Now I believe the vet bill that came with my 11-year old rescue Shiba Inu saying they removed 20 teeth. 😮 So glad they paid that bill and another surgery on one of her mammary glands. She’s 14.5 now and has amazing endurance, though slower now. ❤❤❤❤
Word on the perch is that Jamie is the best pawrent ever, so the feathered friends decided to see if they could hang out in Sherpa's castle, too.

PS: Hubs woke up with an abscessed molar. Made a dental appointment. The dentist told David they would do a root canal and slip a crown on the tooth. He then said, That will be $2,000. Dave said, how much to pull it? $300. Guess he will be like Sherpy and he will have an extraction.

This is where you see true love from a dog dad. When Sherpa is old and sick he loves and cares for him even more if that were even possible. Love you Jamie, you’re a fantastic example to all of us dog parents. A great way to show that older dogs are just as precious and loveable as the younger ones. ❤

I can't believe how many teeth Sherps had out, poor baby! But so glad his mouth is healthy now and it was all done in one go, he's such a brave boy. I really felt for you Jamie, that waiting game when they're under is horrendous. Please give him so many kisses from us all x
The birds look like swifts or housemartins. When they're flying overhead at dusk they are catching insects. It's so lovely to see Sherpa eating his pills and food. He'll make such a good recovery and seem like a younger doggy afterwards. 💕💕💕💕💕
You can buy swift boxes for the outside of the house for them to nest in. If I wasn't renting I'd get one myself.
Jamie was lucky they didn't bring a coconut into the house. But maybe only swallows do thar...

I had to brush my late cat's teeth once and it was a STRUGGLE! Never walked around with more scratches. So glad Sherpie's doing well, he's a champ! And so are you, Jamie, for taking care of him so well!
Tooth brushing needs to be started when they're babies - my old rescue cats would shred me if I dared to try.
I love watching Maru's channel, his human can clean their teeth, clip their claws and even bathe all her cats and they just relax and let her do it.

Squirt is my beloved abused rescue chewinnie. Squirt is 14 yrs old. Three months ago he had seven teeth removed. I was worried. He's my best friend. He came through it like a champion. Seven days of antibiotics once a day. Seven days of pain medication one half pill twice a day
Squirts vet pointed out and this applies to Jamie and Sherpa. Our dogs have been well taken care of all their lives. Good food, good treats, consistent quality vet care and a life time of love and security. Individually and as a group all these things in my vets opinion matter and make big differences especially in older dogs.
Squirt and I are so tickled that Sherpa and Jamie are back home safe.
Of course let Sherpy be in his garden that's his happy place! I can't believe they took that many teeth
