Depends and varies by region and country, some have become much more welcoming or offering much longer visa-free stays to U.S.A. citizens than ever before and a few or some have decreased it or removed that option. Panama, India, Dominica, nowadays offer 6 months visa-free, Georgia, Albania, up to 1 whole year visa-free, in Palau, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, can stay and even live and work there as long as you want (an open secret available for decades to citizens of U.S.A.), there are then of course also the U.S.A. territories of Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, etc. The countries that have or may have decreased options for U.S.A. citizens are usually those that have political conflicts with the country and or allied with Russia and or China in terms of geopolitics.

Getting German citizenship is not easy it sounds ..I am married to a German doesn't mean that I automatically qualify for it ..I still have to integrate, have a proficiency of German and spend 8 yrs minimum!
Additionally you need to prove that you (and your spouse) have enough income, to prove, that you will not require financial help from the state. There will also be an exam as part of the process, where you need to prove basic knowledge about the region where you are living. Other than that you listed the requirements. The number of years is lower for those married to a German citizen, if i remember correctly.
It's not worth to get German citizenship. I 'am German and I can tell you Germany is not a good place if you don't want to be only a tax number. To be German it's a burden but not a nacionality. I'am on the way to renounce my german nacionality.

I am swiss native and will leave this corrupt, with extremely criminal "justice", super-expensive country soon. Getting now finally disabled insurance. Looks to me that Paraguay is the best option. I allready speak well spanish. I will be free there. Cheap. Growing. And some protection from criminal debt they pretend here I was in. And even zero or lower tax.
And it's really HOT there.
I didn’t know there was much corruption in Swiss. Did you think of moving to Portugal ?
Don’t they speak Portuguese in Paraguay? Also, having just visited Switzerland for the first time I think you will be shocked by living elsewhere, even the US. I’ll trade you my US citizenship for your Swiss right now.
What happens if one is stateless? A relative of mine is in this position Briefly, he came to the UK on an Irish passport and then after a year was told his details were from fraud due to some sort of different spelling. HE was born in India and it is quite obvious he is not lying. After all, DNA trumps paper mistakes made a century ago. But of course, immigration doesn't take DNA into account. In any case he's on a 10 year plan to gain ILR in the UK..68 years of age but wants the ability to travel in his old age. Are the options investment for citizenship routes?
Go back to India?
due to recent historical events, do you see U S citizens being less welcome in certain foreign countries ?
Yes.
Recent historical events? Isn’t that an oxymoron?
Does a rubber dinghy count????
I sponsored my wife, am.i elible for bajan citizenship? What would it take?
Carrebean and St Kitts and Nevis in Particular is my Choice
Hi. I got permanent residency in Mexico. Although I am back in the U.S. now for a couple years.
What do you think of permanent residence vs. citizenship? Is there value?
I'm looking for a second citizenship so I can change my last name without moving? My current country forbids that? I know in Turkey you can change your name or last name without much problem, but it's a little bit too much for me, do any of the below $200 000 citizenships slow for last name changes while applying for the citizenship?
What's wrong with your name?
are u ashamed with Mehmet last name bro?

As far as Europe is concerned, turkey 🦃 is of Arabs stock. Plus the religion came from Arabs. Allah is an Arab god invented by Arabs.
Hard to see it any other way.
Where are you from and where do you plan to move ? I’m planning for Portugal

Would you recommend Ukraine citizenship? I would like to move to Bukamut as it seems nice.....
you can not have dual citizenship in ukraine
War torn country. Careful with that one
Thank you

Uruguay is a fine place to live and easy to get passport
Yes, but I have read that there are 2 tiers of citizenship. if you naturalize, you aren't "Uruguayan".
@@DixieBanjo Who cares? You can enjoy a great life, good food, beautiful beaches, low taxes and low crime.
@@DixieBanjo , how you not Uruguayan if they gave you citizenship?
what do you mean by that? as not real Uruguayan?
@@bionborys1648 Low taxes? They have huge import tax that makes life very expensive unless your goal is to settle for a very simple life.
@@dmitryk7320 I understand that there's no tax for money you make outside Uruguay, which is really a great idea if you are a nomad. Still, the point I was making is that who cares if you are considered Uruguayan if you can enjoy your life there.
Buying citizenship its always a very BAD Idea! If you have money you can always open a business and stay in every country you want , as long as you want and after 5-10 years you will be citizen like everyone else! Its stupid to buy citizenship instead!
it depends what you value more - your freedom/the time saved granted you have enough money or 8 years of your life spent in another country, id rather just pay the money given the option lol

People need to get together to decide if this person is Swiss enough. That doesn't seem to be a problem for all the Muslims and Sub-Saharan Africans thronging the streets of Zurich and Geneva.
Good lord. How can they be less Swiss than me? My family left 400 years ago. That hardly makes me more Swiss than anyone else not already a citizen.
Can you use your ancestry DNA results to access, citizenship or residency?
Nope, in most cases it has to be in papers to apply for the CBD
LOL, no

We just determined this is our #1 FAQ for citizenship by descent, and the answer is "no". Feel free to email help@nomadcapitalist.com if you'd like help with your ancestry citizenship case.

Hello Andrew couple of days ago 1 lawer from UAE made a video that if someone have 1 Million worth of crypto currency so can apply for a 5 years Golden visa, can u confirm it please? or any other country have such program? Thanks

I want 4 citizenship of Ireland and Switzerland and Fiji
At 3 min he says he won't tell you which countries do this so. Pointless...........
Best advice for good. We trust you.
3 years is enough living in Germany... 8 years for single people
It's not worth to get German citizenship. I 'am German and I can tell you Germany is not a good place if you don't want to be only a tax number. To be German it's a burden but not a nacionality. I'am on the way to renounce my german nacionality.
