to file a complaint and get it back. So the only way she could contact us was either via payphone, or a half decent human being taking pity on her.
Thankfully, eventually she managed to get ahold of their boss. They cleared things up, gave all her stuff back, and she got back home safely… but come on…
She’s typically the nicest, sweetest, most optimistic person you’ll ever meet. But after she came home that week, I had never seen anyone with a worse mood than hers.
TL;DR American airlines screwed over my mom, they can all go suck it.
Honestly, the thing I love most about Universal is how they do the waiting areas so well.
Glad you had fun Scott....also bonus points for being a nice guy.❤️❤️❤️
>goes to a kiddie park. >annoyed when kiddies are there.
Never change Scott, never change.
During a school week? Hell no.
I love how in toadstool cafe if you sit there long enough (every like 10 mins) bowser comes and destroys the toads on the videos in the windows that werent windows
also my mario kart game also broke right before getting on lol
4:33 love how you can barely hear anything over 100 people talking
I had the tiramisu in Japan, that was NOT IT. The flag pole cake was really good tho
Not gonna lie, I was hoping for this one but never expected to get it.
Same

Oh boy, looking forward to _American Airlines with All The Salt..._
American Airlines with a box of salt
The true enemy of the Mushroom Kingdom was the Karens we were subjected to along the way.
I kinda wanna see an American Airlines with a side of salt
they're like United's little brother, learning how make people hate them by imitation
Nice use of the toontuber. I'm glad you're able to save time by using him, and he's still pretty good.
Wahoo! This actually looks really fun. I kinda hope they add more Nintendo
Thankfully there’s going to be a Donkey Kong expansion with a Donkey Kong Country themed roller coaster coming soon. It’s scheduled to open in 2024 at Universal Studios Japan and then at the new Epic Universe theme park in Orlando once that opens in summer 2025.
Ok but the fact the workers gave Falco some water and jellybeans as a “hey man, thanks for apologizing for things others are doing, not you. Thanks for not being an d*ck about it too. Have some jellybeans and something to keep you hydrated!” 🥺
In all honesty it's kind of a nice thing to a travel log without vip benefits as it gives us plebians an idea of what to expect of our trips.
I was at the park last week (really fun!), the only things I haven't done was the Piranha mini-game and eat at the Toadstool Cafe.
Assuming you have the Power-Band ($40, and you have to RSVP to get in SNW first before they allow you to buy one) & the Universal Studios Hollywood app, there are 4 mini-games you can play right away and win the keys from 3 of your choosing, with Bowser Jr.s' challenge as the 5th mini-game.
My party tried to get into the Toadstool Cafe after we got off of the Mario Kart ride (long line & it broke down for an extra 30 minutes - the line & ride itself was enjoyable though), the staff at the front said they were booked for the rest of the day. My guess is that you RSVP at the front of the cafe as soon as you get into SNW.
The 1-Up Factory in SNW isn't the only Mario-themed shop, there are plenty of shops that sell Mario merch:
- I don't recall the name of the area, but it's Universal's equivalent to Downtown Disney
- After walking through the front gate, I think there are two shops on the left that sell Mario merch, and one shop on the right
- Descending to the Lower Lot via escalators, there's a Mario themed shop & snack stop
Not all of these shops sell the same Mario merch, some items are exclusive to each place. The first shop on the right when entering Universal, I think was the only one that was selling these Question Block Lamps - and it didn't look like they were selling them, but rather on display (out of the box); you'll have to ask the cashier for that.
I’m very glad you had fun at that Mario park bro.😺
Those kids needed to be held back by park security.
My mom promised me that we can go to Nintendo World next next summer, so I'm excited to try it then 😄
Oh I’m afraid she lied so you would shut up.
Trust me, I’d know.
@@gapplssb :(
@@CheesyLizzy nah shes prob not lying, unless she has a history of lying i cant imagine she would say something like that without planning to keep it
@@dantheman7312 Yeah, she's the best mom ever and I trust her ^^
Honestly, if nintendo had kept support for the amiibos, I could have seen that be implimented in the theme park with the stamp system. Maybe giving you the option to buy an exclusive amiibo that features some exclusive minigame in you had all the stamps.
