Leo and Tweek are forever my OG's but you have a point. They were too "gentlemenly" or just like too humble, especially Leo. From a fighting game perspective, there could have been more spice. And I think the new gen are doing that more.
Zomba is like a “charismatic villain” like Sephiroth or something. You don’t even “love to hate him”, just kinda like him.

Zomba doing this is going to revive Ultimate- because players are going to get HUNGRY and want to see him lose/dethrowned. I hope he dominates this spring, and we get players to PUSH ultimate to the limit- that's what melee did...and look at it now an insane back and forth in Summer . It's what will keep the game alive. Sorta reminds me of early melee Leffen in a way- perfect vilian for ultimate. Just my opinion of course.

Aside from that one pools loss he still placed well at genesis, I don’t think he’s washed (top 10-20 range still for sure). Did you watch LMBM 2024?

This Genesis top 8 was legendary, from the insane ditto with Neo and Shadic to Tweeks insane games and the furthest he's ever gotten into a genesis run to Zomba becoming the new villain of the scene, this entire thing was a blast. All this isn't even mentioning all the upsets that happened before top 8! I don't know if Zomba was just now playing up the heal parts of his personality, or he was always like, but I don't care because it's so funny. 😆
This is my favorite Ultimate Genesis so far. This tournament series will never disappoint. ❤️
