He seems like he's getting to his feet so much easier. At least in these videos.
And wagging his tail. He hasn't wagged much over the last few months. Dogs apparently cover up their pain quite well. Now, it's just his hips and liver enzymes to keep Jamie's eyes on.
I'm glad Sherpa's not a pure bred Malamute. I had no idea how they are plagued with severe hip issues until Jamie brought it up a couple years ago. Then I watched Life with Malamutes a year later to check on Phil, as I haven't watched their channel regularly for a few years. And I cried over how advanced his condition got by age 13. 😞

OMG the difference in Sherpa is amazing!!! Smells the food and goes right for the door, and he was almost dancing for his Tea!!! And just in general he is soooooo much more alert and sturdy in his movements already!!! ❤❤❤
I tell ya, there is a connection between some pet owners and their pets that is spoken on another level, especially when it comes to food ;v) . I've experienced it, so have some of my friends. The scenes of Sherpy sleeping on the green lawn on a shaded, but sunny day, eating good food, napping while the birds sing, little flowers everywhere and soft breezes ruffling fur are so right. An old pet friend couldn't ask for more.

Sherpa is already starting to look younger. I remember going through this with my fur baby after extensive dental surgery. Chronic pain ages. And they cannot tell us how much. Sherpa will be so much happier now. Good work, Jamie!❤️