Cool coaster concepts for there:
B&m hyper coaster themed to the wing cap in sm64
Water coaster with a Mario sunshine theme
Intamin blitz multi launch coaster themed to super Mario odyssey
Gerstlauer infinity coaster themed to a splatfest
Premier rides launch coaster themed to Kirby
AA, Delta, and others have really fallen apart. This is what happens when pilot school is too expensive and they don't want to introduce any programs to help new pilots get training to replace all the ones that have been retiring or been getting forced out. I've heard working for major airlines is an absolute nightmare.
I just came back from it! My parents sadly didn’t let me get the band however I did get a cool Luigi pin! It was so fun and me and my cousin the entire time we’re screaming “LUIGI CULT!” lol
The 'they also work as amiibos' thing would feel better if Nintendo actually still had significant support for amiibos' in their games... Like Odyssey just had the three that were made for it, same with Skyward Sword.
3:27 truue like how can they mess up something that iconic
Budget cupcakes are easier to mass produce
@@NicolasDarknessWolf yes but how can you compite with the japanese version of the peach cake
1) The theme park looks amazing, but it also looks a little, I guess, empty? Empty of things to do. Seems like a half day thing unless you're waiting in line for the few activities there are. Almost wish they'd just make semi virtual mario kart courses. You're in a stationary pod that can move in 3 dimensions, so when you catch air, do a flip, go up or down hills, etc, the kart can match that movement. Then you've got a full 3d VR representation of the course you're on. Heck, maybe you can even do a double dash type situation where you have a passenger behind you managing the items.
But seriously, though. The polish on the ambiance of the place looks unrivaled.
2) Airlines in general seem to be begging to lose business. The fact that you got the runaround even when you had first class tickets is quite incredible. I've personally chosen never to fly again -- at least not voluntarily. The horrible service combined with the fact that, if Bad Things do happen, you'll spend a minimum of 5 minutes pretty much knowing you're going to die. You'll be *lucky* if you just nose dive into the ground -- at least then bowel emptying terror only lasts for like a minute.
It's definitely more rare, but I bet the "time spent in terror for your life" measure is bigger for air disasters.
1) it is smaller since it's a land in a preexisting/universal theme park. It's not a standalone theme park despite a lot of people calling it a theme park
I’m so confused about the food 😭 some people say it’s either good, bad or mediocre and I don’t know who to believe anymore
No VIP works because you gave us tips on whay to do before going there. Setting up reservations ahead of time to enter the area and for the Todd café.
Addendum “ American Airlines with a side of salt”
This theme park seems so cool, too bad I don’t live in any country that has/will have one and theme parks themselves are sensory nightmares for me
I always love your videos since they're so entertaining. This was an interesting choice of video though. A very surprising addition. Nice job! Maybe you can do pizza tower or spongebob the cosmic shake next for some suggestions.
Honestly, "Achievements" as a concept is brilliant for any and all theme parks. It gives them "replayability" if you will, so you aren't just going through the motions of being there... I assume. I've never really been to one outside the rare Six Flags one back in middle school for a class trip. Everything was too expensive for my poor ass, the lines were insane, and a tornado struck nearby near the middle of the stay, so we had to leave kinda early.
Haven't really been to a theme park since. Grew up never understanding the appeal, especially Disney parks. Just feels so fake, and expensive.
Yeah I have a local amusement/water park that my family would go to basically annually. I eventually got bored of 95% of the rides by the time we stopped going. It did have an arcade room but kid me was perpetually broke on personal funds when it came to that stuff.
i am so sorry you got stuck at what i assume is dfw airport. that place is absolutely WILD. definitely not the worst airport to be stuck in, but also… it’s dallas… i live relatively near dallas, and i don’t blame you for not being thrilled about your forced layover there, LOL. glad the park was cool though!
Earlier, me and my gamely had a bad flight to for Disneyland (could've gone here but if we did, not enough time to do everything in DL. Basically on the way to DL, flight got canceled. On the way back the airport we were going to got closed. The 1st was the worst cuz we couldn't get a hotel refund as the only real expense the 2nd had was an uber.
I went on opening weekend on Feb 19 and it was almost empty for the Mario kart ride because everyone was collecting keys and since I made reservations with the virtual pass I was the first group to be in the Mario park. Sucks that they once the virtual pass runs out they won’t gives more passes. So advice for everyone who visiting for the park for their first time. Make a reservation on the app and just stay in the park and enjoy everything that it offers because you won’t be able to go back in again in the same day.
Thats awesome, my wife and I were just there the other day. The park is awesome & the Toadstool Cafe may be the single greatest restaurant at Universal studios. The prices were fair as they were free of Mouse-flation and although it was pricey, the short rib special was super delicious and worth every dollar while being surprisingly filling. The keys were fun to collect and when we went to spend them at Bowser Jr's castle, mine unfortunately didn't register as spent, so I couldn't immediately get the achievement on the app. Fortunately, this meant that I skip the key collection a second time and could do the very fun mini game once more with a plus one (*in my best Borat impression* my wife) again.
Thinking you probably went a week ago, most of those kids that were there were probably on the February break that many schools have
Defunctland has given me a newfound appreciation of amusement parks and how they operate that makes this video a lot more enjoyable.
Glad to hear that it was such a blast...save for the flights. Honestly, flying is the one thing keeping me from traveling right now, because 6/8 people that I've known who have flown were boned.
Glad you had a good time Scott! I just got back from my trip there, (which was also a Tuesday) and while it was crowded, I also had a blast.
The Mario Kart ride broke down before I got on as well and my visor wasn’t working when I did get on (somehow got 96 coins anyways), so the employees let me skip most of the line to go again. The food at the toadstool cafe was delicious, worth the very long wait IMO.
Weird speedruns are coming our way.
After seeing a bunch of theme park youtubers that aren't as familiar with Mario games go here, it's nice to see the perspective of someone more familiar with the franchise as a whole talk about it.
I got extremely lucky in bowsers challenge because i had to use the restroom and the staff held my place while I ran to the restroom
Bro saved the side of salt for the last 10 seconds...
I got to actually enter it with my parents, the line was SUPERRR long tho 😭.. It was from the entrance to the back of the Jurassic Park ride, but it was going very fast so I got to go in, I get it. It’s very tiny so it must be super stressful trying to control the guests
Super Nintendo World having achievements means there's a possibility for a speedrun achievements% scene. This time if you cheat you might be kicked out of the theme park
This place is so cool, but it took so long for the ride to actually work.
We went at 7:00, and we were in line til 9:00, thats really my only gripe with this place
Went to Universal, and there’s a good couple of places at the park that give you a good view outside and below. And we could see Nintendo World from a good distance above. It was neat seeing a bunch the moving stuff working
I'm not one who uses a heavyweight on the Wild Wiggler in MK8DX. I use my Mii in the Rosalina suit in the W25.
It's great to see Scott havin fun.
Love your content man, I'd watch your streams more if twitch mobile wasn't bad
Honestly now I’m just wondering when the AllStamps% speedrunning scene will start
Can’t believe that I’m the bad guy for throwing the bad children in active volcanoes… we have something in common.
Thank You for your service
If you cause trouble in the restaurant chief toad comes out and cusses you out
If I don't go to this park before I die, I will NOT be attending my funeral.
so you wouldn't die

I like his luigi theme recently
I'll be going there this weekend with my brother, should be a lot of fun!
DUDE, i didnt even realize the video was at 1.25 speed until the OUTRO. thats when you KNOW you energetic
You went to Super Nintendo World during winter break for kids in school. That’s why there were so many kids there
has anyone counted how many times scott said plethora in the video?
i feel like it must be at least more than five
Reminds me of that one Pearls Before Swine comic where Pig learns a new word for the first time.
That was amazing. Looking forward to Orlando!
It honestly sounds super cool and I hope Nintendo adds more stuff to it like the DK ride. My aunt lives in Florida so I go there to visit every couple years, maybe next time the Orlando one will be open to visit?
Also, on a separate note, that's really sweet of you to apologize to those staff members. Always nice when someone acknowledges the struggles of a customer service worker. Glad you had fun and remember to fly Delta!
I wanted to watch this since it was uploaded, but I hadn’t gone to Nintendo world yet so I waited until I got to experience it my self! Glad I did that!
